Tonight Obama will show the world how many times he can say "uh-uh, well, err,uh", get creamed in the debate and tomorrow's headlines will read like this....

American Pravda (AP) - Obama shows he is Presidential.

Al Reuters - Obama shines in debate while McCain stumbles.

NY Times Editorial - Obama shows he is ready to lead and McCain is ready to retire.

ABC/WaPo Poll - Out of 300 registered voters surveyed after the debate, 93% said Obama was the hands down winner in last night's Presidential debate.

(250 Democrats, 40 Independents, 10 Republicans comprised the poll)

Chris Matthews - I had major tingles down both legs as Obama outflanked McCain with his superior wisdom and intellect

Howard Dean - YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

"wardmama4" you are so right on target with the treatment John McCain can expect tonight...I really do hope Obama and his ally moderators try this though...It's time for the real John McCain to look the camera in the eye and expose the community organizing fraud for what he is... he needs to articulate what truly happened in Washington this week, and how we got to this point in this bailout mess, and ask Mr. Condescending Obama if his party has been honest about the intended use of their bill...saving their butts, their lobbyist buddies (same thing) and funneling money to ACORN to defraud another election like they've been convicted of in the state of Washington!

At this moment - the House Republicans are standing firm and the Dems and their propaganda wing the msm, are doing everything possible to bury this issue (it blew up in their face - I hear as high as 95% of Americans are against the bailout) and of course to delay/prevent any meaningful investigations (because then the blame will be properly laid on the liberal Dems) and of course to hide attempts to pad this idiotic mess with pork & earmarks (ACORN, college loans, credit card loans, etc) - bet the Dems attempt a dark of night, backroom deal, no debate vote at 2AM Sunday.

And of course, to all of us who have functional brain cells (and use them) it belies the true lie here - that the Dems have a majority in Congress and that the majority of Dems/Americans support what they are doing. If that was true wouldn't this pack of garbage already have been a done deal?

Who gives a dippy dappy crap about a staged event with Obama getting questions like - What was Africa like when you visited there? And McCain will get questions like - How can someone associated with the Keating 5 scandal be trusted on the bailout vote?

Or some such nonsense. Any way you cut it - it will be a distorted, twisted waste of time. One thing I have to give to the Saddleback Forum - there wasn't any of this msm, 'pundit' crap and dazzle done. Same questions - vastly different answers.

It is so aggravating to watch all these Dems, who are responsible for so much of this mess, if not all of it, pass the blame.

They have the votes, so vote, and stop blaming Republicans for your lack of leadership, and gumption. Stop praising Obama for doing nothing more than sitting there, and saying....call me , if you need me. Which translates to...leave me out of it because I don't know what in the hell I'm doing.

Earmarks for ACORN? I do not want one damn dime of taxpayer money going toward that group. That would be a sin, and it ticks me off how $100 million would go to them, to benefit Obama. That's absurd, and how dare they even think that all tax payers would want that. Some of us want nothing to do with that fraud riddled group.

If this was such a crisis as Reid would lead us to believe, and other dems, then how did Reid have time to insert a new ban on going after oil shale? I cannot stand this man, and I hope he's ousted on his keester come his election time.

From Rep. Hensarling:

“House Republicans are extremely concerned about the state of our economy, the status of our capital markets, and how the problems of Wall Street are being assumed by Main Street. We all agree that doing nothing is not an option, but it is always more important to do the right thing rather than the quick thing.

“It is ludicrous to think that House Republicans are ‘holding up’ any sort of deal, as Democrats falsely claim. If Speaker Pelosi and Chairman Frank believe that the Paulson plan is the only plan that can save the American economy, they have a moral obligation and a duty to pass it. The Democrats are the majority party in the House, as I have been consistently reminded by Chairman Frank. The truth is that Democrats can pass the Paulson plan in an hour if they believe it is the right thing to do. That is their prerogative.

“House Republicans have made it clear that we want to fix this problem and we want to work to solve this crisis. We believe that there is a better way to do it, where we can help Wall Street workout of this crisis rather than forcing taxpayers to bail it out. If Speaker Pelosi and the Democrat leadership want our votes and our support, they should work with us just as we are attempting to work with them. We are defending the taxpayer and will continue to do so as we work toward solving this crisis.”
