Interesting video Steve. It does disprove ABC's and YouTube's assertion that the ducklings needed "rescuing."

(And yes, I still believe it's a staged event.)

I think you have something there Pro. LOL

Another thing, is the story said the ducklings hatched just that morning. Huh?
Our ducks lay an egg a day and once she has a clutch she sits on them. When it's time for them to hatch they hatch over several days. Not all in one day. That was conveinient wasn't it? Not only that it just happened to occur on the very same day and only a few hours from the start of the parade...and only after the parade route was being populated with parade watchers. What are the odds?

Sorry folks. My husband says I'm way too suspicious. LOL...But then he has to admit my "suspicious mind" saved his backside (and wallet) a few times. Obamly in power doesn't do for much to conjure much trust in me either.

I hate to lose focus on the evil of The Moron's nefarious overthrow of our country.

So, as I see this dangerously cute clip, the ducklings are obamabots, jumping off a ledge with no clue about what's below. The "banker" is an actor (Obamy) who is pretending to save the obamabots, even though we all know the event is staged and the fluffy little birds would survive the short fall anyway. Then the TMCC (The Moron's Criminal Cabal) stages an impromptu celebratory parade to ostensibly lead the ducklings to ultimate safety, but which we all know is staged to glorify the loving banker. Greek Colonades are omitted because, for this staged event, Obamy is pretending to be a man of the people instead of pretending to be master of the universe.

In the aftermath we don't get to see, the actors cook and eat the ducklings, who willingly jump into the boiling pot.

Wood Ducks (and maybe other species) do nest in trees:

YouTube - Ducklings Leaping From Nest Very High Up!

But I wouldn't be surprised if this did turn out to be somewhat contrived.

I agree.

I find it odd that a duck and its ducklings would find themselves on a narrow concrete ledge two stories up. Are we to believe a duck would nest so high up and far away from water? And where is the mate?

I also find it improbable that two cameras happened to be there at the precise time when the ducklings fell.

I bet this was all staged. After all, it's ABC and YouTube.

A real heart warmer and really cute. I love ducks but they are really dumb.

We have 5 ducks and 4 border collies that make for a lot of back and forth jabs at each other and they can be a source of a lot of laughter around here. The ducks are too dumb to realize the dogs could actually eat them. And the dogs are too dumb to realize the ducks don't have teeth.

But I do have a few questions about this particular situation. I first thought this must be an impromptu situation, because of the danger of the ducklings jumping off the roof. Then it dawned on me, there are parade barriers complete with a crowd (?) and a ready made sign (?). ummm...how odd.

NOTE: I found out why the parade barriers are there....a parade was already scheduled for that day. But it still doesn't explain the sign... :-D

Seems if they had that much warning they could have avoided the diving ducklings and just picked them up from the roof top it would seem.

Anyone have more info to explain the whole situation?

You know though, the duckings seem to remind me of the lib mindset..."if HE jumps, must be right...."
