Berlusconi Says The Left Has Uglier Women
From the officially biased BBC News:
Italy’s outgoing Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi (C) gestures as he talks to the new lawmaker of Forza Italia party and former television model, Mara Carfagna (R), at the Italian Parliament in Rome in this May 8, 2006 file photo.
Berlusconi: Left has uglier women
Berlusconi delights in the company of glamorous women
Italian opposition leader Silvio Berlusconi has claimed that right-wing female politicians are better looking than their left-wing counterparts.
Mr Berlusconi, the centre-right’s candidate in elections this weekend, was quoted as telling local media that the left had “no taste” in women.
The conservative leader has a long record of making outlandish comments.
His remarks provoked an angry reaction from the centre-left, which accused him of being sexist.
Mr Berlusconi was quoted as saying that when he looked round parliament, he found that female politicians from the right were “more beautiful”.
“The left has no taste, even when it comes to women,” the 71-year-old was quoted as saying.
Last year, Mr Berlusconi was forced to apologise to his wife for flirting with other women after she demanded a public apology.
He has promised to name at least four women in his cabinet if he is elected as prime minister for a third time.
He’s right, you know.
But isn’t it telling what our watchdog media decides to report to us.
Over the past couple of years Mr. Berlusconi has been cleared of all of the trumped up charges that have been leveled against him by the Italian media and the Communists (but I repeat myself).
He is now poised to once again be voted back into power — probably in a landslide.
But we seldom if ever hear anything about such mundane matters. Instead, we get stories like this. Or this from MINA:
Berlusconi: I am taller than Sarkozy and Putin
Wednesday, 09 April 2008
Leader of Italian Democratic Party, Silvio Berlusconi whose height often is made fun of in the media, says that he is taller than France’s President Sarkozy, as well as Russia’s Vladimir Putin, reported France Press.
“I am taller than Putin, and Sarkozy. I am the same height as Romano Prodi. I am 1.71m. I don’t understand why the papers draw me as a midget, while the others are with normal height.” said Berlusconi while making an election speach in North Italy.
According to Corriere Della Sera, Nikolas Sarkozy is 1,65m, Vladimir Putin 1.67m, Silvio Berlusconi 1.71m and Italian Prime Minister Romani Prodi is 1.74m.
Why is that?

Maybe it’s all in the attitude. Smiling :-) VS Scowling and Frowning :-(
The Liberals should have listened to their mothers when they were growing up…”if you keep making that face, it’s going to stick like that”. LOL

Berlusconi is right…and I’d take Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham or Kathy Ireland over Whoopi Goldberg, Dianne Feinswine or Hitlery ANY day of the week!

I have to say the man has an eye for the obvious.

Sharps Rifle
Great examples. When it comes to feminine beauty, “Whoopi Goldberg, Dianne Feinswine or Hitlery” take a recess. While my respect for Ann Coulter has everything to do with her honest wit, she is damn sexy to boot. IMO

I think he’s honest.

It is so bad on the left that the women have to kiss each other. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
For instance, Whoopi Goldberg kissed Joy Behar on The View this week.

I mean on Joy Behar’s lips, not on Joy Behar’s View.

Never mind him, check out Mara Carfagna to his left in the photo.
My first love was Italian. Badese & Scicilian. She showed me that my heart could still beat even after she tore it out of my chest.
And they can cook, too!
