“Ahmadinejad Displayed Logic Of Islam At CU”

Davoudi: President displayed logic of Islam in Columbia University

Tehran, Oct 1, IRNA

First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi said on Monday that the statement presented by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in University of Columbia displayed logic of Islam and weakness of infidelity.

In a meeting with commanders of the Basij (volunteer forces), Davoudi said that the president’s address indicated decay of the Western logic and revived national dignity of Iranians.

He said that the statement was a shock-wave to the conscience of the world people, in reference to President Ahmadinejad’s remarks that why the Palestinian people in the Middle East should pay the price for the Holocaust which took place in Europe?

Davoudi said that the president’s address in New York was received with sense of understanding by the world public opinion to the dismay of the Western media which had made planning to the contrary.

“It was a confrontation of Islam and infidelity. Thanks to grace of God, self-confidence and bravery, the president expressed the strong logic of Islam and overcame the weak logic of infidelity.”

He’s right, you know. At least the part about displaying the “logic of Islam.” As well as how it showed the decay and weakness of the West.

The truly sad thing is that this is what Mr. Bollinger and the rest of Columbia had hoped would happen when they first thought of inviting him.
