Shocker: William Ayers Writes For HuffPo

Look who is now writing for Zsa Zsa Huffington’s execrable site:

President Select Obama’s education guru, the domestic terrorist Bill Ayers.

Isn’t that so naughty. (And so predictable.)

Mind you, only yesterday the Politico was just saying how the HuffPo was scooping the mainstream media.

How soon will it be before Mr. Ayers is working for the Washington Post or the New York Times?

(Thanks to David for the heads up.)

More material to compare the Ayers writing style with Obamy’s famous “auto-biorgraphy”

    • Steve

I have compared their writing styles, and I found them to be in no way similar.

Listen to Obama’s audio books. For better or worse he wrote/writes just like he talks. Or just read the excerpt from Ayers here:

Ayers: The Day I Bombed The Pentagon | Sweetness & Light
      http://sweetness-light.com/arc.....e-pentagon

Then read any of the excerpts posted here from Obama’s books, such as this one from “Dreams”:

What Do We Know About Abongo Obama? | Sweetness & Light
      http://sweetness-light.com/arc.....ongo-obama

They are not even slightly similar in style. That was yet another (preposterous) red herring.

And worse yet, it stole attention away from factual articles — such as the detail that Michele Obama had hired Ayers to speak (along with Obama) at the University Of Chicago:

Michelle Obama Had Ayers Speak In 1997 | Sweetness & Light
      http://sweetness-light.com/arc.....ak-in-1997

    • proreason

What about the reported style difference in self-indulgent autobiography I vs self-indulgent autobiography II?

      Were the styles similar?

    • Steve

      “Were the styles similar?”

I think they were very similar. Especially, considering the passage of time.

Again, the audio books really make this clear. In both recordings his words, his cadences sound like the words and cadences that Obama uses to this day.

For just a quick example, look at any Ayers book. He uses a lot of dashes. Dozens on any page. Obama doesn’t write that way — or talk that way. Whereas Ayers does.

The whole thing was preposterous anyway. Obama is far too proud to ever resort to a ghost writer. He thinks he is a genius, don’t you know.

    • Liberals Demise

Hitler too thought HE was a genius. Drove him to madness….that and the drip!!

    • proreason

I may have to go liberal on this one and ignore the facts. The concept of Ayers writing the first self-indulgent autobiog is just too delicious to give up.

And SG, please stop soft peddling Obabenstein’s ego. He thinks he’s a god, not just a genius.

By the way, there are some ads out that assert an IQ of 135 for the One. That would put him in the genius category of say, a high school science teacher.

    • 1sttofight

The only time my IQ was ever tested was when I started college.
They said it was 168, 3rd highest in school history.
So much for IQ testing. ;)

    • pinandpuller

Didn’t God have other guys write down his words? Um…uh…well…you know?

  2. gradstudent

    Pro,
I’ve noticed those ads…but I have also see some that claim his is around 118. My favorite is to see several Obama IQ ads with different numbers on the same page.

    • proreason

Who knows if the ads are true or not.

But I generally don’t attribute great intelligence to someone who can’t spit out a sentence without saying uh several times. If I was a liberal, I would convince myself that it was an indication of “studiousness”, but since I’m not, I think it’s a mark of ignorance.

In a nutshell, I think Obamy is a dolt, even by liberal standards. Anybody that swallows all that propaganda hook line and sinker doesn’t have the capability of thinking for himself.

  3. CGardner

“How soon will it be before Mr. Ayers is working for the Washington Post or the New York Times?”

Hey, let’s just be thankful that he’s not the Secretary of Education.

    • Chinnubie

Don’t kid yourself Obama admires the hell out of this guy. Arne Duncan is a puppet Bill Ayers is gonna control from his office at that college university in Chicago. Maybe I’m a little paranoid but just wait and see if Duncan continues his ideas of public education, because they are in direct conflict with the way Ayers thinks schools should be run. If we start to see a sudden change in the Education Department we’ll all know what is going on , but the MSM will be forever surprised or we’ll hear stories of how Duncan has come around to the proper way of thinking.

  4. An America hater joins an America hating publication, I’m shocked!!!! Shocked I am!!!!

  5. Barbie

Why isn’t this Bill Ayers coward in prison somewhere, waiting for his Saturday-night date?

    • proreason

“Why isn’t this Bill Ayers coward in prison”

Because by liberal standards, he isn’t a criminal.

Per Alan Colmes, “did he personally kill anybody”?

    • Steve

“Why isn’t this Bill Ayers coward in prison”

He beat one rap due to a technicality. The way the evidence was collected.

