Obama’s dinasour suggestion box would only cost millions to enact, to create a committee to read them, more millions to implement them. Federal managers wil never suggest reforming the bonus system, cutting out bonuses.

This is all a smokescreen for the public, to make it appear
the Obama beast isn’t costing the fortune it is.

“…every government worker can submit their ideas for how THEIR agency can save money and perform better”…Maybe I’m being paranoid, but this seems sinister and nothing more than Big Brother. This administration is giving blessings to snitch. Further more, does it really end with federal agencies? Or will it be extended to the national workforce encompassing all employers? If O doesn’t like what he’s hearing is he going to send the Civilian National Security Force to “set things right”? This is some pretty scary stuff IMHO.

I’d like to suggest a rather obvious means of saving tons of money – the removal of TCO, Reid, Pelosi, Frank, Dodd, et al.
Imagine the trillions of dollars in savings possible!

Thanks for the laugh! Next up-Obama invents the wheel.
Even when I was in grade school many years ago we had a suggestion box. This clown invented it or so I am just now finding out. We’re so blessed as a nation to have this man in charge of our lives, he’s freaking brilliant.
OT: You know when I see this clown getting on and off Marine One or Air Force One, I want to puke. I felt the same way when Clinton was in and they’d show the same type of picture.

Good point, Pro. Doesn’t everybody know Obama has the formula all worked out? Or maybe not. Check out this quote from Dr. Greg Mankiw, a Harvard economics professor.

“To put those numbers in perspective, imagine that the head of a household with annual spending of $100,000 called everyone in the family together to deal with a $34,000 budget shortfall. How much would he or she announce that spending had to be cut? By $3 over the course of the year — approximately the cost of one latte at Starbucks. The other $33,997? We can put that on the family credit card and worry about it next year.”

That’s the amount of correction a $100 million savings equates to measured against Obama’s massive spending. That should give even the most economically-challenged tax-and-spender the hiccups.

A brilliant idea…..but this can go nowhere.

Since OLenin has ordered his entourage to find $100 million in savings already, the swamp of inefficiency has been drained.

Wow! Don’t get me started on this one. Let’s see,…term limits, caps on congressional salaries, eliminate bull**** agencies like the EPA, the NEA, do away with other redundant agencies like the ATF, etc. the list and ways are endless. To boil it all down into simplicity, slash the government until it’s not even a shadow of it’s former bureaucratic self. And as my old friend Victor from the Bronx would say: ‘Trow’ da bums out.’

If I may be allowed to continue the statement for him…..

“What we’ll do is, I’ll set up a comission to study the, uh, suggested, uh, suggestions, and then I’ll, uh, have the comission…..what I’ll do is require the comission’s report be printed in triplicate and, uh, also, uh, I’ll make it available on the presidential website. Going forward, I’ve, uh, directed Treasury Secretary Geithner to, uh, make all of the, uh, Treasury assets available to this critical endeavor. In order that this, uh, essential order of business proceed without delay, I, uh, have earmarked…..(earmarked=bad, set aside=good) er, no, make that set aside $5 billion of stimulus-package funds to avert a crisis of monumental proportions. And REALLY BIG ones, too.”
