Bra Sizes Of Detroit Police Mistakenly Emailed

From the Fox News Detroit affiliate, WJBK:

Bra sizes of female Detroit cops mistakenly emailed to officers

By Taryn Asher | August 12, 2013

DETROIT (WJBK) – A man’s bullet proof vest looks the same as a woman’s body armor on the outside. Of course, the woman’s is contoured to fit her curves.

However, when several female officers with the Detroit Police Department provided their height, weight and bra cup sizes, they never imagined a good portion of the rank-and-file at DPD would see it.

"On the third page, the females were listed. Unfortunately and embarrassingly, the cup sizes of the females were listed on that third page, and it was really just a clerical error," said Assistant Chief James White.

Police sources said about three weeks ago, Commander Dwayne Love [sic] was asked to notify the officers that their bullet proof vests were ready to be picked up. So he forwarded an email to the commanders, who then forwarded it to the supervisors, who then forwarded it to the officers.

White claimed Love didn’t know the weight, height and bra cup sizes of the women were included on the attached Excel spreadsheet until it was too late.

Yeah, that’s what he "claimed." The perv.

"Conscientious, very hard working command officer. However, it’s an embarrassing situation, and I’m going to be addressing the issue formally with him over the next couple weeks," White said. "Once we complete our investigation, there will be corrective action."

Padded bras?

But let’s hope the DOJ investigates this outrage. After all, this is surely the worst thing to happen in Detroit in years.

We have learned several female officers, who say they have faced ridicule from fellow officers, with the help of their union are filing two grievances against the department and one complaint with EOC. Even if Love made an innocent mistake, the damage they feel has already been done.

White said on Thursday he and Chief Craig plan to meet with the female officers impacted by this to apologize and assure them that it will never happen again.

Hey, just wait until all of our medical records are available online, thanks to Obama-Care. This will seem like child’s play.

In seemingly unrelated news, San Diego Mayor Bob Filner has applied for the position of Detroit Chief of Police. Although, it is rumored that flailing New York Mayoral Candidate Anthony Weiner already has the job in mind, if he falls short in his election bid. “Nobody enjoys hardcore [police work] as much as I do,” Weiner added at a press conference. Not to be outdone, former president Bill Clinton said he might have some interest in returning to elected office in the Motor City, adding that he “always liked chicks in uniforms.” Clinton went on to say that he had “never had a 3-way with chicks in uniforms,” even during his years in the “Oral Office,” as he put it. What was sure to be a no-frills election for the opening, is certainly drawing a lot of high-profile democrat candidates suddenly.

And of course Detroit has enough money to defend against a lawsuit, and/or settle with these female officers, right?

But the real irony here is that some of these officers actually think they could fool the others into thinking they were packing a couple of “thirty-eights” when they were more like “thirty-twos”, although it does lead one to speculate as to the effectiveness of concealed-carry rigs. On the other hand, if you’re equipped with 44’s or 45’s that’s a tough secret to keep.

If I were one of the ‘offended’ ones I don’t think I’d continue to call attention to a personally perceived deficiency by pressing a lawsuit. Naturally we’re talking of Detroit’s “finest” here, whose first duty is to “protect and defend”. It is only a matter of determining whose welfare is first priority.

Maybe they should consider bending over backward in order to put up a good front.

“So he forwarded an email to the commanders, who then forwarded it to the supervisors, who then forwarded it to the officers”

Sounds like the Supervisors spread the word. Was it missing the measurements of the men’s size?
