The live stream from C-SPAN is of course now over.

But here are a couple of photographs from the great day.

HuffPo says “thousands” at DC tea party.

Actual estimates put it at 1.5 MILLION

WASHINGTON — Thousands of people marched to the U.S. Capitol on Saturday, carrying signs with slogans such as “Obamacare makes me sick” as they protested the president’s health care plan and what they say is out-of-control spending.

The line of protesters spread across Pennsylvania Avenue for blocks, all the way to the capitol, according to the D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency. People were chanting “enough, enough” and “We the People.” Others yelled “You lie, you lie!” and “Pelosi has to go,” referring to California congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.

Demonstrators waved U.S. flags and held signs reading “Go Green Recycle Congress” and “I’m Not Your ATM.” Men wore colonial costumes as they listened to speakers who warned of “judgment day” – Election Day 2010.

Richard Brigle, 57, a Vietnam War veteran and former Teamster, came from Paw Paw, Mich. He said health care needs to be reformed – but not according to President Barack Obama’s plan.

“My grandkids are going to be paying for this. It’s going to cost too much money that we don’t have,” he said while marching, bracing himself with a wooden cane as he walked.

FreedomWorks Foundation, a conservative organization led by former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, organized several groups from across the country for what they billed as a “March on Washington.”

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

Checking the headline again, some hour and a half later, HuffPo has updated it to read “tens of thousands”.

It’s gonna be hard for them to say the “m” word, I think.

Looks like a party! My kinda Party!

  3. retire05 says:

Hang on to your Stetsons, kids. The mere fact that C-Span covered this event tells you that it is more important than the D.C. elite want to admit.

The movement needs to keep going. We need to let the D.C. elite (both Democrat and Republican) know that we are mad as hell and we aren’t gonna take it any more. We need to let them know they work for us and we can fire them. Last time I heard, Congress critters and Senators are not protected by a union like the SEIU.

I urge you to start your own group. Call it the Children of the Constitution or whatever name you want to attach to it. Invite your friends, and neighbors, to join you in a study of the Constitution and talk about how our elected representatives have usurpted that document for the last 100 years. Track your elected representatives. Let their votes be known and tell people how it will affect them. Hold their feet to the fire. Insist they do what they were elected to do; REPRESENT YOU, NOT THEMSELVES. Find out who is contributing to their campaigns. Tie those contributions into their votes in the Congress or the Senate.

We CAN bring change. But I promise you, if we do, it will NOT be the kind of change Obama had in mind.

    • wardmama4 says:

You know I kind of like that idea – Retire – use the Change word against them.

I also like that we need to fight back against the corruption – ACORN (again) breaking news of the (as Andrew Breitbart said on the ACORN MD Tapes): ‘You must see what pure stinking corruption looks like.’ And do not forget that these criminals are getting 4.19 billion of the Porkulus bill money.
That should be stopped right now – immediately. ACORN had/has how many election fraud accusations in how many states? And Congress is overlooking this. Again.

Michelle Obama (in her favor returning job at UofC Medical Center) and David Axelrod concocted this ‘Urban Health Initiative’ to dump the poorest of patients onto local clinics (in violation of the EMTALA) – while collecting millions in local, state and federal funds to provide charitable care to the poor. They should be in jail or at the very least run out of DC. Talk about a ‘war’ (on poverty) criminal. And the sad thing is that the very people these people were sc***ing and profiting from (let us not forget Ms Obama’s position did not exist before she stepped foot into UofC and was eliminated after she left) voted for the very people who did them wrong.

So here is the real moral obligation Congress & Obama need to address & it isn’t Healthcare ‘reform’ – CORRUPTION. Cut Fraud & Waste & Corruption from all the Programs aimed to help the ‘least of these’. And after these examples of fraud and corruption – don’t any of you even dare to consider taking over the Healthcare system and making you corrupticrats in charge of it. EVER.

