WM, you make an interesting and glaring point. Whilst in the military (oh no…not another “war story”) I frequently ran into blacks who were arrogant, obnoxious and so overwhelmingly insecure that their presence permeated the room like a bad smell.

I recall one conversation I had with one fellow, who held the same rank as I. We were having a fairly decent time and I noted that because of his last name, it matched my mother’s mother’s maiden name and I wondered if somewhere our family lines had crossed.

As the conversation continued, I became curious as to what his heritage was and seeing as he had no qualms about my Scots/Irish background, I asked, “So what are you, arab? Or…something middle-eastern, perhaps?” as to me…he looked to have the features of a middle-eastern male.

His demeanor suddenly changed and the fun in our conversation turned to hatred. “I’m BLACK dammit” and he was furious.

Then I made my second “mistake” and said, plainly, “Look, ________, I don’t care WHAT you are. I simply assumed we’re friends and that stuff shouldn’t matter…I mean, it doesn’t matter to me in the least. You’re a person…I’m a person…we hold the same rank and so what?”

Well, the meaning of what I said was plain enough to me. I meant exactly what I said. But to him…it meant the following:

“You are such a typical white person. You fail to acknowledge my (people’s) struggle throughout the ages. You are a racist and a slaveholder. You like the confederate flag. You think all blacks are stupid and should be exterminated”

I realize the subtle nuance between what I said and what he understood can be difficult to discern but in later months, I simply laid it out for him. I said, during the course of yet another unpleasant exchange, “Look…you think I don’t like you because you’re black Fine. But the truth is that I don’t like you because you’re an asshole. So, now you have something to put in your pocket that you can keep.”

I remember it like it was yesterday. The guy turned me in to social actions and I repeated to them what I said to him. I have had supervisors that were of all races and both genders..and have supervised same. Never a problem. None…nada….zip. This clown comes along and because of his enormous insecurity, picks a fight with me.

And, noting MO’s stank-ass demeanor, it is obvious to me that I’m seeing the same thing again. The guy I had to deal with in the USAF was a USNA graduate, cross-commissioned into the USAF, was washed out of navigator school, then washed out of ground weapons controller school, was in constant legal trouble, with at least one time for stealing money and you would THINK that having been an academy graduate, he would at least realize that he had something going for him.

This same guy, in the middle of lunch at the O’club with all us lieutenants at the same table, stood up, positioned himself over me and almost yelled, “You will NEVER be as good as me at ANYTHING you ever do….do you understand me?!!!”

I quietly continued to eat my lunch and shake my head. I was waiting for him to hit me and then I would have him. But….that never happened.

However, with all that said…there are arrogant people of all stripes and they will utilize anything at their disposal to justify themselves. In this case…his being black was his excuse for why things didn’t go his way. Plus, he was internally very angry. I see the same things in Blammo’s overly aggressive mate.

And again, I have to ask, why are and what makes these people so angry? And I always come up with the same answer…that they realize they are short on talent and achievement.

In other words, they excel at being average or even slightly to significantly BELOW average in most things. They progress through life by “playing” people to get them to do what they want and when they run up against someone who, like me, won’t play their game, they try to find a way to destroy them.

And yes, that guy in the USAF did try….it backfired and he caught hell for it.

But then, that’s because the USAF is racist. Right?

How this woman can be so stupidly dressed (and one of my guilty pleasures is ANTM – so I do know the difference between the high fashion and stupidly dressed) and look so damn p’doff so much of the time is beyond me.

Catie – not only that your father came from that area – but damn it all – she grew up just like the rest of us did. Black, white – middle class or poor – we all came from families who did their best, struggled and if they were hard working enough had some good times – but to act like (I am going to assume here) that because she is black – she is the only person who grew up struggling and not liked (maybe MO, it’s your ‘tude not your color, on that one) is just so damn arrogant.

Why is it so many Liberal women are the ugliest, meanest, most nasty women there are? Now there is a research question for the ages.

Michelle Obama is a bitter and twisted Fugly (in Oz, Effing Ugly) that cannot hold back her jealousy and contempt, she is a true “Would Be if she Could Be” Just like the neanderthal cretin she is “married” to.

They will soon be erased from the Annals (in Obama’s case, the Anal’s, given his raging homosexual and drug-filled past) of History!!

By the way…I went back to the AP story via the link Steve provided and the AP had to go back to the beginning of April to get a halfway decent photo of her.

I thought she was so glamorous. If so seems that she would have had a more recent photo of glamorous self. LOL Does that mean she hasn’t worn anything “chic” in the last 3 months?
