ACLU May Sue CA Town For Not Accepting Illegal Aliens

From the Associated Press:

California city rejects child immigrant shelter

July 23, 2014

ESCONDIDO, Calif. (AP) — A north San Diego suburb’s planning commission on Tuesday ratified its rejection of a proposed 96-bed shelter for unaccompanied immigrant children who are arrested by the Border Patrol, while the American Civil Liberties Union said it was mulling a legal challenge.

Naturally. After all, illegal aliens have the civil right to live anywhere they want in the US,and US citizens have no right to stop them.

That is how the ACLU protects American civil liberties, day in an day out. (For the real agenda behind the ACLU, see the quote from its founder, Roger Baldwin, that is posted below this article.)

About 200 people packed into City Hall chambers, and a large, overflow crowd cheered and jeered below an outdoor speaker as Escondido commissioners heard impassioned pleas, mostly from people urging them to reconsider. "Shame on you!" members of the crowd shouted after the panel voted 6-0 to uphold its decision from last month.

The AP wouldn’t have reported on the event if it had been anti-illegal aliens. By the way, try being a protester in Mexico or any Central American city if you are not a citizen. You will get carted off to prison, PDQ.

The audience largely supported the proposal, a contrast from last month’s sharply divided crowd when the outcome was less certain. Shelter supporters waved signs that read, "Migrants’ Lives Matter" and "Don’t Be Afraid of the Children."

Or their diseases. Or their gang violence. Or the costs of feeding and housing and treating them medically for the rest of their lives.

David Loy, legal director of the ACLU of San Diego and Imperial Counties, said at a news conference earlier Tuesday that Escondido may be violating state and federal fair-housing laws against discrimination.

You didn’t know everyone in the world had the right to live wherever they want in the US? And that American citizens have no right to try to stop them? You must be a hater.

Southwest Key Programs, the nonprofit group that would operate the shelter, sent representatives to the news conference and said it was being advised by the ACLU.

Southwest Key contracts with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to operate child-immigrant shelters across the country, including a temporary facility at Naval Base Ventura County, north of Los Angeles…

In addition to this being a Democrat voter drive, this ‘crisis’ is also a money making machine for amnesty groups, as well as their partners in crime, the ACLU and La Raza.

This maybe be a good time to repost this 1935 quote from the ACLU’s founder, Roger Nash Baldwin, from Roger Nash Baldwin and the American Civil Liberties Union, pp. 228-229:

My "chief aversion" is the system of greed, private profit, privilege, and violence which makes up the control of the world today, and which has brought it the tragic crisis of unprecedented hunger and unemployment. I am opposed to the new deal [sic] because it strives to strengthen and prolong production for private profit.

At bottom I am for conserving the full powers of every person on earth by expanding them to their individual limits. Therefore, I am for socialism, disarmament, and ultimately for abolishing the State itself as an instrument of property, the abolition of the propertied class and sole control by those who produce wealth.

Communism is the goal. It sums up into one single purpose — the abolition of the system dog-eat-dog under which we live, and the substitution by the most effective non-violence possible of a system of cooperative ownership and use of all wealth.

That, gentle reader, is the left’s agenda in a nutshell.
