Biden: Everyone Guessed Wrong On Jobs

Biden says ‘everyone guessed wrong’ on jobs number

WASHINGTON – Vice President Joe Biden says "everyone guessed wrong" on the impact of the economic stimulus.

Biden says the economy was worse off than anyone thought when officials estimated the number of jobs that could be saved or created under the administration’s $787 billion stimulus spending.

Biden says White House economists used standard formulas to estimate that 3.5 million jobs would be saved or created under the plan Congress passed earlier this year.

Biden says money is flowing out of Washington to help states and cities build roads, hire teachers and update infrastructure. He promised 600,000 new jobs in the coming months.

This is the new era of personal responsibility at work.

By the way, isn’t it ever so reassuring to hear that Mr. Biden himself is personally supervising the stimulus spending?

    Clueless Joe Biden in action.

    During this time, last fall and early this year when the CRAP bill was being passed and money was being handed out like lollipops at a church fair, the CONSERVATIVES were saying not only “no” but “HELL NO”.

    Guessed wrong my lily-white ass.

    So where to now, Joe? You going to a meeting of the “Society of the Staters of the Obscenely Obvious”?

      Didn’t the Congressional Budget Office publish a report very early on, essentially saying that the stimulus would end up shrinking the economy from where it would end up, had we done nothing? Why is that report not being discussed anymore?

    GUESSED wrong? Nice. Why is anyone GUESSING!? Should have paid me…I could have “guessed” just as well as they did…for a lot less $$. Bet I would have come at least as close as they did.

    And this;

    WHO’s STANDARD? And just how to you figure out how many jobs you are going to “save”. I told my husband that I saved gaining those extra twenty pounds so I need a new outfit. He wants me to prove it.

    Shameless. Absolutely shameless.

    One thing is for sure: I am glad that all but 3 of the Congressional Republicans voted against the stimulus package. If we’d caved under the liberal guilt trip back in January, the Democrats would still be claiming it was a bipartisan mistake.

    Yeah, my doctor got a new scale and it had to be broken in to weigh me correctly. My wife keeps shrinking my pants in the wash.

    I gained five pounds last month but I could have gained ten so I’m entitled to two bowls of ice cream for dessert because next month I might lose weight or just gain 2 pounds.

    If there are twenty four hours in a day what’s with night time?

    Clear enough now?

    Silly me. I thought they had a plan!

    The voice and vision of truth and reality to B/S Biden and o-blah-blah: “Boys .. you’ve made a mess. The economy is trashed, American businesses are in upheaval, unemployment is higher than it has been in 25 plus years, … you’ve really screwed things up fellows!”

    o-blah-blah: “Ahhhhh .. that stimulus guess thing .. uhhhh .. that was part of the solution NOT the problem! Annnnd .. the next quatrillion we dump .. that’s what we have guessed will really put the icing on the cake. Sooooo .. ignore those silly facts that get tossed about so we stay stuck in the failed policies of the past. Ahhhhh .. we need to try failed policies of the right here and now! We’ve got to downsize this mess George Bush made by making it 42 times the mess.”

    Code for blaming Bush. No wonder we can’t teach children responsibility. The adults in charge (and I use the term adults loosely.) won’t practice “the buck stops here”. Of course, narcissists don’t make mistakes.

    Everyone guessed wrong on jobs, my…bleep. They flat out lied to push through “the one’s” socialistic agenda. This whole mess Oblabla’s made (Yes, you heard me correctly Mr. President, your mess.) may be at the beginning of biting him in his skinny backside. The people are not going to follow for long without work unless, of course, they are put on the government dole. (Maybe that’s the whole point.) Then the rest of us supplying the handouts will need to become pit bulls-some with lipstick.

    Guessed? This is just another example of total lack of accountability. I am sure if I told top management in my company that one of my projects failed becaus I guessed wrong I would certainly be rewarded with a foot in the ass. Most responsible individuals have plans based upon analysis of credible data. These clowns shoot from the hip, guess and destroy the lives of Americans without shame. It is time for a cleansing.

    Who does Smokin Joe think he’s kidding? At least be accurate and tell us the money is flowing out of the mints in Philadelphia and Denver. Until, of course, in a year or two when it will begin flowing from our paychecks in the form of massive tax increases.
