That will work for a while BillK….until those swat teams discover that taking fire from all sides by a fed up populace isnt so comfortable after all. The other thing is too, most members of SWAT arent exactly liberal leftists either….and convincing them to forcefully take other people’s weapons wont sit so swell with them either.

Remember….the left, the democrats, the socialists all hate the military, the police, or any authority other than their own. Those are the very people who will be tasked with disarming and angry public. It may look good on paper, but forcing real Americans to enforce socialist policies wont work in the long run.

Remember the Eastern Bloc countries? The population had just had enough. They said, “no more” and the entire Soviet Army was helpless to stop them. That is what is going to happen here, not some out and out civil war. The leftists have the hubris to think that they are in the majority. They arent even close. Americans will prevail. It will just take longer than it should.

Oh yeah, I like to think I will be in that .05%. In the factual history of things, people wont act until they see others acting on their behalf, or someone dear to them is killed or imprisoned. Once they see that these roaches can be stopped….the flood of support will be overwhelming, and being a liberal or a socialist will be a direct threat to one’s ability to stay alive.

I serve a warning to the entire batch of deluded morons who will willingly vote for this: do NOT wake the sleeping giant~! Once stirred and angered, there will be no limit to the wrath of those who will fight for their country. The one you are hijacking as we speak. No, it wont be easy. But we will prevail.

A SWAT team on your front doorstep would be enough for 95% of people to give up their guns, and the other 5% would be treated as “dangerous radicals” and their neighbors would help drag them away.

The Second Amendment is basically one SCOTUS decision away from applying to “well regulated militias” only and it being decided the founders meant today’s National Guard units.

Really, the whole concept is outdated. The military has lots of automatic weaponry and tanks; were the Revolutonary War held today a group of Redcoats with M-16s would take out the Minutemen quite handily.

Biden’s comment about the pending decisions necessary to handle the almost certain crisis, seems to me like he’s asking for a blank check. Martial law, 1st and 2nd amendment abolition, invasion of privacy, jailing conservatives for sedition, forced work-camps, or maybe he just starts bombing Israel to placate our enemies. Who knows, he hasn’t defined anything other than we’re in for change. That’s the only thing he’s said that I believe.
