In retrospect, I am sure Mr Woodward can find work elsewhere. Certainly he’s already been fired and one can only hope that his conscience doesn’t call for him to “commit suicide” or write a retraction in tomorrow’s paper.

This might not be the perfect thread for this, and for now I have to be sort of vague …
I work as an editor, and I’m working on cleaning up a transcript of a public school event that is sponsored by a federal agency.
One of TOTUS’ cabinet members attended and offered welcoming remarks. In the near decade I’ve worked on this transcripts of this event, I have never read such politicized remarks directed at young teenagers. I promise to share those remarks once the transcript is published.
I am inclined to edit the remarks out, because they were totally off-subject, talking about TOTUS’ budget and plans for saving the nation, but I have asked the person who put together the event this year—a raging Dem—if I may de-politicize the transcript. Bet she tells me to leave the remarks as is.
I promise to share more when I can. Rush, if you are reading this, don’t talk about it yet!

Strange thing Obama said in a bizarre tone, (no teleprompter) at recent MO
townhall meeting, was that the one thing he was actually a conservative on, was children doing their homework. It was strange the way he said it, as if he disagreed on anything else that might be considered a conservative issue, and as if liberals don’t believe in making kids do homework. Also, there he is in a highschool, and he said after maybe 10 or 15 years of good service, a teacher should get a financial bonus of some kind. Course he also said bad teachers should be fired. All this after teachers unions supported him with out taxpayers money.

I do hope that he’s right. It does take a certain amount of character for a person to admit they were wrong. But if enough people start saying it, it becomes a “movement” and people start saying, “Oh I felt that way all along”.

Perhaps that’s one lie I could live with.

Honestly….the crap that’s in his brain comes unfiltered out of his mouth. I’m beginning to think that half the nation took some sort of pill that makes all the gray matter dissolve and replaces it with a microchip.

So now we have a $4 trillion deficit, that one’s all your doing Mr. President. ‘Number two, there is almost uniform consensus among economists that in the middle of the biggest crisis, financial crisis, since The great Depression, we had to take extraordinary steps.’ Yeah, like showing your fellow Americans what a bunch of controlling ***holes you and your party have become by seizing much of the private sector. I’ll be getting an annual refresher of the government at it’s inefficient best within half an hour. It’s time to renew my vehicle registration at the DMV and without fail I’ll be waiting in a long line and staring at the five open windows, wondering why the other five aren’t open. I’d have renewed it through the mail, but the DMV charges extra for that convenience.
