AP Calls Illegal SEIU Hirelings ‘Activists’

From a discreet Associated Press:

N.C. activists plan Washington rally against health insurers

RALEIGH, N.C. — Scores of state workers are taking a bus from North Carolina to Washington to join a rally protesting insurance industry opposition to overhauling health care.

Members of the State Employees Association of North Carolina are leaving Raleigh before dawn on Tuesday to demonstrate at an annual health insurance industry conference in Washington.

A coalition of labor unions and activist groups organized the protest at the same time President Barack Obama is raising his attacks against insurance companies.

Obama this week launched a last-ditch effort to get the public and congressional Democrats behind his health overhaul legislation.

SEANC’s 55,000 members are affiliated with the Service Employees International Union, though North Carolina law bans labor deals with public employees.

So an illegal union is pretending to be a ‘grassroots’ group in order to protest those evil insurance companies.

Never mind that their parent union,  the SEIU – like the UAW before them – has a healthcare plan that is underwater and needs a government bailout just like the UAW got.

It’s not ‘astroturfing’ for special interests. Not at all.

By the way, if insurance companies are so damned criminal, why are we going to be fined if we don’t buy insurance from them?

Doesn’t that make the government an accessory to their crimes?

Mrs. Pelosi, this what is known as “Astroturfing” incase you were looking for the real meaning of the phrase. What I want to know is how many of these public employees are still geting paid for “working” today.

What times are we living in that this statement in a regular media outlet’s report doesn’t even raise an eyebrow. This is the most horrific thought I have had today.

Treason doth never prosper: what’s the reason? Why if it prosper, none dare call it treason.

SEIU will succeed until it is called by its rightful name … domestic enemies.
