Right on, Canary! And the military needs to purify its ranks right now and dishonorably discharge anyone who holds the same beliefs Hasan holds.

Oh, also the doctor on the news said that Hasan wanted to do a survey for just muslim's in the U.S. military. I think this should be done, but certainly, not with Hasan running it. One report is he's paralyzed from legs down. I just don't want to see him get any veteran
benifits, and not sure how paralyzed prisoners make it, but a quick swift execution like Bill Clinton promised on the OKC bombing terrorist, shouldn't upset liberals. He was a whitie, so racism shouldn't come into play. It's better for his victims and their families. Better, yet, send Hasan to Afganistan with a suicide bomb jacket in a sandy area, and click a button, since he was harrassing our young soldiers with such propanganda. Also, they need to check on every patient he saw, as he may have made them suicidal. !!!!

Yes, JimWilson, God Bless Sue Myrick.
I'm having difficulty with my computer and couldn't copy/paste the vote link to send to others, nor can I find her official site,
Saw alot of b.s. that against her saying that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is funding terrorism, and that is just the absolute truth, as the FBI across the country has informed Washinton D.C. starting in June 2008, but it's been hush, though I saw where she is pushing for a Congressional Investigation. These things are so much more important than gay issues, global warming, and stupid things the liberals are putting as priority. If you could post her link.

The body count is up. 13 dead & 46 shot. Terrorist sent to Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio TX " for his protection ".

An officer doctor that took a military class on environmental issues, said that when Hasan gave his presentation, he said the war against Islam was wrong, and though some in attendance asked what that had to do with the environment, the brass did nothing and let him continue making Anti-American statements. And that one reported him as a ticking time bomb, and that Hasan said he hated America.

And then at a Behavioral class he gave, he said that suicide bombers were doing the right thing, still brass did nothing.

A former JAG officer said the political correctness has really tied the hands of the military. There are a little over 3000 muslim's in the U.S. military.

Then they interviewed NY muslims celebrating the Fort Hood terrorist attack, and that what Hasan said was that terrorism was good. And the evil muslim terrorists were really evil, and saying things towards Obama I'd not repeat (I'm not a muslim just a conservative) and police didn't do anything.

And the officer asking to use a neighbors computer on occasion and he gave it to the FBI. And right before he committed his muslim act of terrorism he had a muslim dressed, heavy eye-browed visitor. And he face showed he was calm and seemed to enjoy shooting and killing innocent Americans.

Thank GOD for Rep. Sue Myrick of North Carolina

Myrick wants to focus on Muslims in the military

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - U.S. Congressional representative Sue Myrick (R-NC) is weighing in about Muslims in the military after a shooting at Fort Hood left 13 dead and nearly 30 hurt.

Charged in the case is a life-long Muslim, Army Major Nadil Malik Hassan, who was said to have opposed the war in Iraq and Afghanistan before allegedly going on the shooting spree.

Myrick, in her words, believes it's time to stop being politically correct, because she's worried about Muslims infiltrating the military.

"I really and truly feel very strongly that we've got to look at this in a different light," Myrick told WBT News Friday morning. "And we've got to look to look at the breakdown between our intelligence in this country and the military, because this isn't the first time this kind of thing has happened in the military."

Oh, there is also a poll:

U.S. Representative Sue Myrick (R-NC) said Friday that she is "very concerned about infiltration into the military" by Jihadists. Should we be worried about such a scenario?

Yes
No
I'm not sure

The thing that the AP and other left-leaning news organizations do not understand is this: when Hasan decided to shoot the bodies of his fellow military men, he was screaming "Allah Ahkbar." The statement is both a declaration and a threat to all of the non-Muslims in his scope. It is a statement of hate toward the "infidels" at his mercy, and it shows a strong link between Islam and the rampage.

The AP seems afraid to lay out this information because readers might draw a conclusion contrary to the politically correct. If yellow journalism is the deliberate exaggeration of fact for emotional effect, then politically correct media is certainly its distant cousin, for it manipulates or hides facts in order to prevent a readership from coming to untoward conclusions.

