Obama Won The Iowa Caucus 1 Year Ago

From the night of the January 3, 2008 Iowa caucus via YouTube and Obama’s monument to himself website:

Obama: …I’ll never forget that my journey began on the streets of Chicago doing what so many of you have done for this campaign and all the campaigns here in Iowa: Organizing and working and fighting to make people’s lives just a little bit better. I know how hard it is. It comes with little sleep, little pay, and a lot of sacrifices. There are days of disappointment but sometimes, just sometimes, there are nights like this…

You’ll be able to look back at this night and say that this was the moment when it all began… This was the moment when we finally beat back the politics of fear and doubt and cynicism, the politics where we tear each other down instead of lifting this country up. This was the moment.

Years from now, you’ll look back and you’ll say that this was the moment, this was the place where America remembered what it means to hope. For many months we’ve been teased, even derided, for talking about hope. We always knew that hope is not blind optimism. It’s not ignoring the enormity of the task ahead or the roadblocks that stand in our path. It’s not sitting on the sidelines or shirking from a fight. Hope is that thing inside us that insists, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that something better awaits us if we have the courage to reach for it, to work for it, and to fight for it…

Just think, only a year ago (and a day or two) most of the country had no idea who or what Barack Hussein Obama was.

Alas, thanks largely to our watchdog media and an obdurate citizenry, that is still true today.

But if you have the time and the cast iron stomach, listen to the full clip. This is what delusion of grandeur sounds like. What hubris looks like.

It’s quite creepy. And probably quite dangerous.

We shall soon see.

I guess I should have listened to this all those months ago – how telling is it that The One ™ opens with

They said this day would never come

Who is the They, Oh wise one?
When and Where did ‘they’ say it?

I have not heard such nonsense in my adult lifetime – and I’m even older than The One ™ is. In fact the only racist, race baiting, racially divisive drivel I’ve heard in a long, long time – has come solely from The One’s ™ mouth. [of course he also set off P Diddy’s infamous – I don’t even know if there are any black people in Alaska – which sadly was the most sane rant of the PDS crowd]

How the he!! did this idiot get elected?

Yes, wading through the whole clip — or as much as one can bear to hear — you really see the subtext.

It’s all about race baiting and class warfare. Or as he calls it, “social justice.””

Caucuses were a classic implementation of Alinsky tactics….using the system against itself.

No way Barakenstein’s handlers could have amassed an electoral majority against the Hildabease heads-up, so they “organized” the relatively tiny caucuses including states like Wyoming which wouldn’t have voted for Obamy in a general election in a million years.

The press then trumpetted those “victories”, many of which were stolen by busing in illegal participants as “momentum”.

It’s a perfect example of the Big Lie repeated 100,000 times. Repeated enough, the lie becomes the truth, because ordinary people don’t have time to do research and depend on the propagandists in the MSM>

Hey SG – you got a mention at Michelle Malkin’s website on her article putting ‘truth to the lie’ (so much more effective and beneficial than ‘speaking truth to power’) that the (oh so evil, vile and stupid) RIGHT does not have ‘any’ journalists and/or reporters on the InterNet.

I’ve finally figured the msm and lunatic left out – if they ‘proclaim’ that the Right and/or any conservative or Republican is doing it – 100% posi-wasitive that the Dems are 100% guilty of the crime and are engaging in mis-direction.

malignant narcissism is alive and well – in obama’s head.
