And come fourth of July we'll see (yikes) just where he comes down on missile defense.

Something tells me he wasn't studying nuclear arms policy (or any defense policy) from the expert standpoint of those who are actually responsible for our defense.

At any rate, Obama is biting his tongue in order to legitimize this regime so he can negotiate with them over nukes. (Wonder how that'll work out?)

A-jad is emboldened to make such outrageous statements not only because he sees how weak Bamster is, but also because he knows he'll have an audience with the world's superpower no matter how badly he rigs the election and no matter what he does to the protesters.

The Hitler of Iran is grinning like an ass as he extols the virtues of his regime, and the 'fairness' of the elective process. How does one say you're full of **** in Farsi?

Communist Frank Marshall Davis was Barrack Obama's mentor while growing up in his teens in Hawaii.
Obama usually visited him, when he was down, or in trouble. Mad at his grandparents, or such as after his mother chewed him out for drugs and lowering grades warning him he'd end up a good-time Charlie.
Prehaps that is where Obama got his desire to also do poetry and write. And possibly got the many communist and marxist books he was always reading through the years. They certainly have helped him with empathy towards communist and tyrant leaders. His ideas of Hogu Chavez and the muslim world were ideas he didn't dismiss, the one thing holding him back from undemocracy, which has done more harm to the world. Holding him back, was the torturing that might happen with that type of leadership. His mother spending her lifetime in international affairs in muslim countries also contributed to his anti-American
anti-democratic idealism.
an informal work on Obama's friend and mentor
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Marshall_Davis

Also, after all the ta do, over getting the D-Day facts wrong on his uncle, in the dreams he said his father never saw combat.
But in the book Obama wrote for his campaign he tells of a speech he gave at an anti-war protest ...,"I didn't oppose all wars - that my grandfather had signed up for the war the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed and had fought in Patton's army."
Oh and on Ronald Reagan he was bitter of - "the invasion of tiny, hapless Grenada. The more I studied nuclear arms policy, the more I found Star Wars to be ill conceived.." Barrak Obama

well, on the bright side, Ahmadinejad will be afraid to leave his castle. The Iran and American rendegades may have to render their next rendezvous in Iran. Ya know, I keep thinking about Jimmy Carter at the end of his Palenstine trip saying he'd be talking his Israel hatred to Obama in two days. Is pea nut working free for Obama. It can't be easy for anti-Jewish Obama to find any obomie's to do what Carter's doing without causing American concern. What is Carter's legal position under the current administration?

"It’s quite sicking for me to see this kind of abuse of the English language"

I don't see any difference from our own Supreme Leader.

To both, lying is like breathing.

And our little boy has the capacity to do more destruction than Akmanutjob. At least Akma is is transparent dictator. Our little boy has got the whole house of mirrors thing going on.

I predict that at the end of the dictatorships, the damage The Moron will cause will exceed the nutjob's by a factor of 10 or more.

The more Ahmadinejad speaks the more transparently unhinged the regime becomes. It reminds me of the doublespeak in "Animal Farm" and comical Ali's declarations of victory during the Iraq invasion. Everything that Ahmadinejad said is the inversion of the truth, the Iranians know it, the world knows it, Ahmadinejad knows it! But I think he said more than he intended, "The beginning of the end of world arrogance..." If we invert that statement it's the beginning of the end for the regime. And it is!

I'm praying that the people of Tehran realize that they are fighting for their very lives! If the protests fail, the mad mullahs will lead the country into a catastrophic disaster.

On the other hand, the protesters may have already succeeded. The regime has become illegitimate, blood is on their hands, and they're close to a nuclear bomb. Israel's choice has become clear and a strike will be much more reasonable in the eyes of the world

"Beginning of the end" Indeed!

tranquil.nite. I think N. Korea's and China's lack of muslims is why Obama keeps insulting them. When he suggested it made more sense to attack N. Korea than Iraq, and called China a future threat, then as President keeps complaining about owing them money, and the battling the decrease of a dollar. He's got them on edge. Obama will cozy up with Russia after his visit as a Senator , where he witnessed anthrax and piles of ammo and bombs that he said would take 60 years to dismantle. Don't think Obama will trade his knocking of fists in for clicking of heels. He'll find a loud speaker the entire world can listen to. "I am the wizard of oz"

I thought he was being carried for a second. Guess it's someone's duty to carrying a box for him to stand on. They just need someone that has a good aim. Look at that hand. Someone's trying to grope. Obombie will be jealous. Ahmadman will make it up to Obama and tell him, how to rig the next election.
Or maybe Obombi told Aahmadman how to do it. I will never forget Kundra (who fullfilled the newly created position at the WH for Obama's personal IT secretary, when chuckeling, having to pause and recompose himself, when he first heard of the 9/11 bombing. We know the FBI released him back to the White House, but never heard anymore about his former colleagues who were arrested and charged by the FBI. Maybe Obama had those charges dismissed too.

Ahmadinejad and the supreme leader have no shame over their vote rig. Tyrants try to make themselves look like saviors of the people. They abuse Western idioms to pretend like they value human rights, instead of admitting to the repression they create to stay in power. While both Ahmadinejad and the supreme leader actually loathe democracy and rigged the vote, they lie and claim it is actually the non-tyrannical governments, the Western ones that are rigged - though we don't disqualify candidates. Those kind of bold-faced lies are the hallmark of a tyrant, and the Iranian regime has learned them well.

It's quite sicking for me to see this kind of abuse of the English language. Wrong is not right, black is not white, stealing votes are not fair and shooting unarmed crowds of protesters is not fighting "terrorist groups" (as the Iranian press TV calls the young men and women walking outside).

The success of the tyrants' message depends on the stupidity and gullibility of the audience. You have to have good intentions and to value words over actions and evidence to buy that sort of crap. Which is why I'm so concerned about the liberal morons on the white house, especially Obama. If Iran presents enough window dressing to say that they are not developing nukes then, well, the Obama administration will buy it, and any acre of swampland the mullahs offer us. Obama is the kind of well-intentioned fool who would buy the Islamo platitudes.

wardmama4: yours is the one of the greatest posts ever on S&L.

The reason the post is so great is that I honestly have no idea whether you are talking about the leadership in Iran or the United States.

I can't read your mind......but I think the realistic answer is "both".