Coming out of the courtroom he chortled, “guilty as hell, free as a bird.”

  6. gradstudent

Did anyone see the Chris Matthews interview with Ayers? I caught a few minutes of it and I couldn’t believe my eyes…a liberal was actually attacking the scumbag over his terrorist acts. But of course, Ayers just turned on the rhetoric about it was “stupid” and the facts were quickly forgotten.

  7. VMAN

Do any of these 60s radicals have jobs besides college profs or politicians? These guys and gals get a masters or Ph D writing some inane crap and then they go to work for a college that makes up some dumb ass course of study that makes their thesis look like a work of genius. We ought to give them all $100.00 and tell them they have to start a business and keep it afloat for five years before they can go back to what they were doing and if they fail they can never go back. Oh wait they would just write for the Huffpo or some other piece of crap.

    • 1sttofight

The ones who cannot get a Fed Grant or get elected to a public office wind up as a journalist in the MSM.

    • Liberals Demise

VMAN….who do you think drove our gubbamint into the ground? The frickin’ hippies who didn’t trust anyone over 30. They became the “Establishment” and tore in down from the inside. The only thing I enjoyed from those times was the music and Free Love. We didnt have to wear a body rubbersuit with snorkel for a good time!!

  8. Faye

135 IQ, eh? Whelp – Obama’s not smart enough to know there aren’t 57 states that make up the country he’s “leading”, but yet he is smart enough to send his children to private schools rather than subject them to the moron factory of the public school system. I don’t think he should have any kind of say over education unless he’s willing to send his daughters to the same cesspool inner city public schools that get the most federal funding and taxpayer monies yet produce the worst test scores. Isn’t that what he says works? Mo’ money?

  9. jbharris

Huffington Post is not an America hating publication and what Bill Ayers did was a long time ago. He was wrong to do what he did. The U.S. should not have been in Vietnam or bombing Laos or Cambodia either. Two wrongs do not make a right. However, Bill Ayers is a productive member of society. He is a professor at a university in Chicago. The Bill Ayers of today is not the Bill Ayers of yesterday. He is not the Bill Ayers of 1969-70. He is a changed man.

I was a radical Marxist at one time. I knew who Bill Ayers was before anyone else knew of him. I have also since changed. People can and do change. I am more a liberal Democrat. I more center-left. You have to work with the system if you want to change it.

    • JohnMG

Here’s a news flash for you, Harris.

If Bill Ayers is ever anywhere near where I can reach him while standing on the American flag, I will personally show “Mr. productive member of society” the error of his ways. And if you really believe what you spew here, you’re too pathetic to draw further response. Piss off!

  10. sheehanjihad

If the Huffington Post is not an America Hating publication, then I submit that the people who post on it are. Only Daily Kos and Moveon.org spew more vitriolic hatred, and since I see your post here, that is something you wont see on HuffPo, because ANY dissenting opinion is “held for consideration” and the attempted poster subsequently blocked from ever posting again.

Bill Ayers is a domestic terrorist. Notice I didnt say was, he IS. His unrepentant arrogance for killing and destroying in the name of HIS agenda still resonates for those of us who experienced his Weather Underground years. His productivity to society consists of radical leftist views still, and his free pass from his murder of the policeman so many years ago wont phase the “students” he continues to brainwash with his radical views.

Bill Ayers is not the Bill Ayers of yesterday, no, he cant be. He has the ability to infect young people with his leftist views with impunity, and thus has no need to create bombs and terrorize the public at large. He has it made, thanks to the liberal take over of every institution of higher learning in the country. He has grown older, but he has never grown up.

Some people carried the North Vietnamese flag in support of that communist government, while others took down that flag and replaced it with the Stars and Stripes. The debate on Vietnam being right or wrong will continue for decades, but back then, there were choices…you supported the enemy and assisted their cause by derailing everything possible from within with Marxist subversion, or you supported your country even when it wasnt the “popular” thing to do because you were an American.

I knew who Bill Ayers was before he ever made his mark on society too, and I know what he did, and what he caused to people who were just doing their job. You may have been a radical Marxist at one time, and you may have changed. But you most likely didnt kill anyone, or blow up police stations or buildings in an attempt to foist your beliefs on the population by force of terror. While people can and do change, Bill Ayers hasnt. His destruction of society now is disguised as “teaching” and he again gets a free pass to tear our society apart from within.