Violence must be analyzed within the context of its psychological, moral, intellectual reasoning. Rarely are violent humans mere automatons without rationale. The Muslim man who killed 11 soldiers and injured 30 more did so while screaming the name of Allah; his hatred of the West and the lives of non-believers stemmed from contemporaryIslamic thought. Emotional stress was merely the catalyst for expressing his hateful religion in physical terms.

I am tired of liberal activists deriding those who see the negative aspects of Islam as racists or radicals. Would they take a similar approach to someone who opposed the Inquisition, or the Japanese kamikaze, or even Hitler's army? To point out violence does not make one violent. To condemn hate among a certain group does not make one hateful. A philosophy is a moral framework and religious or not, Islam is not exempt from such a debate. Since the majority of those who believe in Islam have the same supremacist political aims as other political ideologies, such as Marxism and Communism (in this case worldwide submission to Islamic law - theocracies), Islam must be critiqued by everyone who is at risk from its aims. These conflicts are nothing new. Human societies are not a vacuum and value systems are always in competition. Only today has it become difficult to critique bad ideas, due to the influence of political correctness and anthropological relativism by the left. Every culture is unique and it no one is better than another. Even the ones that covet he phrase "Allah is great" for killing sprees.

Shame on the AP. Shame on all who ignore a growing threat to our people and freedom itself. Islamic morons are not a skin color or a disadvantaged minority group - but men who loathe anyone who is different.

Muslim whack-job who hates Christians......period!

The Disaster at Ft. Hood Army Base in US Raises Critical Concerns

by Tawfik Hamid
www.TawfikHamid.com

Early Thursday afternoon an Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan M.D., an American Muslim who counsels troops, opened fire on an unarmed crowd at Fort Hood Army base in the Texas. According to officials, 13 people were killed and over 30 wounded. Before he killed his fellow human beings, Hasan made the comment "Allah Akbar", which is Arabic for "God is great!"
This horrible event raises some vital issues with the teachings in Sharia Law, the blame Muslims place on westerners for linking violence to Islam, and numerous decision makers not focusing on the main cause of Muslim violence.

When Sharia Law teaches disrespect for Non Muslims' life, how can we be surprised to hear about a dedicated religious Muslim follow such teachings and commit barbaric acts against Non Muslims? Islamic Sharia, available in mainstream Islam jurisprudence books (such as Fiqh Us-Sunna for Sayiid Sabeq and many others jurisprudence books), promotes that the punishment for killing a human being "Dheia" is less in cases of killing a Non Muslims than in cases of killing a Muslim. In fact, (according to Sharia Law) if Non Muslims refuse to pay the Jizzia (humiliating tax) or convert to Islam they should be killed (after Muslims offer the former 3 options to them). Can we expect the outcome of such teachings and interpretations to produce anything but violence and disrespect for human life?

After this attack Muslims must stop blaming westerners who link Islam to violence. Thousands of terror attacks all over the world, including Sept. 11, beheadings in the name of Islam, and many other barbaric atrocities were conducted commonly by people who are identified as Muslims. It is virtually impossible to stop people from linking violence to Islam unless violence in the name of Islam stops. Instead of continuing to blame the West for "Islamophobia" and for linking violence to Islam, the Muslim world should work on changing itself to stop producing generations that accept violence as integral parts of their religious teaching (Please see my ABCs test for Radical Islam (See next block).

