Why Are Anti-Georgians So Pro-Obama?

Some all too telling photos from the wire services:

A man holds a portrait of U.S. President-elect Barack Obama during an opposition rally in Tbilisi November 7, 2008. More than 10,000 Georgian opposition supporters rallied on Friday against President Mikheil Saakashvili, piling pressure on his government after its crushing military defeat by Russia. The rally in Tbilisi marked the first anniversary of a crackdown on opposition demonstrators, when police fired rubber bullets, teargas and water cannon to end days of protests outside parliament.

Mind you, these “protestors” are pro-Russia and anti-Georgia. They want Georgia to be subsumed by the Soviet Union Russia.

So why are they carrying signs that say they beleive [sic] in Obama?

(Rhetorical question.)

Biden, for all his smarminess, foibles and blunders, is, at least, unintentionally prophetic about Obama – Russia isn’t waiting for Obama to take office, they are setting up the ‘test’ now.

… Let the fight against Comrade Obama begin now.

  2. Liberals Demise

Of all the pictures shown, the closest person of color I see is the Mongolian. Looks like for some of these well wishers, Obammy doesn’t pass the stink test!! They probly smell the Stalin on his collar!!

In spite of his gross corruption and incompetence, Saakashvili has been propped up by the Bush administration. That is because Saakashvili opposes cooperation of any kind with Russia. Georgians support Obama because they perceive that with him they have a chance of stopping US interference in their domestic affairs in the name of “spreading democracy.”

Gas masks and B.O. kind of go together, don’t they?

    That must be it.

God knows this country is obsessed with interfering with Russia’s domestic affairs.

(That is, when we aren’t giving Russia billions of dollars we will never see again.)

  6. Why are the protester wearing gas masks that have no filters on them?

Note the visible threads where a filter would attach at the bottom of the mask.

Those aren’t gas masks. You are actually seeing a couple of gray aliens. B.O. has true universal appeal.
