AOL Spams For Gore’s “Truth” Documentary

America Online is shamelessly shilling for Al Gore’s latest chicken little documentary, An Unsubstantiated Canard An Inconvenient Truth.

I just received this in the S&L letter box:

Former Vice President of the United States Al Gore, right, and American director Davis Guggenheim speak during a press conference for the film ‘An Inconvenient Truth,’ at the 59th International film festival in Cannes, southern France, on Saturday, May 20, 2006.

My name is Mike, and I am with AOL Moviefone. I came across your blog, and thought I should send you this. I wanted to let you know about two features we have for the upcoming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth. Since this movie revolves around an Al Gore speech, and relates to environmental politics, I thought that this may appeal to your readers. The first feature is a trailer for the movie itself. Al Gore discusses the consequences of Global Warming. You can see that here:

We also have an exclusive interview with the producer and director of An Inconvenient Truth. They discuss working with Al Gore and the necessity of a documentary on Global Warming. You can see the trailer and interview here:

Feel free to link to either of these features in your blog. Let me know if you have any questions.

Does AOL have a piece of Gore’s "documentary"? Or do they just want to promote his America-hating politics?

Of course we already know that AOL hates President Bush.
