Between the two, the only votes that they are going to get in Nov are those by Dem who always/ever vote Dem, blacks who always/ever vote black and of course the dead, illegal and felon vote - the few that manage to fall through the cracks - They must be really scared with the first debate coming up - as it will be Obama's turn to put his foot in it - wanna bet he tries to be wired?!? I’m still super concerned about the way McCain (spit) is refusing to play the part we scripted for him. Remember? He was going to be Bob Dole, only older and duller, and stumble through the campaign until 8.30 pm on November 4, when he’d deliver a gracious concession speech and go to bed. That isn’t happening!!! When I think about the damage being done to our beautiful narrative I just feel sick. This is like 2000 and 2004 all over again! 3. Our positive message about Sarah Palin hasn’t taken hold either. “Woman – Know Your Place” was our positive message of change but somehow it didn’t work – don’t ask me why. 4. “Troopergate” is our last hope but frankly, I can’t see the ordinary American people developing much sympathy for a state cop who abuses his wife, tasers his stepson, shoots animals out of season and threatens to kill his father-in-law without the help of a full on sympathy campaign from us. Can’t we make him more attractive somehow? Get him on The View to talk up his personal journey of self-discovery, how he overcame his personal demons, sincerely sorry, moving forward etc etc – the usual stuff. Let me know your thoughts. 5.