Talk about the ‘most ethical’ Congress ever – What a load of BS.

Get Out of Our House – NOW.

  4. retire05 says:

Wardmama, I understand what you are saying but the freedom we seek to maintain started with the comments of one person talking to another person. Perhaps it was Franklin, maybe Adams, but it was one person who started the conversation and invited others to join and express their ideas.

One person; you. One person, that becomes two people, then five, then a hundred until we see thousands of like minded people, those who believe in the Constitution, those who believe that it is the people, not the elite, that govern this nation, all coming together and marching on Washington, D.C. today.

One person had the idea for every invention America has ever given to the world. Salk, DeBakey, et al.

That is what I am trying to impress on everyone. Everyone can be that one person that rallies the cry that will be heard in the halls of Congress.

So gather your friends, your neighbors. Do a pot luck. Have a bar-b-que. Be that one person that starts to change our government back to the way it was designed, not the way it was created after it was hijacked 100 years ago.

You see, I also read Saul Alinsky but what Alinsky, or Obama, never counted on was Americans using his tactics for good, not to impose socialistic norms on this nation.

  5. Rusty Shackleford says:

Well, I’ve looked on several blogs about the tea party in DC. Some say around 60 to 70 thousand, one said 1.5 million (unlikely) but it’s most probable that the exact figure will never be known. I would bank on getting the number from the DHS.

But looking at the comments, the most disturbing statements are on the liberal blogs where people think in highly emotional terms, consider conservatives to be nazis who want to tell people who they can marry, who can have healthcare and who lives and who dies.

So, after reading many many comments, it is clear that the liberals believe that it’s up to government to provide for the people, that they OWE it to them to do so, so everyone has that “equal and fair” chance. Equal and fair were bandied about like a hooker at Ted Kennedy’s house.

Their worship for Blammo is clear. One poster said, “How can they compare Hitler to a guy who’s never killed nobody (sic)”

That poster missed the point, and the boat entirely.

Many of the liberal posters said that conservatives are not able to think for themselves. But mostly, the “arguments” they made sounded mostly like angry teenagers with little actual life experience.

They also said that “they couldn’t do anything until Beck showed up” But Beck was in his studio watching it as much of America was via CNN, of all places.

One poster said, “Ha, The major news services aren’t even giving your sorry tea-bagger party any notice, you losers”.

    And so it goes.

I doubt that any middle ground will ever be found between the ones who wish for a perfect universe where everyone has a Playstation and Guitar Hero game and a Blackberry with every feature on it…vs the conservatives who truly know what fair is.

Oh, and the remarks about “racist signs” were there, too, of course.

Ann Coulter was right about “how to speak to a liberal…if you must”. The first choice is “don’t” as far as I’m concerned. You cannot trump their beating hearts of everloving desire for a perfect world with facts about how people really act, and you can’t convince them that the democrats want to subjugate them as much as they do any conservatives. They just think that the healthcare bill is loaded with good and lovingkindness, and that conservatives who disagree with it are racist pigs who only want to spend money on war. Well….It’s hard to read all of this because, aren’t the democrats in power now..and aren’t they increasing the numbers of troops in Afghanistan?

Honestly the things they say right off the cuff, pure emotion, no facts, no real reason. And of course, many of them say the same about us. They claim that we don’t listen to facts. But they get their facts from Time magazine, PMSNBC, CBS, ABC, etc. New York Times….and so on.

So, they are fed what they want to see and hear.

What disturbs me most is the fact that the nation is now growing permanently divided. Not along color lines, or religious lines…but along the line of those who can think critically vs those who cannot.

To me, it’s like talking to a child who is spoiled and “I WANT MY BIKE!!!!”

You cannot win. The only winning is to either let them have their tantrum while not giving in to their demands or, knocking them flat to make them shut up.

But today is a real mark in history, regardless of whether the MSM reports it at all, or tries to describe it as something it wasn’t (radical right wing) or even flat out lies about it.

