I love science.

When done correctly it's a very important part of our understanding of our world and universe.

But in the wrong hands it is as dangerous as a deadly weapon.

Some of these so called scientists take a grain of sand and tell you what the whole beach looked like...a million years ago. (We've seen that done with bones)

They come up with some of the most ridiculous half baked (un) conclusions from the most obscure sources and when shot down by real facts or common sense...they just lie and jerry-rig the fact gathering and results of their "studies". As in the the exposure of their placement of temperature gathering stations...behind air conditioning units blowing hot air, etc.

My cousin who happens to be an atheist, ridicules my belief in the Bible and keeps telling me that I MUST put my faith in science. After all these are "studied people"

Without going into why I believe the Bible...I know one thing. The Bible is the same all the time. Some of this junk science...like global warming...changes everyday. How can you have faith in any THERORY that changes from one day to the next?

Some of these so called scientists throw around Millions of years like Obama throws around Billions and Trillions of Dollars.

After a while it's too big to wrap your head around...which is the end game anyway for them. They sit in their little rooms looking down their noses at the riff raff thinking we are all too stupid to understand their deep knowledge. Shame...because the only ones they are fooling is themselves and a few of their zombies.

This earth is about 30% land mass. Of that 30% only a very small part is inhabited by humans. The earth has always been a self healing planet...(see how long it takes your yard to go back to nature if left alone) We have rocks the clean our water. Wind to clean our air. The sun does it's part. I could go on but everything works together to the heal the earth. It's a bit like our bodies. If we use it, we may get an injury or two but we will heal. But if we don't use it we are wasting a gift.

How much ego does it take to think we can have more than a passing, very temporary effect on even a small part of this planet?

I found this interesting comment on a Wikipedia entry. (yes I know Wikipedia entries can be challenged but it's at least as credible as this global warming nonsense)

<strong>"29% of Earth is land mass. Of that 29% humans occupy less than 1% of that area. Of the remaining 28% about 40% is pure wilderness. 14% is true desert and 15% has desert like characteristics. 9% is Antarctica. Most of the remaining 22% are agricultural areas. There may be other areas with a human footprint of some kind but it is insignificant in any relation to global warming"</strong>

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_percentage_of_land_on_earth_is_dominated_by_humans

And they are now worried about a cow fanny burbing in a field somehere.

I keep thinking of the Bible verse;

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools
Romans 1: 22

"Dr. Hanson of NOAA said today that the new study does not in any way contradict the findings reported by the NASA scientists and others."

It doesn't seem to matter what the studies say, the answer is always "I'm right".

"Those who do not learn form the past are doomed to repeat it"
In this case it is: "Those that can dump their past statements in a convenient memory hole can make political points by contradicting themselves."

Most of today's media make those practicing the "World's Oldest Profession" look like Mother Theresa.
