71 Yr Old Man Attacked, 3 Teen Girls Beat Woman

Two updates on ‘The Dream.’ First from Connecticut’s New Haven Register:

Allegedly unprovoked assault of 71-year-old New Haven man leads to multiple charges

August 26, 2013

NEW HAVEN – Police arrested a 35-year-old New Haven man on gun and other charges after an allegedly unprovoked attack on a 71-year-old man.

Jorge DelaPaz was arrested on charges of assault in the third degree of an elderly person [sic!], carrying a dangerous weapon, carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal possession of a pistol and interfering with police.

The elder New Haven man was eating a hamburger in the Goffe Street Park following a Toni Harp mayoral campaign-sponsored event Sunday afternoon when he was approached by DelaPaz, who is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 250 pounds, according to a police report.

Police say DelaPaz told the elder white male that he shouldn’t be “in his park where young black kids are playing.” When the older man refused an order from DelaPaz to pick up a football, DelaPaz punched the man multiple times in the face, knocking him to the ground, police said…

[A] witness said he or she attempted to intervene but could not stop the fight. DelaPaz then allegedly said he was going to get a gun…

DelaPaz fled the scene on foot when police arrived around 3:40 p.m. He allegedly resisted arrest and hurt an officer’s leg in the process, police said. Officer Robert Hayden pulled out his Taser and yelled “Taser” several times before DelaPaz stopped resisting.

DelaPaz gave several false names to police, including “Jesus De Cristo,” police said. Police at the department’s detention center determined DelaPaz had given a false name and that he was a convicted felon who does not have a valid pistol permit.

Police found a Sig Sauer P239 handgun, a magazine clip containing five hollow point 9mm rounds, two 9mm ball rounds, a set of brass knuckles and two voter registration cards that were filled out and signed within DelaPaz’s backpack, according to police.

Two voter registration cards? Well, at least we know he is a good Democrat.

DelaPaz also has a pending case stemming from a July 16 arrest. He was charged with possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, as well as several drug charges.

Then there is this uplifting tale, from NBC’s Pittsburgh affiliate, WPXI:

Teens face ethnic intimidation charges after brutally beating woman in North Side

August 26, 2013

PITTSBURGH — Three teenage girls are facing several charges, including ethnic intimidation [sic!], after police said they brutally beat a 32-year-old woman Sunday in Pittsburgh’s North Side. Investigators said the incident happened around 2 p.m. near the intersection of Concord and Itin streets.

2 pm. Also known as broad daylight.

According to police, the girls threw a bottle at the victim, Ginger Slepski’s car, and when she stopped to confront the girls, they attacked her. "I thought it was so animalistic, so violent and I’m so afraid for these girls to get out and walk the streets," said Slepski.

Slepski said she tried to get back in her car but the girls grabbed her by the hair. "The one punched me in the head, and I was on a set of concrete steps and my head hit the concrete so hard. Then they all got on top of me and all their hands were in my hair, and they kept telling each other ‘kick her in the head, kick her head in the concrete,’" said Slepski.

So what? We now know that having your head slammed into concrete is just ‘whoop azz.’ It’s nothing to get excited about.

Slepski said a lot of people were standing around watching but were too afraid to help.

“It’s sad, but it doesn’t surprise me. Our youth…, some of them are going in the wrong direction,” said one resident who did not want to be identified.

You think?

Officers said the woman was kicked, punched, robbed and left in the middle of the street. Police said they also called the victim a racial slur.

But don’t worry. After the police get called by Mr. Holder, they’ll say race wasn’t involved.

"I do feel like it was very racially motivated and I grew up in the neighborhood," said Slepski.

Witnesses ran to help the woman and one man said he watched as the three young black girls, ages 14, 15 and 16, were arrested… The girls were taken to Shuman Detention Center and charged with ethnic intimidation, robbery and conspiracy.

What a strange new world our country has become. Even the crimes in both of these reports sound Orwellian.

  1. Liberals Demise

I’ll wait for the “victim” card to be tossed.
    These yuts gots rights.
    Crimiinal Justice!

  2. “DelaPaz gave several false names to police, including “Jesus De Cristo,” police said.”

C’mon, everyone knows Jesus carried a Uzzi.

Uzzi (Hebrew עוזי `OoZY) is a biblical name meaning “the Lord is my strength”.

What the hell is ‘ethnic intimidation’? When is the media going to get over the fascination with these word games?

How about we just call it assault and battery? Or racism?

    • The real question is if authorities have evidence of ‘ethnic intimidation’ then isn’t that the same evidence that constitutes a hate crime?

  4. What is the penalty for “ethnic intimidation”? A Kool-aid summit to discuss race in America?

Yelling “kick her in the head” would make me lean towards attempted murder, or at the very least assault with a deadly weapon. They should be tried as adults and an example should be set. I also believe that laws should be instituted that would hold parents of underage thugs responsible for the criminal acts of their children. Maybe up to age 26?

It’s wont even be classified as a hate crime because hating whitey isn’t hate, it’s the prescribed cure for racism. Besides, whites aren’t a protected class in America.
