In spite of his gross corruption and incompetence, Saakashvili has been propped up by the Bush administration. That is because Saakashvili opposes cooperation of any kind with Russia. Biden, for all his smarminess, foibles and blunders, is, at least, unintentionally prophetic about Obama – Russia isn’t waiting for Obama to take office, they are setting up the ‘test’ now.
