Axelrod: Bombings Could Be Related To Tax Day

From the Weekly Standard:

Axelrod: Obama Thinks Boston Bombings Could Be Related to ‘Tax Day’

By DANIEL HALPER | April 16, 2013

In explaining why President Obama didn’t call the Boston bombings a "terrorist attack," former adviser David Axelrod said, "I’m sure what was going through the president’s mind is — we really don’t know who did this — it was tax day":

"The word has taken on a different meaning since 9/11," Axelrod said of the phrase "terrorist attack."

"You use those words and it means something very specific in people’s mind. And I’m sure what was going through the president’s mind is — we really don’t know who did this — it was tax day. Was it someone who was pro–you know, you just don’t know. And so I think his attitude is, let’s not put any inference into this, let’s just make clear that we’re going to get the people responsible."

Axelrod and the rest of Obama’s minions in the media are really pulling out all the stops to try to demonize anyone who might object to higher taxes.

Clutching at any opportunity, no matter how disgusting.

Hey, maybe the bomber was furious at Obama only paying a tax rate of 18%. Which is a lower rate than most school teachers pay.

How about Patriots Day or April Fools day or Groundhog Day or Mothers Day or
    President Day or ……..

Hey, I just had an idea! We have all these “days” in honor of
various persons, places, or things, and they really are
crowding the calendar. Let’s start having commmorative
‘nights’ say Roe vs Wade Night, Democratic Deal Night, or
maybe even Future Maternity Night (in December), or Postal
Service Appreciation Night to take some of the pressure off.
It wouldn’t cause problems by closing the Post Office or your bank.
Write your congress critter about this.

It is obvious to me that “those in power” already know exactly who is responsible for the Boston bombings.
If there was any doubt, the media would have been screeching about right wing radio, Sarah Palin cross hairs and the radical haters in the TEA party.

Any time an act of mass violence is perpetrated and the leftist elite refuse to call it a terrorist attack and claim they need to be cautious about blaming any one group, you know right away which group will ultimately be charged. To wit, the Times Square Bomber, the Fort Hood attack, in both cases, the media (and Obama) were quick to point out that it would be wrong to start making accusations before the evidence is in.
