Leave it to Steve to find dirt on Soros. I bet maybe 100 people in the whole country knew about this insider trading thing.

Until now. The world knows now. Nice job, SG.

The beauty of believing that "everything is relative" is that when the principle is applied to yourself or someone who you are sympathetic to, the principle is unwaveringly lenient.

He drugged, raped, and sodomized a 13-year-old girl and gave her "hush money" decades later so she would not press the matter.

There is a petition circulating in Hollywood to protest Polanski's arrest. Prominent actors and actresses such as Penelope Cruz have signed it. I wonder if they would be so high brow about the whole matter if they personally knew a young teenager who had been raped by man in his 40s?

"Human rights" on the left are rarely universal - liberals are often fixated on the "rights" of prisoners, child predators, Islamic terrorists (read: Lockerbie bomber), and other assorted criminals yet they ignore the rights of victims from those crimes.

No one is above the law, particularly in violent crime. No artist, intellectual, etc. should be treated with kid gloves - especially not if they rape kids.

If I remember correctly, Polanski is not just "charged" with raping a minor, he actually PLEAD GUILTY so he is a CONVICTED CHILD MOLESTOR. He then fled the US to avoid sentacing and incarceration.

So "nagging questions" be damned. the fact that this guys films have even been allowed to be shown on US soil is a disgrace and is indicative of where the real allegiances of Hollywood are at. Is there not some law in the books that make it illega to aid and abet a fugitive convicted felon? Would not the act of working with them to make movies and as such, make the convict uber wealthy in the process, thusly allowing the fugitive to avoid capture and extradition for so many years, be considered aiding and abetting? Should not the executives of every studio and production company that ever worked with him, and every actor and actress that ever worked with him, and every US government official ever involved as well, be arrested and tried for thier crimes?
