Since the msm is a stenographer pool, and since still 70-some % of the country gets it’s news exclusively from the hollow-cheeked msm or the comedy shows that are extensions of the msm, they know they can say diametrically opposed things to different groups with impunity.

There are thousands of examples of it.

We smirk because it is so transparent, but from their perspective, the narrow portion of the country that pays attention is lost to them anyway.
