Black Caucus To Walkout During Holder Vote

From The Hill:

Black caucus to stage walkout during Holder contempt vote in House

By Jordy Yager – 06/27/12

Members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) plan to stage a walkout during Thursday’s vote on whether to place Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress.

The CBC is scheduled to meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday to discuss the details of the walkout and is planning to circulate a letter to House Democrats requesting that they join them on the Capitol steps for a press conference during the contempt vote.

Of course they are only going to ‘walkout’ to the Capitol steps for a press conference.

The move comes less than 24 hours before the House plans to vote for the first time in history to hold a sitting attorney general in contempt of Congress for not complying with a congressional subpoena. Holder is the first black attorney general in U.S. history

The Hill puts those two sentences back to back, as if it somehow ’cause and effect.’

Still, what a shock to see the Black Congressional Caucus trying to turn this vote into a ‘racial issue.’ Of course, they could turn the sunrise into a ‘racial issue.’

On Wednesday evening, in a last-minute effort to stop the vote, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) hand-delivered a letter to Boehner signed by 65 Democrats who asked the Speaker to cancel the contempt resolution.

Apparently, these 65 Democrats don’t want to know what happened in Fast & Furious, despite the program being all Bush’s fault.

“The House Leadership’s actions are destructive election-year politics pure and simple," said Jackson Lee in a statement…

Lest we forget, Ms. Sheila Jackson Lee led the effort to have Bush’s Attorney General, Alberto Gonzales, impeached over the legal firing of a handful of US Attorneys. Even though Mr. Gonzales was the first Hispanic attorney general in U.S. history.

But, of course, that wasn’t politics.

    ~Yeah, so?

The fact that there even IS a black caucus is racism issue #1, let’s start with that. This is just a golden opportunity to throw into question why people are segregating themselves based on race, which explains their own racial stereotypes and attitudes towards others, which explains why they are walking out. —–end of story, victory for Republicans once again.

Roger Clemmons: Despite the obvious question of why in the hell does congress have any regulatory authority over MLB, this guy was brought up on actual federal charges for simply maintaining his innocence in the face of un-tried evidence.

Eric Holder: Flaty refused to comply with a lawful request from congress to provide information, and when documents were provided didn’t provide them all. Falsely claimed the project was a Bush era operation and not his doing. And we have to put it to a vote to see if he was in contempt of congress (which best as I can figure means diddly squat in and of itself)?

    I don’t get it.

Exactly, go ahead and have your little huff.

Given the court’s inability today to understand simple constitutional concepts, I believe we have lost as a nation and my attitude to the national socialists is simply to tell them to get bent.

When they start jailing people for not having health insurance, my guess is that they will be 70% black and 2% white. Thus, they will have wrought yet another “unexpected consequence” of their “high and noble thinking”.

Blacks, you’re on notice. You asked for it, you got it.

    • AcornsRNutz says:

I take it you heard as well.

I doubt 70% of balcks will get slammed by the new health care requirements (God forbid they ever get to that point), since there will no doubt be waivers for certain groups.

    Birds of a feather flock.

What will the white caucus do?

How pathetic. The American idiocracy sinks to new depths every day. Just when you think they can’t possibly sink any lower, they do.

We could send the Ted Kennedy Search and Rescue Squad to find them and bring them back. But then wouldn’t it be a far, far better thing if they were to walk out and keep on walking?

For when they do walk out, the collective IQ of the remainder of the House of Representatives will increase by some 20 points. If Nancy Pelosi joins the walkout, the IQ of the remainder jumps 50 points.

    Black Caucus walks out?

    Keep walking ….

CBC to walk out on AG Holder vote? This sounds about the same as what the Democrats also did up there in Wisconsin on the Governor Walker fiasco and we all know how that worked out for the Democrats on that one!

Are these CBC members who walk out still on the payroll or can their wages for the day be deducted because they are not performing their duties and this would be call mis-appropriation of wages?

It’s even better than Wisconsin. It’s blacks openly admitting that they have no interest in hearing reasoned, logical arguments, that they are all for segregation (on their terms) and that they have no respect for the rule of law. Ours or anyone else’s.

The nation is truly broken and in spite of efforts in the past to fix things, it is now proven that government interdiction fails. Making our society one big social experiment through legislation is not, nor ever has been the government’s job. In fact, in the past 150+ years, it has proven, over and over how huge a misconception it is.

I would much have preferred that people go at it, privately, make their own decisions and in the long run, find that the way they were doing it was wrong and had to change. Any “change” forced on people by the government is met with resistance. People change because they have to or because they want to. Every change the government puts on society is “have to” (or face some sort of punishment).

In capitalism and the free-market society, people can choose to do as they please with the options available or even come up with their OWN option.

This version of government is the natural, inevitable evolutionary result of the human political gene. The desire for empty praise over actually accomplishing something. The appearance of doing good instead of actually doing good which can sometimes be very difficult. But the people who prefer the appearance of it are also very shallow, self-involved and not examples of human nobility.

But lately, the blacks of this ilk just disgust me.

I would think us “white boy’s” would be just as outraged as our founders. I know I ‘am. Walker got re-elected ’cause of the walk outs. The 14 or so that hid out in Chi-town, all dems, and all union, and I hope all damned. Got to see what real adults do when faced with real problems. Color coding comes from the left. Who Cares?
Petronius, why would you dig up Druncle Ted? Haw!

What better way to silence the public than to elect people who are considered beyond reproach if you happen to be white? The Democrats certainly have their methods figured out. Last week, Cher slammed the tea party as “racist” because most of the people at the open rallies were white. I wonder what she thinks about the “black caucus” who have excluded would – be members because they are white? William Lacey Clay, a member, said it quite frankly. “They are white and the caucus is black.”
