wirenut….red elm is excellent! but make sure you cut it during the dead of winter because it’s a lot easier to dry without the moisture content so high. a sapling three inches in diameter at the base, and about 20 to 24 inches long….oh yeah! Every person has an indigenous tree that is suitably hard for their own tater stick….but use saplings instead of limbs….the base of a sapling is mondo hard with tightly packed rings…and a natural slight graduation for the perfect grip area.

Regardless of the election outcome, I hope this gets some serious coverage (including the old shame-the-MSM-into-mentioning-it).
Voting without fear is a sacred right on this continent. Those a$$holes are trying to compromise that right and therefore need to be prominently displayed somewhere with their heads jammed onto stakes.