There is a tendency among various decision makers to discuss why some Muslims turn to the use violence while others do not, considering Muslims are exposed to the same religious teachings. This approach may theoretically allow decisions makers to avoid addressing the role of religious teaching as the true cause of the problem and allow them to focus instead on the individual factors that make a particular person use violence. In this regard, I would like to mention the following illustrative example: Some decision makers have a tendency to discuss why some Muslims turn to violence while others do not, when they are exposed to the same religious teaching. This approach may allow decisions makers to avoid addressing the role of religious teaching as the true cause of the problem and to focus instead on the individual factors that make a particular person use violence. In this regard I would like to mention the following illustrative example: When people smoke cigarettes only some of them develop lung cancer. This does not mean that smoking is not a main cause of lung cancer. The same applies to Islamism phenomenon. When Muslims are exposed to the radical Islamic teaching, only some of them become violent. This also does not mean that the teaching is not the cause of developing the violence. The most simple solution for the problems in the previous examples is simply to limit the exposure to the offending agent (either smoking or to the radical teaching) rather trying to change the response of the cells or the humans to the causative agent. This can happen in Muslim societies by providing them with an alternative to the radical teachings to promote values of love and peaceful coexistence instead of hatred and intolerance.

If I could make a suggestion to the senior officials in the Military, Intelligence, Home Land Security, and others, I would tell them to learn how to detect early signs of Islamic Radicalization among their employees in order to take appropriate measures before radicalization manifests. Failure to do so or learn these signs can lead to a disaster inside the US, especially if Islamic radicalism appears in facilities that deal with radiological or biological material or weapon.

The American investigators of the Fort Hood case who will interrogate the suspect must be fully aware he may practice "Tequia" (Lying to Non Muslims), or he may pretend to have a psychiatric disorder to avoid punishment. The latter can be a very viable option for a trained psychiatrist who knows the symptoms of psychiatric disorders. Relying predominantly on the suspect's words to understand his motives for doing his crime can be completely misleading in such a case.

We need to address in an honest and scientific manner the different dimensions of the problem of Islamic Radicalism and to be able to understand its dynamics, root causes, and devastating consequences. In addition, using proper strategies to deal with the phenomenon is imperative. Failure to do so can end in disastrous consequences.

The Disaster at Ft. Hood Army Base in US Raises Critical Concerns

by Tawfik Hamid
http://www.TawfikHamid.com

Early Thursday afternoon an Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan M.D., an American Muslim who counsels troops, opened fire on an unarmed crowd at Fort Hood Army base in the Texas. According to officials, 13 people were killed and over 30 wounded. Before he killed his fellow human beings, Hasan made the comment “Allah Akbar”, which is Arabic for “God is great!”
This horrible event raises some vital issues with the teachings in Sharia Law, the blame Muslims place on westerners for linking violence to Islam, and numerous decision makers not focusing on the main cause of Muslim violence.

When Sharia Law teaches disrespect for Non Muslims’ life, how can we be surprised to hear about a dedicated religious Muslim follow such teachings and commit barbaric acts against Non Muslims? Islamic Sharia, available in mainstream Islam jurisprudence books (such as Fiqh Us-Sunna for Sayiid Sabeq and many others jurisprudence books), promotes that the punishment for killing a human being “Dheia” is less in cases of killing a Non Muslims than in cases of killing a Muslim.

Instead of continuing to blame the West for “Islamophobia” and for linking violence to Islam, the Muslim world should work on changing itself to stop producing generations that accept violence as integral parts of their religious teaching (Please see my ABCs test for Radical Islam (See next block).

The American investigators of the Fort Hood case who will interrogate the suspect must be fully aware he may practice “Tequia” (Lying to Non Muslims), or he may pretend to have a psychiatric disorder to avoid punishment. The latter can be a very viable option for a trained psychiatrist who knows the symptoms of psychiatric disorders. Relying predominantly on the suspect’s words to understand his motives for doing his crime can be completely misleading in such a case.

Want a sobering comparison? Watch the first video and see our CinC joke and meander for 3 minutes and then FINALLY get into his remarks on the terrorist act that killed 13 uniformed service members. Then watch the second video of our previous CinC addressing the nation after the death of 7 service members. So glad that we now have a president who is so eloquent especially when it matters.

Bush on Columbia Shuttle: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2o_6LeLxjC4
By the way, since when is Obama using podium notes instead of telepromters? He looks even more uncaring having to look down every four words to remember his speech expressing his "heart felt" sympathies.
