There won’t be a specific amount until the money is dispersed. The American Spectator does a good job breaking it down.

Something odd…in our community, we had no ACORN activists because of our lack of the proper minority. Funny thing is, as of Sunday, we do now. I wonder why? Isnt the election over with? I am beginning to feel the same way I do when a Hurricane watch is issued for our area….and I am not the only one.

Forewarned is forearmed though, and I plan on keeping a very close eye on future developments…..my area is in the top three foreclosure areas in the Nation, but the vast majority of them dont fit the proper minority status, thus they dont qualify for “sit ins” or “rights to a house”. So if that isnt why that group just showed up, perhaps our new friends will be organizing the civilian security force promised by The One?

I dont know…but I am getting that pounding sensation behind me again.

OH, by the way, can anyone show the amount ACORN received in the stimulus package? There is a debate currently being published in our local paper that states they didnt get a dime….and I understood they did.

Would someone be kind enough to steer me in the right direction so that I may refute that claim with facts? This area is immersed in Obamamania….and in dire need of being offered proof of what they state emphatically isnt true.

What’s the problem here, exactly? Diddly squat is going to be done. Remember during the campaign when Obama was getting all those (illegal) online donations? What happened to that burning issue? Remember how he opted, after all, to forego public financing? What, pray tell, became of McCain/Fiengold? And anent to this post, what happened about all those illegal and bogus ACORN voter registrations?

Once again, remember that ACORN is a 501c3 non-partisan “charity.”

So who enforces these rules? The IRS? To whom would we complain to get the law enforced? Seems someone with money and an agenda would be on top of taking down these “charities.” All conservative political organizations, i.e NRA, are not tax exempt and contributions to them are not tax deductable, wonder why that is?

The war against the secret ballot is on, full steam ahead.

And, BTW, who wrote this idiotic IRS guideline?

A 501(c)(3) organization may engage in some lobbying, but too much lobbying activity risks loss of tax-exempt status.

They built in enough wiggle room that nobody even needs a lawyer to get out of it. Who gets to say how much is “too much?”
