Ahmadinejad Still Plans To Visit ‘Ground Zero’
From New York City’s ABC TV outlet WABC-TV:
Iranian mission says he’ll go despite NYPD rejection
(New York - WABC, September 19, 2007) - Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad requested to visit Ground Zero during an upcoming trip to New York. That request was rejected Wednesday. But a source tells Eyewitness News that the decision may not stop him.
A law enforcement source says the Iranian mission to the United Nations has informed the Secret Service that the Iranian president intends to visit Ground Zero Monday at 10 a.m.
The source says regardless of the NYPD’s rejection of the request for a Ground Zero tour, Iran’s president and his entourage will be accompanied by a Secret Service protective detail, a detail provided to all heads of state when they visit the United States…
Mayor Rudy Giuliani released the following statement on Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad:
“Under no circumstances should the NYPD or any other American authority assist President Ahmadinejad in visiting Ground Zero. This is a man who has made threats against America and Israel, is harboring bin Laden’s son and other al-Qaeda leaders, is shipping arms to Iraqi insurgents and is pursuing the development of nuclear weapons. Assisting Ahmadinejad in touring Ground Zero - hallowed ground for all Americans - is outrageous.” …
Hopefully the President and student body of Columbia will provide him some additional security.

In my opinion , Mamoud should be allowed to visit Ground Zero unhindered.
His problems will begin when he tries to leave.

Will there even be an outcry when he starts cheering and uses the visit to “show what we are capable of” and that “if the U.S. does not submit, your entire country will look like this?”
Nope, I suspect we won’t hear a peep; instead the reaction will be “Look how embittered U.S. foreign policy has made this man. We must pay reparations to all Muslim countries, not just Iraq, at once.”

I’m curious…. He doesn’t have a visa to visit the United States, as I understand things. He only has a right of safe passage to the United Nations.
He would be an illegal if he deviates from actions necessary to that, wouldn’t he?
I’d hope that there will be some actual effort to prevent him from visiting our hallowed ground.

His only interest is to honor those terrorist that this dastardly thing!
Then he’ll go back to Iran and tell them how he gave a wreath of honor for those who crashed into those buildings.
This guy is a real nut case!

Let’s “escort” this puke the way he “escorted” the British naval boarding team. Works for me.

I think 1st has the right idea. Make sure all the surviving family members know when he’s going to be there and then let security leave ahead of this freaking nutjob. The families will take care of amadamadingdong.

I hope someone sends Inajihad to Hell that day.

Even better WI, Make him convert to Christianity at the site, Then send him home.
September 20th, 2007 at 2:12 pm
Would someone somewhere please grow a pair and tell this guy, not no, but “hell no”!!!! Geez, why don’t we just run up the white flag while he’s in town and give him the keys to the city?
September 20th, 2007 at 2:21 pm
zoomie…..Bloomberg probably will do just that. (I mean give him keys to the city and white flag.)

This guy is a real nut case!
The fact that he may very well be allowed to visit the site suggests that there are even worse nutcases out there -on our side of the Atlantic.
1st, WI, Sharps,
Know what worries me ? He’ll be allowed to do this, then some good American cop or Secret Service agent will get hurt protecting this scumbag from outraged citizens.
Better to just -as zoomie says- say “hell no!”, let him do his thing at the UN then put him on a plane home with a bag of fried pork rinds to snack on.

What would worry me more DW is some good cop or secret service guy blows his ass up and gets prosecuted. So you’re right of course, just say NO is the best policy. But hell, we can fantasize can’t we?

Drag his dead carcuse up the middle of Broadway behind a team of Hogzillas suffering from a bad case of diahrea.
September 20th, 2007 at 2:53 pm
“Just say ‘no’ to thugs”.
Sounds like good bumper-sticker material to me (not to mention sensible foreign policy)…

It is a bit disrespectful of president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad –think about how he’d react if President Bush wanted to walk through the main mosque in Tehran. Mayor Rudy Giuliani has the right idea.

As the dems say we need creative diplomatic solutions; I say we fill the city block around ground zero with pigs. Like garlic to a vampire, right? Only downside is that it would shut down taxi service there.

Uh, am I missing something here - don’t we (America) have a GWOT ‘warrent’ out on all state sponsorship of terrorism? We have the proof that Iran is sending weapons into Iraq, training people and we know that al-Sadr runs there every time the heat is turned up on his ‘militia’ - so forget all this pandering and posturing just divert his plane to Gitmo and unload him and then hold him until hell freezes over.

The city of New York has denied Amdamadingdong’s request to mock the 9/11 site, and Bush backed their play. So someone in that city has the nads to say no, and mean it.
I would enjoy seeing someone use that opportunity to discover if their 30.06 is one inch right, and a half inch high.

Why is this POS even allowed to land on U.S. ground ? Can’t he land off shore on a aircraft carrier from his fleet and be choppered to the roof of the anti-U.S. UN ? I don’t want this pile to even get American lint on the soles of his shoes , not to mention any hard fought soil .
Fleet , thats right , I said fleet . Rubber dingies filled with high explosives aimed at our citizen soldiers .
This is maddness .

Just out of curiosity, does a President of a foreign country need a visa to visit the United States? Or does diplomatic immunity cover it all?
Just think, Ahmadinejad himself could blow up a building or a grade school full of kids and we literally couldn’t touch the man.
September 21st, 2007 at 6:11 am
Kucharsk, just like that Lethal Weapon movie where the evil guy holds up his passport and claims “diplomatic immunity”, one gunshot and the evil guy take one in the forehead…”Just got cancelled”.
Although, the bad guy, in this case was a South African. Hollyweird politics at play again.

This would be a golden opportunity for B. Hussein Obama to prove he’s the outstanding diplomat that he claims he is. He wants to leave discussion open to the rulers of other countries no matter what? Fine. Escort your friend Ahmadinijad to ground zero to show him what a swell guy you are.
Of course, democrats could use this against Bush too. If you have proof that his country provides weapons to terrorists in Iraq, then arrest him on the spot. It’s a lose/lose/win/win situation I guess.
If it were somewhere besides liberal bastion NYC, some fine NRA member might put us out of his misery and save us all the trouble of debating it.
September 21st, 2007 at 12:13 pm
In a way I hope no one does try and take him out while in the city. It would truly be a shame for some good American secret service agent to have to lay down his life for this scum.

From what I understand and read, Amadickhead is granted a C2 visa like most of the “guests” attending the General Debate. The C2 allows the “guest” to wander in a limited 25-mile radius from where he will be staying during his visit. That covers pretty much NYC and nearby communities. Hell, I might even spot him in my Queens neighbourhood. He will most likely pay a visit to his muslim buddies in our city and preach his usual BS at a gathering of cab drivers, street vendors and why not, a few doctors. Best time to raid a party.
