Thomas Sowell volunteers to be Uncle Tom of the Decade.

"Multiculturalism enshrines the sins-and-grievances approach — and paints the poor into a corner, where they can nurse their resentments instead of advancing their skills and their prospects. The beneficiaries are politicians and race hustlers."

I'm an American of Chinese descent who is philosophically conservative.

Glenn Beck says Joe Biden has funny eyes, like the Chinese. Chris Baker says they're cat-like.

Doc Thompson refers to Asians as yellow.

Seems like black conservatives are getting off easy.

Chris Matthews Racism, just a reminder. . .

On Obama's State of the Union speech:
"I forgot he was black tonight."

On the Tea Party protesters:
"For the first time, we have an African American head of state. But, there’s always going to be people who challenge it, who are threatened by it."

“In this world of ours today, it seems that any idiot – almost any idiot can rally the forces of tribalism, including white tribalism in this country. You can do it with a frown or a smile – easiest thing in the world to rile people back to their roots, get them thinking with all the rage of their grandparents.”

"Okay I think, I think some of the people are upset beacuse we have a black president."

"And they're monochromatic right?...Every picture I see shows them to be.....Meaning they're all white. All of them. Every single one of them is white."

On white voters in New Hampshire misrepresenting their intented votes for Barack Obama to pollsters:
"Methinks Paleface speak with forked tongue."--Chris Matthews 2008

On Sarah Palin's book signing:
NBC correspondent Norah O'Donnell: ".....This is a largely white -- almost no minorities in this crowd.."
Chris Matthews: "Well, they look like a white crowd to me. Let`s go back to Joan Walsh. Not that there`s anything wrong with it, but it is pretty monochromatic up there."

On the election of a mullato Harold Ford Jr. Running for Congress in Tennessee:
"I say this as almost like a sermon, but white people aren't voting for black people in this country."

On Barack Obama:
"Let me ask you about how he — how’s he connect with regular people? Does he? Or does he only appeal to people who come from the African-American community and from the people who have college or advanced degrees?

“This gets very ethnic, but the fact that he’s good at basketball doesn’t surprise anybody,”

On his role as an objective journalist and the Obama presidency:
CHRIS MATTHEWS: "Yeah, well, you know what? I want to do everything I can to make this thing work, this new presidency work, and I think that --"
JOE SCARBOROUGH: "Is that your job? You just talked about being a journalist!"
MATTHEWS: "Yeah, it is my job. My job is to help this country."
SCARBOROUGH: "Your job is the make this presidency work?"
MATTHEWS: "To make this work successfully. This country needs a successful presidency."

Throughout Obama's growing up he would get angry at his black friends who might high five a white person, or despise such as a fellow black student that would talk normal (like Obama decided to do in is older years, losing his swagger at the hip, which he says led to finally getting somewhere in politics at a time he said he felt like the struggling actor who realizes he won't make it, or the athlete that resigns they will never be famous.

And that is aside the anger he still feels when Africans & Indonesians work for the white man, just like his mother. He couldn't stand to even see white tourists going to Africa. That is Obama's selfish entitlement problem. Even though Africa was not his country, he acted like he knew what was best for it too. The the hypocrite Obama complained that the best jobs in Africa were involved in having to pay a Union. He couldn't stand the white tourists that came to Hawaii either.

....."Most of your environmental activist nuts are white. And most of the rich old farts (Pelosi, Reid) foisting the health care legislation on the country are white too......"

And most of the MSM-leftist-talking-head-liberals are white which should, by extension, make them racist as well. But we know they're not.

They're just idiots.

"tea partyers shouted racial and anti-gay slurs..."

And nothing says anti-gay slur like the left using the phrase "teabagger." Gee, the hypocrisy of these scum.

I'm glad that the multiculturalists at the AP have jumped to the conclusion that a group mostly comprised of whites, as an extension of demographics, is racist. Of course, this rule applies only to conservatives. Most of your environmental activist nuts are white. And most of the rich old farts (Pelosi, Reid) foisting the health care legislation on the country are white too.

I'm pretty tired of my race being turned into a straw man argument whenever a liberal cannot defend their position. They always pull the race card.

'it’s believed to include only a small number of blacks and Hispanics"

Count three people of Latin American heritage in my family (myself included) who support the tea party movement. So screw you, AP!

This is a tired as the lie that only whites say bad things about other races. I once talked with a middle aged black man in a waffle house in NC for from 11pm-3am over coffee and hashbrowns. He espoused nearly the same politcal ideas that I had been tirelessy defending as not racist for years. He very nearly cried when telling me how he was treated by members of his own race, the horrible things they called him. I respect all patriotic conservative Americans, but I reserve a special respect for those same who are minorities, forced to be such in the modern "culturally diverse" environments that have become what it means to be a minority in this ailing society.

My dear old dad used to say "Conservatives are liberals that became adults."

Maybe these black conservatives got tired of being little kids and treated as such.

And that's another annoying thing (one of more than a million) about the lame stream media, they have to label everything. These are not BLACK conservatives, they are just conservatives. If the hypocrites in the LSM really weren't closet racists they'd know that.

"Liberal logic" is ridiculous. Liberals constantly charge that the Tea Party groups are racist, homophobic, white, rednecks, but when anybody who doesn't fit that stereotype tries to join, the left then calls them "Uncle Tom" or whatever perjorative they feel is necessary. Is there any doubt who is practicing racism in that equation?

Racial politics as practiced by the left.

From an approving Associated Press:

Black conservative tea party backers take heat

By Valerie Bauman

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - They've been called Oreos, traitors and Uncle Toms, and are used to having to defend their values. Now black conservatives are really taking heat for their involvement in the mostly white tea party movement—and for having the audacity to oppose the policies of the nation's first black president.

"I've been told I hate myself. I've been called an Uncle Tom. I've been told I'm a spook at the door," said Timothy F. Johnson, chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, a group of black conservatives who support free market principles and limited government.

"Black Republicans find themselves always having to prove who they are. Because the assumption is the Republican Party is for whites and the Democratic Party is for blacks," he said.

Johnson and other black conservatives say they were drawn to the tea party movement because of what they consider its commonsense fiscal values of controlled spending, less taxes and smaller government. The fact that they're black—or that most tea partyers are white—should have nothing to do with it, they say.

"You have to be honest and true to yourself. What am I supposed to do, vote Democratic just to be popular? Just to fit in?" asked Clifton Bazar, a 45-year-old New Jersey freelance photographer and conservative blogger.

Opponents have branded the tea party as a group of racists hiding behind economic concerns—and reports that some tea partyers were lobbing racist slurs at black congressmen during last month's heated health care vote give them ammunition.

But these black conservatives don't consider racism representative of the movement as a whole—or race a reason to support it.

Angela McGlowan, a black congressional candidate from Mississippi, said her tea party involvement is "not about a black or white issue."

"It's not even about Republican or Democrat, from my standpoint," she told The Associated Press. "All of us are taxed too much."

Still, she's in the minority. As a nascent grassroots movement with no registration or formal structure, there are no racial demographics available for the tea party movement; it's believed to include only a small number of blacks and Hispanics. …

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9ETR1380

Yes - it can't be a serious organization without a formal breakdown of membership by racial demographics, right?