Obama was busy surrounding himself with a feel-good crowd in the upper midwest, his “home turf” and feeling not the slightest twinge of the goings on in DC. He cares not. Never has, never will. He will still tell the American people to take the pill. And if we refuse to swallow it, he will make it a suppository.

I think the democrats are going to push it through, in very unchanged form as a matter of spite to conservatives, the democratic party and they don’t particularly care about any consequences. Therefore in 2010, after the republicans re-take the house, the first point of order will be to repeal the healthcare act of 2009.

    • Colonel1961 says:

Never killed anyone? Don’t tell the drone victims or the Somali pirate(s)…

We should, however, rise above the Hitler rhetoric because of the media representation – correct, applicable, or not. His arguments are so weak, we don’t need them.

    • TwilightZoned says:

Never killed anyone? Hmmm…partial birth abortions comes to mind. Just because one physically doesn’t pick up the tool and use it, the fact one condones the behavior makes one just as guilty. Yes, I’m certain there is something in the law called guilt by association. (dripping with sarcasm)

“they couldn’t do anything until Beck showed up”

The same thing could be said about Soros and his ilk. This statement also suggests, to me, the libtards are beginning to feel a bit uneasy things may not go their way after all.

I’ve come to the conclusion you can never argue with people who think with their emotions. The left-wing loons (AKA- the highjacked democratic party) take advantage of, or simply put, prey on and use people with the very lowest EQ’s, to say the least. These folks do not get the fact they are considered disposable once the agenda is accomplished.

    • proreason says:

Liberal policies kill people. At least thousands in this country, probably tens of thousands annually. And that doesn’t count millions who have died overseas from starvation because of Corn Gas, and millions more who have died because of the ban on DDT, and, and….

In the U.S., thousands die from abortion, drugs, gang violence, lax national security that finally requires military intervention, terrorism…..all directly tied to liberal policies.

But they aren’t satisfied. They want to ration medical attention, particularly to seniors. Hundreds of thousands will die unnecesarilly each year if that is passed.

And it will get worse than that, much worse.

Liberalism leads to Statism and Fascism and that leads to Communism. Doesn’t matter what you call it….in the end they want to absolutely control your life.

It’s because whateveryoucallit’ism requires Central Planning, and Central Planning not only never works, it causes massive grief. Central Planning has already killed hundreds of millions around the world. Famine, disease, war. The reason is that human life/culture/reproduction/climate/economics/competition are all far too complex to plan centrally. Central Planning is do or die. You get one shot. There are no test cases. You don’t have thousands of entities experimenting to find out the best solutions as new and inevitably complex problems arise. So hundreds of millions die. Some by design, most because of the nature of a controlled society.

      That’s where it ends.

  6. wardmama4 says:

Retire – Yes I agree – one person can and does make a difference. And that is what these idiots are forgetting in DC – that it has been the individual – the spirit that brought people here, created a new Nation and keep people from all over the World (except maybe Mexico – they are just here for the entitlements to send back home) coming here. And I am not Borg nor do I want to be one of the Collective. Ever

And Rusty – an editorial (in American Thinker, I think) put it correctly. It is not a sudden rise in the divisive nature of America. Heck I can remember my mom & dad going on and on about the Silent Majority and how out of wack DC was – and my dad’s been dead for 41 years. Anyway, he said when he started looking at what has caused this difference he thinks it was the repealing of the Fairness Doctrine – the rise of talk radio and the Internet – allow Americans to see how Walter, Chet & David had lied, covered up and glossed over so much of what was going on behind the scenes.

We are now able to expose it not in a year, or a month or even a week – but instantly. And it is going to get ugly before it gets better.

