"Imagine if she were pro-choice still, the msm would have her weigh in on each and every SCOTUS Justice choice."

Great point.

Speaking of Norma McCorvey, the press and academia cares little about her now. I remember the first time I heard that Jane Roe had switched sides and was an ardent pro-lifer--I had to check Snopes. I thought surely this sort of thing would make front-page news, considering it is undeniably the most well-known SCOTUS case of our times and one of the most divisive and defining issues of our time.

"And yet Code Pink is such a small group of ubiquitous harridans that surely by now even our oblivious watchdog media must know them each by name."

They do, they learned their names when they were giving them press passes to get into the events. Ms. McCorvey unfortunately had to sit in general admission.

"And will a member of the committee pay the abortion protesters fines, as Mr. Conyers and others are wont to do for Code Pink?"

That's assuming they get fines. They'll probably get exiled.

[From the Associated Press:]

<blockquote><strong>Abortion protesters, including Roe v. Wade plaintiff, arrested at Sotomayor hearing
</strong>

LARRY MARGASAK | Associated Press Writer July 13 2009

WASHINGTON (AP) — The plaintiff in the landmark abortion-rights case Roe v. Wade, who became an abortion protester in recent years, was among four demonstrators arrested Monday for disrupting Sonia Sotomayor's Supreme Court nomination hearing...

I saw this live on tv, and I could barely hear the protestors as Franken kept talking til Leahy interupted. Sotomayor looked startled then angry. The camera showed approx 10 people, quietly and peacefully were escorted out. I didn't see the 2nd group. At least Ahmadman's BBF didn't have them shot. But, the irony is this was Obama's style in protesting with militant blacks. He brags that when they were getting on the bus, one of his fellow protestors said "Obama's Army", and Obama answered "Right".