While its true that you have to work with the system to change it, what we have now is a new radical left who is working WITHIN the system to replace democracy with socialism, and our new domestic terrorists are “elected” to office, and thus are free to continue to destroy our society at will. Huffington Post’s archives are chock full of examples of the virulent hatred of America. I read them, and since myself and a lot of posters here are banned from offering a rebuttal or dissenting opinion because of our viewpoint, there will be scarce examples of non hatred for you to use.

Your post is still here. It offers a pseudo apologistic portrayal of a man who is still working night and day to change society to fit his agenda. Your post hasnt been removed. Notice that the next time you condemn anyone here for their views. The same cannot be said of the one side only HuffPo. The only productive anything that Bill Ayers offers society now is graduates filled with his version of how a society should be. He is still a domestic terrorist, he still could give a damn about killing and destroying, and he is still “guilty as hell, free as a bird”.

  11. jbharris

JohnMG, Bill Ayers never, ever stood on the American flag. However, flag desecration is a form of free speech and expression. Now, I disagree with that form of protest because there are other ways of protesting. I also do not think that a person should have a right to burn or desecrate a symbol of their nation.

To Sheehanjihad, no I never blew up police stations or killed anyone to force my beliefs on anyone else. However, when I was a radical Marxist, I sympathized with the Weather Underground, FALN, Assata Shakur, Fred Hampton, PLO, IRA and other radical organizations because I felt that it was right to raise arms to fight against an unjust system. Now, yes, I have changed and I realize that you have to work within the system to change it.

However, Bill Ayers is getting blamed for a lot of things that he never did. He did not kill twelve police officers. Also, there is no evidence of him doing a lot of these things and that is why he was never charged. Now, I do not condone what he did. However, he is a productive member of society and people should leave him alone. He is no longer the same person he was back in the late 1960′s or 1970′s.

  12. jbharris

JohnMG, you did not fight for the American flag. You took an oath to defend the rights of all Americans and as long as flag desecration is legal, then an American has a right to desecrate it or do with it as he or she wishes.

I am not saying that flag desecration is right or wrong, it is still legal and if a person wants to purchase an American flag to desecrate then that is their right. I disagree with it. But, I am not going to beat the crap out of someone because they did it. However, if you feel that it is so wrong to desecrate an American flag, then write your Senator and Congressman and ask them to help pass a law protecting the American flag and I guarantee you that the ACLU will do something to put a stop to it.

They should have passed a law a long, long time ago to protect the American flag from desecration. They did not do this and that is why people do it. There are other ways to protest what is wrong with this country or with the world.

    • JohnMG

I took the oath to protect and defend the Constitution, not the flag. (It’s a real shame schools don’t teach Citizenship any more.) That includes your right to come here and show your ignorance, thank you.

Ayers did/does stand on the Flag. Go into the archives here on S&L to see a picture of him doing just that.

Finally, that must be some gooooood sh*t you’re smoking for you to say something like …..”write your Senator and Congressman and ask them to help pass a law protecting the American flag and I guarantee you that the ACLU will do something to put a stop to it…….”

If you knew ANYTHING about the ACLU, you’d know they are a front organization for the CPUSA. Show an example of one lawsuit they’ve pressed that didn’t threaten to destroy the Constitution from the inside out. You can’t. But then, why would a ‘reformed Marxist’ know anything about stuff like that.

As I’ve said elsewhere, and what you’ve just posted proves, you have no credibility on this site.

      You’re a moonbat! ;-}

  13. jbharris

JohnMG, Bill Ayers never recently stood on an American flag. He is a productive member of society and when I meant that the ACLU would do something to stop it, I meant that they would do something to stop Congress from passing a law banning flag desecration.

Most people who desecrate the American flag are angry at what is going on in the world or what their government is doing. They do not necessarily hate America. Bill Ayers did not hate America. He was angry at our country getting involved in a senseless war in Vietnam and our country killing and bombing innocent civilians just like we are doing now in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am angry at what America is doing in Iraq or Afghanistan and yes, I protested against the war at protests. However, I also voted. I did not blow up a police station or a national guard armory. I voted. I voted for the candidate that will get us out of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and will restore our good standing in the world and that man is Barack Obama.

  14. jbharris

Well, JohnMG, you seem to let it upset you that apparently Bill Ayers stands on the American flag. So, why don’t you write your Congressman and Senator to ask them to pass a law making flag desecration illegal?

Also, the ACLU is a group of lawyers that defend the civil liberties of Americans. They are not a front for the CP-USA. The ACLU has never filed any lawsuits that have threatened the constitution from the inside out.

    • JohnMG

Well, which is it, genius? Did he stand on the flag on 9/11 when he said he wasn’t repentant for his activities with Weather Underground? Or did he never recently stand on the flag?

