I work in health care and have so for 39 years.
Medicare patients are shunned in our rehab unit.while Medicaid patients are welcomed.
Why ?
Because the payment on Medicare patients is so poor.

And we are going to put millions more into this plan ?

Including the illegals ?

We boomers are going to be handed some pretty big bills,because somebody is going to have to pay for this.

STOP OBAMA !

He is coming across like a spoiled brat. His eyes flash with anger when he disagrees with anyone who has
an opposite view.

TCO’s plan will not inflate the budget because of the savings offset in defense cuts.

This is incorrect — The Democrats controlled the Senate (barely) for two years during Bush’s first term, and the Democrats controlled the Senate and the White House between January 2007 and now.

And he is probably also counting cost reductions that he intends to dictatorially force on medical practioners. With his mafia accountants, he will be able to “prove” anything he wants to “prove” about health care costs.

But what will really happen is that doctors and hospitals will do one of several things:
- quit practicing medicine
- make up more bogus tests and procedures that they can charge for
- spend even less time with patients so they can produce more medical widgets per day
- game the system by prescribing services and medications that give them the best return on their effort
- become more “efficient” by cutting corners in every way possible

So this revenge-filled, murderous, criminally insane moron will turn the medical profession into a gang of Chicago thugs, or rather, the ones who haven’t already been turned by Medicare.

And the inevitable outcome is that the standards of medicine will decline precipitously, unqualified foreigners and dumbed-down citizens will begin taking those jobs (as they have in England and Canada), and of course…..

millions of people will die because of it.

Other than that, I have a lot of hope that the incompetant buffoon will be able to buck the trend of destroying the banks, destroying the auto industry, destroying the financial industry, distroying the mortgage industry, killing millions of jobs, dismantling our national security, and waving his ass in the air to our enemeis, and instread produce a wonderful health care system that will solve the knottiest problems ever encountered by mankind…….despite never doing anything successfullly in his life, besides flapping his lying jaws.

And the one reason they DO spend their taxes on that stuff is because they spent almost ZERO on a military budget…counting on the US to come to the rescue.

What he’s doing, I suspect, (and he probably half believes it himself) is comparing money that is spent via insurance premiums, etc throughout the private sector and comparing it against government controlled monies…which, by the way, is only a paper study at this point.

Not only must one think cynically when anticipating the cost of such an endeavor, but must also utilize existing models (medicaid, medicare) and think “worst case scenario”.

But eggheads and pansy pooftahs like Blammo never do. It’s all about feelings and getting the public to buy into it so when it all goes horribly wrong, he’ll say, “Hey look, I just did what the people wanted….it’s not my fault it’s poorly managed”. See, I’ve seen his ilk before and I quickly got used to the way they think.

Manipulative, evasive, never a straight answer and if you DO get a straight answer, it’s a lie, guaranteed.

This guy should never have gotten past the car-salesman gate.
