Assange Fans Hack Websites In Revenge

From a cheering Associated Press:

Hackers strike back to support WikiLeaks founder

December 8, 2010

LONDON (AP) — WikiLeaks supporters struck back Wednesday at perceived enemies of founder Julian Assange, attacking the websites of Swedish prosecutors, the Swedish lawyer whose clients have accused Assange of sexual crimes and the Swiss authority that froze Assange’s bank account.

MasterCard, which pulled the plug on its relationship with WikiLeaks on Tuesday, also seemed to be having severe technological problems.

The online vengeance campaign appeared to be taking the form of denial of service attacks in which computers across the Internet are harnessed — sometimes surreptitiously — to jam target sites with mountains of requests for data, knocking them out of commission.

The online attacks are part of a wave of online support for WikiLeaks that is sweeping the Internet. Twitter was choked with messages of solidarity Wednesday, while the site’s Facebook page hit 1 million fans

Per Hellqvist, a security specialist with the firm Symantec, said a loose network of web activists called "Anonymous" appeared to be behind the attacks. The group, which has previously focused on the Church of Scientology and the music industry, has promised to come to Assange’s aid by knocking offline websites seen as hostile to WikiLeaks.

"While we don’t have much of an affiliation with WikiLeaks, we fight for the same reasons," the group said in a statement on its website. "We want transparency and we counter censorship. … This is why we intend to utilize our resources to raise awareness, attack those against and support those who are helping lead our world to freedom and democracy."

It was not immediately clear which attacks the group was responsible for, although activists on Twitter and other forums cheered the news of each one in turn.

The website for MasterCard, which has said it will no longer process donations to WikiLeaks, was either down or sluggish early Wednesday. The company said it was experiencing "heavy traffic" but did not elaborate.

The website for Swedish lawyer Claes Borgstrom, who represents the two women at the center of Assange’s sex crimes case, was unreachable Wednesday.

Where is the outrage from the feminists around the world?

The Swiss postal system’s financial arm, Postfinance, which shut down Assange’s new bank account on Monday, was also having trouble…

Innocuous sounding terms like "hackers" and "activists" have been intentionally coined to trivialize the actions of these criminals. These people are saboteurs.

They do untold damage that costs millions of dollars and who knows how much wasted labor. Not to mention the lives that have been and will be lost thanks to supposed peace activists like WikiLeaks.

There is a reason that in times of war saboteurs are regularly shot on site.

Precisely. Where is NOW, CodePink, and the NAGS (National Association of Gals)? Are they going to stand by and let a sex criminal go unpunished? The answer is that the minute that happens, and women begin applying the same standards to rad-leftists that they do to conservatives, the entire ‘progressive’/Statist world coalition collapses. This is why they’ve been entirely silent about honor killings, female genital mutilation, and all the other misogynist horrors of Sharia Law and Islam.

The Anonymous are the grassroots guttertrash of mostly displaced “young” people (as in 20-40 year old children) from Left-Wing anarchist sub-cultures around the world. This demographic forms the base of the EU represented Swiss Pirate Party that. recently was offering aid to Julian. Their leaders are in prison over The Pirate Bay file sharing website, and you’ll find them mostly at 4chan now but they’re spread across the underbelly of all societies – especially the music/Hollywood cultures here in the US.

Nothing worthy of any publicity, just information from one kid who grew up in the digital gutters, for others to draw their own ideological and political conclusions. Total Internet “Freedom” is a cause that fit right into hyper-Leftist dogma from the beginning, the advantages to advocating it being twofold:

    – The mass distribution of private property isn’t just relegated to market goods but sensitive state and political information, as we’ve seen with wikicrap. This threat pushes nations towards having more closed, policed societies, agitating the Peasant Class towards the precedent of regulation rather than the actual danger of their criminal “heroes” like Assboy.

    – Once government’s inevitably have to respond to the national security threat of cyber warfare with some sort of net regulation, the foot is in the door for Big Sis or whoever to expand that precedent to all sorts of circumstances. I believe I’m paraphrasing Steve: “Internet terrorists are going to do to the net what they’ve done to airports.”

We’ve been tracking the Left’s war on political speech all year, well aware that the only way that they’re going to reassert any power and control – at least here in America – was they HAD to find a way to shut Conservatives up and blunt our organizational networking. Soros himself said it very plainly right around the election.

Anyway, it’s never been the information Julian released that worried me about the Wiki Theatre. It’s that this constituted the first effective public cyber-attack on the country (with which, even worse, our ruling regime was probably compliant), the consequences of which the Left is going to try and use to punish the country class.

As I wrote on my first profiling of Assboy when the arrest warrant was first issued:

“Spawn of the sludgiest gutters of the internet itself.” http://sweetness-light.com/archive/assange-calls-rape-charges-dirty-tricks#comment-186909

Of course, what is Leftism if Freedom to them is not the percieved literal right to “do anything you want, consequences be damned.”

Consequences are for the Ruling Class to determine, and if you’re one of their pet Assboy’s, then you’ve got full immunity along with near sanctificaton. Just you watch how the State media and authorities drag out everything from Julian’s extradition to trial for months on end, with cameras the whole way.

Rush suggested the other day that the purpose of Wikeleaks might be the cause celebre for our benevolent government to begin controlling the internet.

What amazing times we live in: exponential advances in computer power, virtual worlds, and robotics, converging from every direction. The opportunities are tremendous for those nations smart enough to seize them.

We’re passing into a new era of cyber-warfare similar to the 1400’s when guns and gunpowder became available to peasants. That bozo Robert Gibbs sounded like a feudal lord of the Middle Ages when he said – regarding Assange,”We shouldn’t be afraid of someone with a computer and a $35 web site…”

Yeah, and the knight in shining armor was laughing too, right up to the moment when a .60 caliber lead musket ball punched through his breastplate and into his heart.

Where’s Obama’s unprecedented White House elite Czar Kundra and his IT team who bragged of their skills. We never learned what happened to the Czar’s old partners arrested by the F.B.I..

My take on this is that there’s a big discussion to be had around the subject of transparency and freedom of information and an enormous discussion around the military’s sloppiness in terms of security, since apparently every low level tech guy had a shortcut to “Top Top Secret stuff” on his desk top (what, the US military sloppy and complacent? Never!). This Assange guy, though: have you ever seen a creepier, shiftier looking individual? He looks like Bill Mahr’s pervert brother. Would you let your kids get in a car with this man? No, me either.

“Hey, Assange! I want a word with you!”

“Oh hello Mr Neighbor: just let me turn on the tapes…there we go. Now, what can I do for you?”

“You can leave my son alone, that’s what you can do for me, creep”.

“Little Timmy? Oh, he’s such a lovely young fellow! So big for his age. Whatever can the matter be?”

“I don’t like you buying him ice cream and giving him presents, for a start. Like that pair of shorts…”

“Doesn’t he look darling in them? Those are Bavarian lederhosen. I sewed them from calfskin and lined them with velour to keep his little thighs from chaffing…OUCH! My eye! OOF! My nose!”

Top Secret is equivalent to Honest Politician.

You will know that they have hacked into an important stash of information when the Moron’s college transcripts are revealed or his grandfathers FBI file.

re Assange, there are creepier people, but you have to look to Congress for them: Drooling Barney, Maximum Waters, the Witch, Schumer (who may take the prize….what an incredible pervert that guy is), many more.

But one thing we can be confident of is that Maher will never have Assange on his TV show. That would be WAY too revealing. Generations would go barren just knowing there are 2 of them alive at the same time.