As for your assertions concerning the ACLU, you are totally, completely wrong–or in denial.

      Finally, this’ll probably get me scrubbed from this site, but here goes;

You cannot disprove what I’ve said. You’ve completely contradicted yourself on several occasions today alone. When faced with your own outrageous statements you change the subject. You don’t upset me, you nauseate me. You withdraw from the bank account of great liberties provided by the most generous, free nation on the planet without ever once making a deposit. You claim the liberties for yourself that you would readily deny for others, the same others responsible for you having them in the first place. Though you aren’t worthy of them, I continue to defend your right to trash those same liberties.

No, you don’t upset me, you actually amuse me. Most people wouldn’t readily expose such character flaws as yours, believing them to be admirable character traits. But then again, you’re obviously not like most people. You’re an absolute, fucking moron. Do yourself a favor and seek some professional help.

      Oh…..and have a nice day. ;-}

    • Liberals Demise

What color is the sky in your world?

  15. 1sttofight

It is a full moon . Moonbats are flying high.

  16. jbharris

You know what, JohnMG, I could care less if Bill Ayers stood on the American flag on 9/11. It does not affect me. He had a right to do it. I could care less if Bill Ayers stood on the flag.

    • DEZ

Good Lord, jb why don’t you and Ayers just get a room already.
John is correct that Ayers stood on the flag recently and there are photographs of him doing so on this very site, and your right, he has the right to stand on that flag.
We on this site have the right to expose the SOB, to hate the SOB every bit as much he hates America.
As for Ayers changing, BS, read what the thus has recently written.
He is complicit in the murder of one police officer.
Several of his darlings blew themselves up making bombs (Damn that was a good day) And when he says they just intended to cause property damage is also BS, those bombs were packed with nails.
You haven’t changed either, you still sympathize with a known terrorist.

    • JohnMG

      Here’s a sample, peckerhead.

First you say that you don’t agree with that type of protest, and now you say you could care less. I guess in your world that isn’t a contradiction.

Like I said before, you’re a f***ing moron, but please carry on. These guys are just warming up.

  17. jbharris

The sky is cloudy and overcast today, Liberals Demise.

  18. jbharris

I also did not contradict myself, JohnMG. I stated that hate groups have no right to preach hate. Hate speech is not free speech.

  19. 1sttofight

    jbharris,
I have a question for you.

What have you ever done for the USA?

  20. Gila Monster

    Jbharris states;

“JohnMG, Bill Ayers never, ever stood on the American flag.”

“JohnMG, Bill Ayers never recently stood on an American flag.”

    Well Jbharris, the truth is, Ayers did in fact recently stand on a US flag. He did it for some liberal news rag, although I don’t recall which one. The picture is here, second photo on the page;

    http://tinyurl.com/7l228x

    And no, it’s not a photo-shop.
Thats OK though, I’ve never known a liberal that let facts get in the way of a good rant.

  21. jbharris

JohnMG, maybe I do not agree with that form of protest. However, I do not hate the man either. I certainly do not want him beaten up for what he did.

To Gila Monster, I went to the URL and yes, there is the picture of Bill Ayers standing on the flag. I read the story. I have a tattoo of Che Guevara on my left arm. I like Che. Che was a man of humanity. Also, Bill Ayers has changed, Dez. I don’t care what any of you say.

I will also say this, the U.S. should not be in Iraq, Afghanistan, Colombia, Philippines or any other country. The U.S. has no business interferring in the internal affairs of other nations and that is why Bill Ayers is standing on that flag.

If you fought for Bill Ayers’ right to do what he is doing, then why are you complaining about it?

    • DEZ

Of course you dont care what we say, you dont care about facts either.
Your not only stupid, your smug about it.
      (hat tip to SG)

    • DEZ

*I have a tattoo of Che Guevara on my left arm.*

Just what kind of drugs was your mom using when she was carrying you?

    • Liberals Demise

NOW….I know why lions eat their young!!

    • The Redneck

–I like Che. Che was a man of humanity–
Yeah, Che loved humans. He loved ‘em shot, he loved ‘em stabbed, he loved ‘em hung, he loved ‘em raped….

–Also, Bill Ayers has changed, Dez.–
Yeah, now he wishes he’d planted more bombs.

We fight for Brittney Spears’ right to have 55-hour marriages, the right for the Backdoor Boys to produce albums, and the right of Micheal Moore to keep living. That doesn’t mean we like it, but rights extend beyond what we like and don’t like.