The other problem is – I don’t want to run anyone else’s life or tell them how to live – I just don’t government to do it either. To make a law to ‘protect’ or ‘give rights’ to some group – elevates them above all others. It is not justice nor is it fair. There are civil rights laws on the books, there are crime laws on the books – use them and the courts – if you have had your rights violated or a crime committed against you. Your hate is not my hate. Your justice is apparently not my justice. And that is what is so wrong with the government becoming involved in anything beyond making sure there are roads, fire houses, police stations and a standing Armed Forces to protect the Nation.

The rest is a matter of personal, individual beliefs and values. And mine are definitely not the same as The Won’s. Or Congress.

And it is why our Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution – Keep It Simple Stupid. And it is why this current bunch of Klownposse in DC lead by the Thug Administration is working overtime to destroy it.

  7. VMAN says:

I went to a Promise Keepers event in DC back in the late 1990s. The estimate on the crowd was between 500,00 and 1,000,000. Of course the DC Parks department stopped counting after the so call “Million Man March” go figure. The crowd for that was not even near the capitol building and didn’t make it back to the Washington Monument. The crown I saw yesterday on TV stretched from the steps of the Capitol past the Washington monument. 60 to 70 thousand? I think more like 1 to 2 million and that’s not even counting the hundreds of thousands meeting around the country or the hundreds of thousands of people like me and my wife that couldn’t make it to a gathering for whatever reason

Now we can get ready for the disinformation campaign and the smears. What they don’t realize is that all there smears will only strengthen our resolve. I think the thing that Obama and his ilk miss is that this is a nation of people who would give someone the shirt off their back but they DON;t want it man dated by the government.

One thing is clear as much as the left hated George W they couldn’t and didn’t muster a crowd anywhere near this in the 8 years he was in office. They are just a bunch of loud mouthed brats and that’s all they will ever be.

  8. retire05 says:

I have to tell y’all that through all of this Obamamania, I have been proud of my Texas Congressmen on the right side of the aisle: Louis Gohmert, Ted Poe, Jeb Hensarling, Joe Barton and Sam Johnson. During the ‘tax and trade’ bill, they stood the tallest and the loudest against the bill. Of course, Lloyd Doggett was the weasel he has always been, telling those of us who called his office that morning that he was going to vote against ‘tax and trade’ only to flip on the floor of the Congress and vote against it.

But we Texans are getting active. The Dallas Tea Party, ignored by the Progressive Media, drew 37,000 people on July 4th. My own small town of less than 5,000 had 750 people there.

We are angry and we are coming out in numbers; white, black and Tejano.

How many people do you think are aware that if the health care bill passes, although it will not go into effect until 2013 (after the next election) the tax proposals in that bill will go into affect immediately? In other words, we are going to be taxed for four years for something we don’t have. How many are aware that the bill is reportedly going to cost $900 billion but over $600 billion of that will come from Medicare/Medicaid that Americans have paid into all their working lives? Anyone who doesn’t know this is a D.C. shell game, should be seeking psychiatric help.

Now, one thing I did catch when Congressman Joe Barton was on Fox the other day; he said that if the Democrats pass this bill, rhamboing it through, and the GOP takes back the Congress in November, 2010, the first business of the day will be to repeal that very bill.

Contact your Congress critter. Let them know if they vote for the health care bill they will be unemployed on November 5th, 2010.

One person……………it all starts with one person. Be that person.

  9. Arnie says:

Only tens of thousands; painful isn’t it…….. or is it real sweetness and light.
That’s what credible news sources are saying (that’s where the Huffington post got theirs).

    • proreason says:

One glance at a picture will make it more painful for you Arnie.

There were hundreds of thousands there. And that doesn’t count hundreds of thousands more in other rallies around the country.

Your credible news sources are exactly the opposite. They are propaganda machines.

But hey, believe your hollow-cheeked “news” sources.

      Ignore your lying eyes.

    • Arnie says:

“The tens of thousands of protesters marched to the U.S. Capitol chanting various slogans and waving posters that voiced a rather broad array of grievances against big government and the leaders, particularly President Obama, who the protesters blame for its size and scope.”

