Palestinian Summit - In Glorious Photographs

From a collection of wire service photographs that Yahoo has aptly categorized as a "Palestinian Summit":

These photos were taken in the personal office of elected Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas after it was taken over by Hamas in fighting in Gaza City, early Friday, June 15, 2007.

Of course the photo caption was left over from the previously scheduled Israeli-Palestinian summit which was to be held next week.

Prime Minister Olmert had announced that Israel was prepared to make still more "painful concessions" to the peaceful Palestinians.

But alas the meeting has had to be postponed.
