Muslims appear to take only the pieces of the Quran they want so they can claim that what they are doing is right by Allah.

“BlackBarry” appears to be using pieces of our Constitution to take down the Republic so he can claim he is doing right by “BlackBarry”.

I don’t understand why we aren’t doing anything to destabilize that country. Most of Iran is young, with an estimated 60 percent under 25 years old. This group is craving western culture (such as it is). They are having to import gas for crying out loud.

Would be nice to have someone in power who’s not a crazy person whose reason for living is wanting to hasten the appearing of the “12th Imam or Mahdi.” To hasten the return of the Mahdi, Ahmadinejad will welcome Israeli air strikes to generate adverse world reaction towards Israel and the U.S.

There must be something wrong with many “pious” Muslims (if there is such a thing) because they cannot distinguish between right and wrong. Murdering people by blowing yourself up and having that vile act extolled as virtue in mosques is not what I would call a “religion of peace.”
Even the Quran speaks against this :
“If you are (pious and) Allah-fearing (taqwa), He will bestow on you the gift
of discriminating between right and wrong.” Quran, Infaal: 29

Maybe he’s just holding her hostage til Obama comes back to visit. He is one Naughty man. I can’t believe Columbia University allowed him to visit the college the Obama attended.

Saberi was born in Iran, and truly loved it there. Prehaps she meant she was spying for Iran?

Bloomberg – Iranian officials first said Saberi was arrested for continuing to report after authorities declined to extend her press accreditation, which expired more than a year ago. Earlier this month, prosecutors said she had confessed to having engaged in espionage activities under the guise of a reporter.

Saberi came to Iran six years ago and has since reported for news organizations that include National Public Radio and the British Broadcasting Corp.

Her Iranian-born father, Reza Saberi, told NPR yesterday that his daughter had been “deceived” into making incriminating statements after being promised she would be freed in exchange. Saberi’s father and Japanese-born mother, who live in North Dakota, traveled to Iran to try and help their daughter.
