And one has to wonder in Arab countries where the muslims rule how do they meld their fidelity to the ’state’ with their fidelity to Islam? Yes I know that they are one in the same – except isn’t there a big ‘national’ identity also – or wouldn’t they all be muslim before being Saudi, Iranian, etc?

Yes, they seem more than willing to join together to fight the ‘infidel’ but if you look closely – they are not some melded pot of loving muslims – there is a lot of ‘national’ identity going on – so I guess that means that they aren’t good muslims.
