Ahmadinejad: Iran, Afghanistan – Terror Victims

From the Iranian government’s mouthpiece, Irna:

Both Iran, Afghanistan are victims of terrorism: Ahmadinejad

Kabul, Aug 14, IRNA

Both Iran and Afghanistan have been fallen victims to terrorism in the region, visiting President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday.

Speaking in a joint press conference with his Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai, President Ahmadinejad said, “Those who only believe in using weapons to solve problems of mankind are deeply mistaken.” “Mankind’s problems should be solved through negotiations and observing justice,” stressed the president who arrived here Tuesday morning on the first leg of his three-nation tour of regional states which would later take him to Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Imposing unjust systems by certain powers are another cause of terrorism,” President Ahmadinejad said adding, “The fight against terrorism requires a collective will and a serious move.”

It’s refreshing to hear the President of Iran speak out against the imposition of Sharia law this way.

— No, wait. Mr. Ahmadinejad is talking about the imposition of representative government.

Yes, that is surely an “unjust system.”

Especially for pint-sized dictators who have been installed by religious cabals.
