Brewer: Obama Told Arizona To ‘Drop Dead’

From the Politico:

Jan Brewer: Obama says ‘drop dead’ to Arizona

By MJ LEE | 6/26/12

Just hours after hailing the Supreme Court’s ruling on Arizona’s immigration law as a “legal victory” for her state, Gov. Jan Brewer changed her tone, accusing the Obama administration of telling her state to “drop dead.”

Before lawmakers could fully digest the court’s decision on Monday upholding the “show me your papers” provision of the law, the Obama Administration announced that it was revoking agreements with Arizona police over the enforcement of federal immigration laws.

So, for all intents and purposes, the administration immediately took the teeth out of the bill, and basically did an ‘end around’ around both the Supreme Court and the Arizona legislature.

Brewer told Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren on Monday that she was “shocked” and “outraged” to learn of the move.

“This is politics at its best,” she said. “It’s just unconscionable. What they said to Arizona is, ‘Drop dead, Arizona. Drop dead and go away. We’re going to ignore you.’”

But, to be fair, the Obama administration also announced they would not be continuing these 287 agreements with any other states, either. So Obama is really telling the whole country to ‘drop dead.’

“It just is incomprehensible to think that this has all taken place today. And it ticks me off. I think that it should tick the people of America off,” she added. “And it’s almost become apparent that they can do whatever they darn well want! They don’t want to enforce their laws. They won’t let us help them enforce their laws.”

In fact, they are criminalizing enforcing our laws. How Orwellian is that?

[T]he Department of Homeland Security announced later Monday that it was revoking its so-called 287(g) agreements with Arizona law enforcement agencies — a partnership with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement that gave local police the power to enforce immigration laws.

Brewer also criticized the policy shift in an interview with John King of CNN.

“They arbitrarily single out Arizona and sent a bomb, if you will, across our bow and made Arizona once again a target,” she said. “The people of America ought to be outraged. This is absolutely an assault.”

And to add insult to injury, we have this news from a joyous Associated Press:

Federal hotline set up on Arizona immigration

June 25, 2012

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department has set up a hotline for the public to report potential civil rights concerns regarding the Arizona law that requires police to check the immigration status of those they stop for other reasons.

The hotline phone number is 1-855-353-1010. The email is: SB1070(at)usdoj.gov

So if you see anyone trying to enforce our federal immigration laws, please report them immediately to the Department of Justice so that Mr. Holder can put a stop to it.

All of which just proves Gov. Brewer and Justice Scalia right. What the DOJ really doesn’t like about AZ, is that they are enforcing federal immigration law. Obama simply does not want our immigration laws to be enforced.

This isn’t rocket surgery. There is no nuance here.

An article in Ekstra Bladet by Bent Falbert states that Sweden grew 500,00 within seven years. Of these numbers, 400,000 “are owed to immigration, especially of Somalis, Afghans, and Iraqis.” These non-assimilating “visitors” have an obvious impact on Sweden. The impact of immigration is obvious here in the United States as well. The current horde flowing through Arizona and other border states is courtesy of our non-allegiant President and his band of thieves. And then, there is family reunification and another horde.

How much longer will it be before the citizens of Arizona IGNORE THE LAW THEMSELVES and bullets start flying?

This is the whole reason we have laws, so that anarchy doesn’t break out, but for the criminal element in Arizona, it already has.
It’s ticking right now in AZ, I don’t know how much longer people’s tolerance to this federal abuse will hold up. I guess when people get so disgusted and desperate, they will hold up a scale of justice and decide that future consequences are not enough to keep them from remedying the intolerable situation they are enduring now.

Seems like another INTOLERABLE ACT by King George III.

I’m afraid George III and his ministers were never so diabolical. Perhaps it is time for Gov. Jan Brewer to call out the State militia to defend the border?

Some random thoughts from the living Constitution :

The President “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed….” Art II, sec. 3.

“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion….” Art. IV, sec. 4.

“No State shall, without the Consent of Congress … engage in War, unless actually invaded….” Art. I, sec. 10.

“Treason against the United States shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.” Art. III, sec. 3.

“The President … shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason … or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.” Art. II, sec. 4.

No doubt the Arizona constitution has its own provisions regarding treason against the State. The terrorist John Brown, for example, was tried and hanged by the Commonwealth of Virginia for committing treason against Virginia.

According to the No-Good Nine (or a majority thereof), it is now become unlawful for the State of Arizona to make a law enforcing a Federal law when the President refuses to enforce the Federal law.

Hmmm. In other words, the president can pick and choose which laws to enforce. Even when it spells chaos.

That being so, might we then elect a new president who will not enforce certain other laws? e.g., the Internal Revenue Code, Obama-Care, Dodd-Frank, the organic statutes of various Federal departments and agencies, etc.?

In fact, why not shut-down the Federal government in toto? Like Nerobama and his cohorts shut down the Gulf oil fields, Alaska oil, the Keystone pipeline, coal mines, coal-fired utilities, Boeing, the aerospace industry, health insurance companies, medical companies, the housing industry, banks, the farms in the San Joaquin Valley, and the State of Arizona?

Yes, let’s call it a kinetic action shut down.

Aside from all the legal aspect of it, it’s also a clearly desperate grasp for more hispanic votes. The details of it all are disturbing, on the very face of it but also says everything we need to know about his desperation about trying to please the base he’s losing.

Feels like 1933 all over again. More and more power-grabs and intrusion into our lives and manipulation.

In the May 28, 2012 issue of National Review Sean Trende makes the point that for every move by the Democrats to entice the votes of non-white voters, white voters have increasingly voted Republican. (He bases his study on exit polls since 1982, the first year such polling data became readily available.) While the numbers of minority voters (legal, and otherwise) increase, he notes that until such time as the US of A actually annexes all of Mexico, white voters will still outnumber minority voters, many of whom are by then 2nd- and 3rd generation residents/citizens (?) who more and more vote Republican.

We can only hope that the treatment of Arizona, and the ripple effect to Alabama and places also erecting their own legislation in the abject absence of Federal action, will move more voters into the anti-Obama camp when voting in November, and that that backlash will also impact their local and state-wide election voting.

This behavior from the top is dictatorial at best and treasonous at worst. I guess he doesn’t support free elections either, because flooding with U.S. with foreign nationals who vote decreases our citizen’s ability to elect their own representatives. My own state (Florida) is suing because the federal government doesn’t want them to purge dead people from their voting rolls. What a despicable, immoral, racially antagonistic administration we have.

Obama’s 2nd hero to Malcolm X was Hitler. Studied and studied it as his mother was so angry to learn his Indonesian father was forced to hunt down nazi’s. She’s have never followed him , if she’d known. But, as she would yell about Americans saving Indonesia from Japan and the Dutch, and then showing them how to get rich of oil…”They are not my people.” Even though the Sotoro’s were able to have servants and live nicely, she hated her 2nd husband for working for the white man. And Obama who promised to go after the white Americans who made his mother get a real good high paying job, instead of the one she enjoyed weaving baskets. And with the rise of Islam in Indonesia the women won’t be able to leave their homes.
Who would think such a strong women would where a veil as she did for pictures.

It’s time for key States to begin operations to secede from the Union.

Because not only are we right back where we were in 1960, we’re right back where we were in 1860.

I simply cannot believe this. My usually outspoken self is literally at a loss for words. Vision is fine though; seeing things a bit red, but vision works.

Things are about to get really nasty in this country.

I’ve always wanted to visit Greece, so I’m so glad our President could bring it to me.

      Aargh!!
