Actually it’s the opposite. If true justice and equal standards had been in place this mass murderer and terrorist would have been hung from the gallows long ago. The double standard is to allow him to live while his 200 + victims remain dead. But I guess most of the victims were white American Christians, so who cares?

Instead the terrorist is given an ovation by other anti-western thugs wrapped in a pretty international bow of preening anti-US propaganda. Wonder if any of them would even stand for a moment of silence for his victims.

Some days I wish these barbarians and their cohorts had no access to the technology created by the Western world and modern civilization; their excuses for violence and corruption keep their societies impoverished and continually loathing “the West.”

Lockerbie bomber weak, pale in public appearance

TRIPOLI, Libya – The ailing Lockerbie bomber looked weak and pale, sitting in a wheelchair, as he was visited by a group of African parliamentarians Wednesday in a rare appearance in the hospital where he is being treated for prostate cancer.

Abdel Baset al-Megrahi appeared for only five minutes and did not speak during the visit in the Tripoli Medical Center. Dressed in hospital scrubs, he wore a surgical mask over his mouth and nose and a traditional embroidered cap…

He was brought out Wednesday for a visit by 150 members of the South Africa-based Pan African Parliament, the largely symbolic body of the African Union. Some delivered speeches congratulating al-Megrahi on his release. Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi later held a separate meeting with the parliamentarians.

“I can’t prove that he (al-Megrahi) is guilty or innocent, but I sympathize with his health condition,” said Idriss Ndele Moussa, chairperson of the Pan African Parliament…
