Axelrod: You Don’t Play Golf In Bad Economy

From the Politico:

Obama plays 100th round of golf as president

By JENNIFER EPSTEIN | 6/17/12

CHICAGO — President Obama is spending Father’s Day in his hometown playing the 100th round of golf of his presidency.

After a late night at the wedding of senior adviser Valerie Jarrett’s daughter Laura

As even the Huffington Post noted, 200 policemen were assigned to Valerie Jarrett’s daughter’s wedding. While, Chicago has a higher homicide rate than Kabul.

[T]he president was out of the house just after 10 a.m. Central time for a round with frequent partners Marty Nesbitt, Eric Whitaker and Marvin Nicholson, the White House trip director.

Eric Whitaker is the man who gave Michelle Obama her lucrative no-show job, and who allegedly offered Reverend Wright $150,000 to clam up during the 2008 campaign.

Mark Knoller, CBS News’s longtime keeper of presidential data, says it’s Obama’s 100th round since taking office.

And the president picked a nice course — he’s playing at the historic Beverly Country Club the southwest corner of the city.

With that name, maybe Obama thinks he will meet some of his fellow celebrities there.

Meanwhile, the Daily Caller has published a video clip of David Axelrod, from 1994 (see above):

Flashback: Axelrod called Bush ‘out of touch’ for playing golf in bad economy

06/13/2012

Video from 1994 has surfaced of David Axelrod, President Obama’s chief campaign strategist, calling former President George H.W. Bush “out of touch” for “tastelessly” playing golf while trying to convince voters that the economy is improving.

“Bush tastelessly did it, often from the ninth hole, and from the cigar boat and other places,” Axelrod said.

Added the adviser: “The impression you got was that he was out of touch.” …

Axelrod explained in the 1994 interview that if “you cite these statistics that say the economy is improving, you almost do political damage to yourself.”

“If you stand up and claim great progress, you are only frustrating this alienated middle class more,” he said.

But that was then, and this is Obama.

That’s right double standards have nothing on the democrat party. It’s always what they say not what they do, how can we conservatives think that somehow things should be equal. We must bow down to their infinite wisdom of “If it feels good just do it”.

No irony here. Barry racking up his 100th round of golf on Fathers Day. A shining example of fatherhood for all dads to follow.

Honestly, is this a real presidency, or is this an article from The Onion?

Did to two muslims born Valerie Jarret’s daughter marry a muslim?

I want to know what the Obama’s ate at the wedding. I’m sure it’s things U.S. citizens are not allowed to eat.
Did Farrakhan do the service. Did the groom chase the bride and rape her as custom?

correction. Valerie Jarret’s parents were middle-easterners born. I assume she married a muslim, and so did her daughter marry a muslim? Good thing it was in the U.S. because in middle-eastern countries the radical muslims like to blow up weddings and mosques.

Wow, I wonder what kind of the veil the Jarret’s daughter wore. I don’t think she was able to lift it and kiss the groom. She sure better be a virgin. Wow. I wonder if Jarret’s doctor dad did mutilations of girls.