I’ll give you the rest of the day to respond : What news organization does this quote come from?
      Hint use google

btw, 4% of the inauguration crowd would be 60,000 I’ll give you 6%.

      real sweetness

    • proreason says:

      do your own research.

And why are you so eager to minimize the count of the protestors? Something about the size of the crowd must concern you.

btw, the eye in the sky pictures only show the main thoroughfare, not the side streets, the mall, latecomers, and people otherwise out of the camera’s lens.

Reports yesterday had the number as high as 1.2 million. The organizers will give us an accurate count when things settle down. It will take a few days. But the number is really big, at least for those of us who believe our eyes instead of what the media masters tell us to believe.

Learn to think for yourself, arnie/jasper.

    • Liberals Demise says:

Hey Arnie…….best sign seen at the protest (in my humble opinion)

      “Buck oFama”

  10. Tater Salad says:

Please, please how can we move the date up for the next Congressional Elections so we can sweep these liberal morons out. H.R. 615, introduced, would mandate that all Congressman/women who vote for this socialized healthcare bill 3200 also be placed on the same public option they voted for. “No one in the Democratic Party is supporting this one”. I wonder why?

  11. ptat says:

I was there. It was huge and powerful. It was America. If Cap and Trade or the health bill get passed, many of us agreed that we would drop what we are doing immediately and go to D.C. to protest. No permits, no warning, no planning–spontaneous combustion.

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

Cap ‘n’ Tax and the Barry-care bills will most likely pass. I say this because the democrats, twinged by this event and others, are a spiteful bunch, as they alwayas have been and will vote for these plans out of anger. They are not generallty aware of the power of the people to vote them out, or if they are, will station black panthers and HATE-corn members to block “average white people” from going to the polls. (Social justice, y’see)

The growing fester is that those who feel discrimnated against have been enabled to believe that they are right and can usurp the law and take it into their own hands to “make a difference”.

I think, in my imagination, it would be very funny if congress ended up all black conservatives. Even then, though, the obama-bots would still cry racism and figure out a way to trty to make that stick.

The nation is clearly divided but reason and logic are not always helping us because they want it so badly to be the uptopian dream world, regardless of the fact that the ice cream has long since melted and is just a sticky mess on the parking lot pavement. But, that doesn’t matter to them…they continue with that which doesn’t work, won’t work, never HAS worked…and again….insanity is defined as doing the same thing, the same way, expecting different results.

I’m curious as to the argument against the war in Afghanistan…and Iraq isn’t done, either. But…Blammo is making both worse and yet….the sound of one hand clapping from the peanut gallery.

Crickets chirping…the subtle breeze….a tumbleweed goes by and I’m waiting for this monumental elite, charismatic, magical orater of a president to “make it all better”.

Well, Perhaps I’d do better to wait for my hair to grow back.

I had a dream, I was sitting with Winston Churchill and Obama…and I had just taken a sip of my beer. Obama looked at Churchill and said, “They say you were a great leader. Well, not to sound rude, but you ain’t seen NOTHIN’ yet!”

Mr Churchill sat there with an impish grin, took a sip of sherry and said, “You’re quite right….I haven’t. In fact, I’ve already seen all of this before.”

“No”, says Barry, “We’re not going to make the same mistakes as before.”

Again, Mr Churchill took another thoughtful sip on his sherry and replied, “Well, I should like to think you are embarked on a journey of making fresh new ones, but as it turns out…No.”