  22. jbharris

Look at what the U.S. did in Vietnam. The U.S. turned Vietnam into a bloodbath. The U.S. used napalm, agent orange and white phosphorous on the Vietnamese people. The U.S. murdered innocent civilians at My Lai in 1969. The U.S. uses white phosphorous on the people of Iraq and Afghanistan. White phosphorous burns the skin off of people. This is cruel and inhumane. Then you all wonder why people voted for Obama and want this war to end. We want Guantanamo to close. The people being held there are being held without any due process and should be sent back to their native countries. None of you, and I don’t expect you to, will agree with me on this, but we have no business holding people against their will for no reason. This country goes by the Geneva Convention and the Geneva Convention has never been applied to these individuals being held at Guantanamo.

    • 1sttofight

Only idiots like you voted for bambi.

      BTW, Were you in Vietnam?

      I didn’t think so.

    • DEZ

*The U.S. uses white phosphorous on the people of Iraq and Afghanistan.*
No they do not, you are just to ridiculous for me to waste any more time on you!

    • Liberals Demise

You need your headlocker cleaned…..the U.S. hasn’t used Willy Pete since Vietnam. Go back to HuffandPuff Post. They miss their village idiot.

  23. jbharris

The U.S. has been in Afghanistan for seven and a half years and we have not found Osama bin Laden or Ayman al-Zawhiri and will not find these individuals. Do you think Afghanistan is going to do any better when we leave? No. It will revert back to the way it was. The warlords live in mansions and the people live in squalor. The Taliban is gaining strength. What has the U.S. accomplished in Afghanistan? Nothing.

  24. jbharris

Obama will be a better president than Bush ever tried to be. You know what, 1sttofight, we are tired of neo-cons running this country. It is the liberals turn and this country will be much better off. At least the liberals will not take a woman’s right to choose what she wants to do with her body. The liberals will not take a woman’s right to have an abortion away. The liberals will not demonize all the illegal immigrants who have no choice but to come to this country illegally to find a better job to support their families back home.

I believe in a woman’s right to choose what she wants to do with her own body. If she wants to have an abortion all the way to the ninth month then that is her right. I think that we should allow all illegal immigrants a path to U.S. citizenship. They are not bothering you or anyone else. A woman having an abortion is her own business and no one else’s. Bush tried to have abortions banned. That is another reason I do not care for Bush.

    • 1sttofight

Uh, exactly when did Bush try to do away with abortions? Facts only please.

    • DEZ

*I believe in a woman’s right to choose what she wants to do with her own body. If she wants to have an abortion all the way to the ninth month then that is her right*

      You are completely morally bankrupt!

    • Liberals Demise

What about the rights of the unborn? You cry for the rights of everything shallow and unholy but who protects the silent voices in the womb? You sir(?) are a coward and worthy of a second thought about your own post abortion since you loathe those that brought you the freedoms you cherish but are unwilling to grant to those without a voice or vote.

    • JohnMG

…..”A woman having an abortion is her own business and no one else’s….”

I suppose the unborn child shouldn’t be a factor either, huh genius?

To quote Strother Martin….”What we have here is failure to communicate”.

You are so pathetic on so many levels. But even so, I wouldn’t approve of your mother electing to abort her child, even if that child had been you.

What a sorry blob of protoplasm you turned out to be.

  25. jbharris

No, I was not in Vietnam. I was born in 1974. I am too young for Vietnam. However, I have read about it. How would you like it if someone dropped a bomb on your town with napalm or white phosphorous and you had to see people running trying to rip their clothes off because it was on fire or burning the skin off of them, what would you do? How would you feel? The U.S. had no business being there in the first place.

    • 1sttofight

No, I was not in Vietnam. I was born in 1974. I am too young for Vietnam. However, I have read about it.

      Read about it, Huh?

Well squirt, Me and many, many others on this forum WERE there and experienced it first hand. In my case 2 tours, 1970-1972.
Saying you know all about it is like a virgin saying they know all about sex because they read a couple of Playboy magazines.
I have called in bombing missions, some with napalm. It looks a lot different when the people on fire just a few minutes ago were trying their best to kill you.
You are really a waste of time becdause you refuse to see facts for what they are. Your narrow world view is already made up and nothing will convince your uberintelligence that you are ever wrong.
Good day little boy, hopefully you will grow up some day and really be a man.
This is my last response to any of your posts because I have far better ways to spend my time.

BTW, My youngest son(25 year old Marine) got home a few months ago from his second tour in Iraq and he does not have all these mental problems you keep talking about.

  26. Liberals Demise
