Oh bother - and you can add this to any one of the above listings of mine:

1) No Amnesty/Program/Whatever you want to call it to make Criminal Illegal Aliens citizens - stop allowing them any and all entitlements - and deport them as you find them - except those incarcerated at this moment (deduct those criminal justice system costs (including providing an attorney(s)) from any financial aid sent to their country of origin.

No overstaying visa, no anchor babies, no medical care (which btw, is what is skewing our maternal/infant rates down into 3rd world status - not to mention the rise of diseases like TB) - which we had under control - until the '65 (Kennedy inspired) & '86 <del>Shamnesties</del> Immigration 'Reform'.

2) Close our borders - revive American sovereignty and the Rule of Law.

Which makes me then ask - if these Illegal Aliens can/do break the Rule of Law and are accepted - why can't I since I don't agree with this current Administration - oh say, not pay my taxes during these 4 hideous years??? Yeah, I know even Mother Sheehan was forced to pay her taxes (but I don't think Rangel has yet - since he keeps 'remembering' all this income - and where are the penalties and fees?) . So apparently the Rule of Law - applies to some Laws but not to others? Or is it more applies to some people not to others?

Ok - the big push is universal/government/public option/co-op/single payer/whatever you call it take over of the healthcare system as it needs 'reform'. What people are missing in this whole scam - is that the very people 'claiming' to now have the correct answer/solution are the very people/institution/government that instituted and mandated the very (former) 'reform' that has caused the very situation that needs to be 'reformed' (again).
So where does anyone (who is truly instructed in both history and current affairs) see 1) the very same people/institution/government that caused the problem now being able to fix the problem and 2) why the need to scrap the whole system and institute all these new and invasive (see Section 431(a) about the IRS turning over tax info) 'programs' that 1) have nothing to do with health care and 2) are simply un-Constitutional and oh, btw break the very laws (read the IRS code - using the tax info to 'quantify' or 'enumerate' the population is forbidden) these same people/institution/government put into place - and would someone (aside from the ambiguous Article 1 Section 8 - 'general welfare' clause which they have used since the beginning to institute these assaults on Freedom and Individual Responsibility) show me exactly where in the Constitution it says healthcare is a right?
To Start:
1) Repeal the 16th Amendment - return Taxation to the States (States Rights, Local vs Federal)
2) Term Limits - good enough for the President - good enough for the lackeys
3) Stand Alone Bills - these 1000 page with Amendments added at 3AM needs to stop NOW.
4) Pay Caps - No more voting their own pay raises/benefits - they go into Tricare for Life and have their pay capped (just like the other government workers).
5) Cut the Supreme Court back to the Original Number and make it a 25 year term limit.
6) If you can't do/won't do number 1 - Flat Tax for ALL.

And I believe that among Independents - that figure is at 100% - I do not care either - even the Rupublicans have 1) added to the tax & spend big government spread and 2) aren't standing up and saying not No but Hell No.

As to healthcare 'reform'
1) Cut State/Federal Mandates on what Insurance Cos must cover
2) Eliminate State borders/employment ties (i.e. portability)
3) Establish tax credits/deductions for HSAs and all Insurance payments (cap if you must but establish it)
4) Tort Reform - even just starting with - no punitive damages (hey it's a start)

To pay for all of this -
1) Cut all Social Programs 'progressively' (just couldn't resist) 1% the first 5 years, 5% the next etc (I'm talking about all - IRS, DMV, Post Office, Welfare, WIC, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security etc) First start with the Fraud, then move to the bureaucracy - then about 5-10 years in move to actual cuts to recipients.
2) Punish each and every program/bureaucracy each year by the last fraud level - i.e. cut the allocation for Federal Year 2010 by the Federal Year 2008 Fraud/Waste amount - might help them clean up their acts.
3) No Convicted Criminals in Congress - Not now, not ever - uhm how many does that relieve from duty immediately? I can think of a few. Sorry Criminals should not be 'running' the Country.

And you see - this is just a small list of things to do which would:
1) Reduce and clean up the Federal Government and taxes
2) Start a real 'reform' movement - piece by piece - little by little
3) Make this government once again Public Servants not our Enslavers.

BTW there is a movement to do this (remove 100%) it is called GOOH - Get Out of Our House - http://goooh.com/Home.aspx

I'm all in favor, speaking of great movies, to remove everyone currently in on both sides, and just start over with a bunch of Mr. Smith's instead.

And to make sure we do the job right, put up a limit on how many lawyers hold office. Like, a amount you can count on 1 hand-kinda amount.

Does anybody remember the movie "Brewster's Millions" with Richard Pryor? He had to spend 30 Million in one month and not have anything left over. He started a campaign against both parties in an election for I think it was Mayor of NYC called "None of the Above" where he urged people to write in as a candidate None of the Above. At the end the people did and caused a special election to try and get someone else. I was thinking about that movie when I read this. With the plethora of ass clowns we have in both houses I think the picking someone out of a phone book method has some merit.