  12. WendyB says:

I was there, too, with my family. We had to leave the rallying point early because there were too many people. So we started up Pennsylvania Avenue towards Capitol Hill and when we got there, the West Lawn was already full. So we were on a side street, as Pro mentioned, and people continued to pour into the area near the Capitol for hours, from all directions. When we headed back, a couple of hours later (my kids would only stand for so many speeches that they could barely hear because the crowd was way too big for the amplifiers to reach) we went down the Mall and there were thousands of people around the reflecting pool and down the Mall. Arnie/Jasper can look at all the MSM sites he wants, and parrot what his liberal masters tell him, but it was an inspiring, true grass-roots march of hundreds of thousands of patriots. We met people from all over the country, who spent their own money and took time off from real jobs (as opposed to paid Democratic rabble-rouser jobs) to come to Washington and show Congress that We the People want them to work for us, consistent with the Constitution. Be frightenedm, Arnie/Jasper, be very frightened. As one woman’s sign read, “You Have Awakened A Sleeping Giant.”

  13. sheehanjihad says:

Remember when Cindy Sheehan’s protestor count was always stated by the media to be in the thousands when in reality it was in the tens….and the only pictures of her “rallies” that showed the real count appeared on this site.

Now, when there is abolute photographic proof of close to a million people, and probably a lot more are put up by Fox and the few websites that care about the truth….we get “thousands” or “scores” of people touted by the msm. They are exactly like their fearless leader. They simply lie, and hope nobody will call them on it.

It doesnt matter one iota what the real count was….because everyone in Washington was hiding under their desks hoping it was a bad dream. They are scared, because if they dont carry out Pelosi, Reid, or their puppet Oblama’s wishes, they will lose any power they have. However, it is becoming increasingly evident to them, that if the DO carry out what they are told to do, they will lose their jobs in the next election cycle.

America showed up to tell those in Washington that their days are numbered if they dont start doing their jobs and serve the people’s interests over their own and their masters who are pulling the strings of power. As of this week, we still retain the power to vote, and since ACORN is becoming exposed as the criminal enterprise we have always known they are, voter fraud will be left up to the unions, and they just dont have the manpower to manipulate the voters like ACORN did so well.

For once, for once the actual citizens of America are taking responsibility for preventing the transformation of our government. If Washington thinks that the 9-12 protests were large, they have no idea how large and unruly that “mob” will be if they continue to ignore the will of the people. Not the coastal malcontents who make a living as agitators and organizers…but the majority of Americans who just happen to love this country as a matter of course, and they will rise up and stop the disease of socialism by any means necessary.

The harbingers of the democrat’s future marched on Washington yesterday, and to ignore that obvious indication of the pulse of the electorate is to do so at one’s political peril. Personally, I hope they do. Then it can be ended with a steadfast finality that will take decades for the left to get back.

It’s a big number. A very big number. Almost certainly over a million.

    • sheehanjihad says:

David Axlerod stated that the protest in Washington yesterday “didnt represent the mainstream of America”. THAT is solid proof that this administration is under the influence of itself.

yo! Dave! You will soon discover that YOU dont represent more than 20% of America when it comes right down to it! These people will be the ones putting you out of a job, and your bosses out of business!! You completely dumbed down dirtbag moron!!!!

  17. DGA says:

I just got back from there after driving all day (Live in Indiana) and I’m her eto tell you, the sleeping giant has indeed awaken! We, four of us in our own car, drove there on Friday, and stayed the night some distance from the mall, and there were a lot of people at that hotel for the event. Took the train that morning and when we go to the staging area I was totally blown away by the sheer mass of people, and the flood coming from the train just never stopped all day! We had so many there that the police let us start marching 1.5 hours early because there was no more room for the oncoming masses to stand. By a stroke of luck we ended up maybe 75 feet from the stage on the right side of the capitol lawn, a great place to be. I have witnessed dozens of Indy 500 crowds, often used to be 350k or so, this blew those numbers away by a long way. All day I would look back at the flood of people streaming in still, they just kept coming. I guess I had hoped for 100,000 but that was so far off I couldn’t believe it. One Republican senator, forgotten his name, spoke, and said he had battled the democrats for many years, but he thought that we looked like the cavalry coming to the rescue to him.

