“This is the nice suburban house here I live with my family: husband Todd, son Rodd and our dog Scruffy. It’s a really nice house but as you can probably tell from the anxious, whining tone of my voice, I’m worried that we could lose it. With repossessions on the rise because of the greed crazed antics of those Wall Street fat cats, those of us here on Main Street face a grim future. Of course, Todd and I could have put down more than $20 and a box of old National Geographics as a deposit; I mean we could have saved up until we could actually afford this place, but nobody told us so it’s not our fault.

“Here’s our family room where we all gather to ignore each other and watch our 40” plasma TV or check out a DVD in our home theatre (want some popcorn?) or play music on our personal stereo systems or play air hockey or pool or video games. In the garage you can see our quad bikes – we all have one – even Scruffy the Dog – and our snowmobiles. I suppose we didn’t really need the snowmobiles, living in San Diego as we do, but hey, who says you can’t spoil yourself once in a while?

“Like it? This is my enormous gas swilling people carrier. Todd has one too. I go everywhere in this – even to the mail box – but rising fuel costs mean that I may someday actually have to drive it less or even “walk” somewhere on my legs – and that can’t be right. Not in America!

“I do all my shopping here at the Herd Meadows Mall. They have everything I don’t need and can’t afford but now even the Mall has fallen on hard times. This used to be “Crap ‘n’ Stuff” and that was “Vanity Barn” and over here was “Junk U Like” but they’re all gone now, all gone, and there’s nothing left to buy except plentiful food and clothing.

“Now I’m at Rodd’s football practice –go team! Rah! Rah! Rah! He’s a great kid and next year he’s planning to start an Associate’s Degree in Non-Smoking Studies at Alger Hiss Community College but I’m worried that he’ll get sent to the war torn jungles of Iraq. Thank goodness that Barack Adorable promises that won’t happen: he wants Rodd to go to Pakistan. Whew!

“It’s four o’clock in the afternoon so Todd will be getting home from work any minute. He loves his job at the cracker factory but who knows how long he’ll be able to keep it? American workers are the best paid, most pampered and least productive in the whole world yet somehow we seem to lose more and more jobs to foreign competition. It’s just not fair!

“I look around nowadays and I ask myself “what happened?” It sucks having to live like a grown up and pay our bills and live within our means and not be able to do whatever we want whenever we feel like it. This isn’t the America we were promised! I just wish someone would come along and relieve this dark cloud of anxiety that haunts my dreams and tell me that he’ll make everything all right and that he’ll take care of my life for me, forever…a smooth talking, non-threatening colored man with a Dream of Change, a dream that may soon become a Vision…”

Is his granny toots still alive? Two weeks ago she was on her death bed living just one breath away from passing on. It is very apparent that this poser only thinks of himself. I do not doubt that if his children were drowning, he would stand on the shore and give a speach to anyone gathered around.

In that speech, he’d blame FEMA for not having placed life preservers at the shoreline.

No real surprise – tales of members of his family that are useful are gladly told, while family members who are not useful to his campaign are treated like “Joe the Plumber.”

Naturally our MSM has made sure we know the results of Joe’s colonoscopy but little to nothing about Obama’s half brother in Kenya.

But this ad reveals much about Obama and how he has learned to manipulate the public for his own gain. His entire family situation is a study in familial dysfunction.

His father, a bigamist, abandons his wife and son and returns to Africa to marry yet again. Barry’s mother remarries and moves to Indonesia. A few years later she abdicates responsibility for him and remands him to her parents. They, in turn, place him in boarding schools and subsequently wash their hands of him as he reaches adolescence, and allow him to do pretty much as he pleases.

The result is that the only true affection he shows is toward his African brothers and sisters with whom he shares only half or less than half of a blood line. He has no real feelings for anyone, save his wife and daughters, and we’re left to speculate as to the depth of those feelings as well.

But he knows well enough that a large majority of the American people do have a genuine love of parents and family, and he isn’t above playing to those sentiments in the quest for votes and the advancement of his personal agenda.

If Bill Clinton was “an unusually good liar”, then Obama has no equal. He is soul-less but not above bartering for yours and mine.

The second is how his “typical white person” grandmother wasn’t just someone who worked at a bank, at one time she was vice president of the Bank of Hawaii.

Losing a parent is one of the hardest things to go through but I agree, he seems more interested in his practically non-existent father than his mother who was a major presence in his life.

However, the ad that should be run is this:

Under the socialized health care Obama supports his mother, diagnosed with cancer, would most likely have been given a prescription for pain medication and directions to get her affairs in order because some government bean-counter didn’t want to drop money on her treatment.

Indeed, in Oregon, they basically told a woman that – and then offered to pay for assisted suicide.

Better to be bankrupt than dead.

But I’m just some right-wing, neo-con, capitalist fascist nut, right?

No, there is nothing Mr. Obaba will not lie about.

The better question is: is there anything Mr. Obama has been truthful about?

And by the way, why have we never heard from dear Granny. The third cousin of Ms. Palin’s yard guy has now been interviewed 5 times, and his divorce records have been scoured for dirt.

I really don’t like people who shave the truth to suit the ____(fill in the blank: audience, moment, situation etc). I wonder why people have to do that, I would suspect that they know they did the wrong thing and are attempting to minimize their actions at the time.
