The last competent president we had (i.e. Bill Clinton) made some very good points in this recent interview, among them, that he is not a racist. Even most Reps agree that he is not. It’s hysterical left-wingers who are ga-ga over B. Hussein Nobama that twist everything the Clintons have said to make it seem racist. Clinton called Nobama’s approach to the Iraq disaster a “fairy tale,” and he was lynched as a racist for it. How, I ask?? Where’s the racism in this, explicit or implicit? The answer: It’s not there, this was just knee-jerk, mindless and ridiculous reaction to a politician who happens to be white, when he had a difference of opinion with a politician who happens to be black. So, who’s the racist??

Bill (the nose) Clinton is never going to whole-heartedly support Obama. His ego is too enormous and, in his (foggy) mind, I believe he thinks Hillary would have won the election, and thereby reinserting (sorry, I had to) himself into the intern life-style at the White House. I seriously doubt she could win, any more than I think Obama will win. There simply can’t be that many mindless Americans. I suspect the turnout to vote AGAINST Obama will be huge.

“The last competent president we had (i.e. Bill Clinton)”
OK, I’ll bite. In what context are we using competent this week? I missed the memo obviously.

I’m sorry but I didn’t even listen to the drivel this person spewed when he was President (key word in that sentence is ‘was’) I will not listen to him as a former President hyping a wife he disrespects, dislikes and wants to hype simply to increase his public personna again.
I agree iwth LiberalMGS - in what context are you using the word? Able to lie and make lying ‘acceptable’ (or was that -’”poignant and endearing” because “when Bill Clinton would deceive, he would throw in a semantic clue that let you know he was deceiving.” She further added that “He would let you know he was lying’(Maureen Dowd) - gag)? Or was it because his entire Presidency was poll driven - thus whatever the twisted, distorted and managed polls ‘claimed’ is what the ‘majority’ of the public wanted, was done, sort of by the Clinton White House?

He meant “continent president”. Worried about McCain’s age, obviously.