After 3:30 we made our way back to get something to eat and sit down, and then went to see the White house. There was a police presence in front of the front lawn keeping us back 200 clicks or more, so we stood there, signs in hand and waited, and couldn’t believe it as the three Sikorsky helicopters came blastingin, and the third one landed on the front lawn. I waved my sign and yelled at the communist wannabe as he got off the heli and ran for cover. That made my day even better, then got to debate a leftist not far from the WW2 monument to top it off.

It was certainly an experience I’ll never forget, and it was such a lifting experience, to know you’re not alone in all this, to know you’re not some right wing radical minority, and that the sleeping giant is awake, and very angry!

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

THANKS for your efforts!!! I wanted to go and had a ride, even but had to work Saturday.

To be a fly on the wall inside Marine One….and watch the great pretender’s reaction. My guess is it was one of anger and contempt. He cannot be swayed by real public opinion. He is right, everyone else is wrong. If you agree with him, he will let you live. If you don’t there is clearly something wrong with you. All of this in his transparent behavior indicators of the past 9 months +

But as I said, this will only harden whatever resolve he has and I dare say, in his mind, has confirmed by way of how he sees things that the 9-12’ers are his enemies and they are ganging up so rather than be a true elected official and say things like “I now understand” or “I have heard your voice and I am ready to work things out”.

No, be prepared to hear either deafening silence from the WH and staff, or a volley of insults, veiled threats (or maybe not so veiled) and accusations of mounting an illegal act by some yet unknown fabricated group.

Either way, in the background, regardless of what he says, he will now have a tantrum and double his efforts to silence conservative talk radio, shut down any websites or make it very difficult for them under the guise of “potential terrorist threat” or some such.

He’s not going to lay down or acquiesce in any way. This march has probably pissed him off no end. And with that smug, stinky little shit attitude he has, he is going to figure out a way to slash everybody’s tires in a display of tempered rage.

The next week will be very telling. He DOESN’T CARE about what the conservatives have to say and only HALF of what the liberals have to say. Instead of seeing this as the American people demanding fairness, he sees a bunch of whackos who are not his “intellectual equal” and wants more than anything to “show them” (us) and is at this very moment holding an all-nighter, or at least until he’s told to put on his jammies by Mitchelle, to come up with some sort of organized and well-funded rally. But just running the numbers and paying people to show up is probably even more expensive than the brown clown is willing to shell out…unless, of course they either print some money for it, or just tap into the billions of bailout money. Highly illegal….of course…but….he doesn’t care.

Finally, if all this happens as I say, or close to it, you’re going to see the liberals come more unraveled. Panic will set in and they’ll start making some very glaring and very obvious mistakes that even their beloved drooling fans will (should?) recognize.

They know the real number…and the real number is much larger than the number of those who came to see him get anointed in January…and much cleaner too.

You and a million or so other folks are to be commended…praised and thanked. I thank you. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you and all who attended.

I’m not sure how anyone could possibly estimate the size of a crowd that massive. For me, stepping out of a Metro train station into a sea of conservative protestors is a memory that will stay with me forever.

It certainly is no surprise to us here that the msm biases the size fo the protest with their ‘tens of thousands’ description. In the end… their efforts to downplay are of little importance because a powerful message has been sent to Barry and congress. In particular, so called moderate Democrats have been put on notice. We’ll see how badly they want to keep their job.

What I witnessed was hundreds of thousands of Americans making sacrifices in both time and money – during tough economic times – to stand up for their country. I have a feeling this will not be our last visit to DC.

At least now Obama can consider himself the uniter he claims to be. He has united conservatives like no other president in American history.

DITTO , BigOil! Coming up out of the ground of the metro with hundreds of excited Americans into the tens of thousands of like minded Americans on the sunny streets of DC to march up PA ave with 100’s of thousands more was UNFORGETTABLE! If congress passes health care or cap and trade—let’s do it again, spontaneously and IMMEDIATELY!!
