Caitie Parker’s Tweets Re Jared Loughner

In reverse chronological order (latest to earliest) from Twitter:

Caitie Parker

@johnedelstein possibly. I’m looking back at this at a 14-19 year old. Who knows if any of us knew what for sure we were yet.

@johnedelstein not as I knew him no. Very accepting of everyone. But that was 3 years ago.

@FriendThatCooks 3 years ago when I saw him last he was more leftist. Now I don’t know.

@johnedelstein & when I say "us" or "our" I mean our group. There were 5-6 of us that hung out in hs.

@johnedelstein well for the Bush/Kerry election we all wore "1 term president" buttons. That election was HUGE to us.

@johnedelstein we listened to political punk in high school & agreed with their leftist opinions for the most part Anti-Flag was our band.

@johnedelstein also probably more libertarian & definitely socially liberal.

@johnedelstein liberal in wanting to change the way the world was run, we both wanted to. He took it to an extreme I never would’ve.

@pursueliberty who knows. It could all be merely a psychotic snap. I don’t think anyone knows. I surely don’t.

@icwhatudo he was leftwing when I knew him in hs & college, 3 years ago. So he may have changed, who knows. But thanks.

@nyctheblog yeah over 20 facebook messages, emails, & people harassing my poor mom & sister.

@toyotabedzrock yep, I’m merely stating how I remembered an old friend as he was when I saw him last, 3 years ago. I’ve make that clear.

@kurtbradwill I never said anything about him being a Tea Partier, check your facts.

@veronacodex I wish I could give everyone a hug & apologize for lack of knowledge to know, that a guy I new, was troubled, & didn’t see it.

@Gnushound very true. The guy I knew 3 years ago isn’t the evil he became today.

@stewmj I went to high school, college, & was in a band with him. I know what I know & not asking anyone to believe me in this madness.

@MindlessPrey I have no idea. I think he slowly descended in a psychotic break. Something in him snapped. He wasn’t always like this.

@SkyZiegler you’re welcome. I’m glad I could be of some help in this horrible tragedy. Can’t help but think if I had been there today, if things would’ve come out differently. Maybe I could’ve talked him down. Stages of grief?

@TQMKA b/c they’re all related. I’m all about peace & acceptance. That goes hand in hand in my faith & political views.

@lonelyfame I have nothing against differing political views. That’s what our country is built on, freedom of opinions & beliefs. Thank you!

@ToureX thank you sir. I haven’t seen him in 3 years, but the guy I knew was a polar opposite of the evil he became today.

@ToureX I did know him & as stunned & horrified as anyone else. The Jared I knew, want like this. All about peace.

@royaldavis the band It’s Like Love? Love those guys. I tweeter about Jared b/c writing is my means of coping. I had to write to get it off my chest. People hanging on my words, NOT expected. Anyone who says I’m milking or lying for media attention is WRONG! one tweet & my phone, twitter, & facebook blew up. I never wanted this.

@shaunlandry I stated I went to high school, college, & was in a band with him, & made it clear how I knew him THEN not NOW.

@theEcon_tweets what does that have to do with anything regarding today. I was making a observance of a TV show. I voted for Giffords & came into this story wondering what kind of evil could do this. Sadly, I know him, & I’m not proud of that. I do not condone anything Jarod has done, it is horrific. I’m still in shock & haven’t stopped shaking since the news. Did GMA(+ ABC Radio) & The Today Show. No more interviews. I said how I knew Jared, & my shock at this incident. Now to reflect & pray. I can’t manage all these media requests & @ replies. Too much too fast, can’t keep up. This is a circus. Good Morning America just called me.

@antderosa it’s loughner just checked my year book.

@lakarune I haven’t seen him since ’07. Then, he was left wing.

@noboa more left. I haven’t seen him since ’07 though. He became very reclusive.

@antderosa he had a lot of friends until he got alcohol poisoning in ’06, & dropped out of school. Mainly loner very philosophical.

@antderosa As I knew him he was left wing, quite liberal. & oddly obsessed with the 2012 prophecy.

@antderosa he was a pot head & into rock like Hendrix,The Doors, Anti-Flag. I haven’t seen him in person since ’07 in a sign language class

@antderosa He was a political radical & met Giffords once before in ’07, asked her a question & he told me she was "stupid & unintelligent"

@antderosa I went to high school, college, & was in a band with the gunman. This tragedy has just turned to horrific.

Funny how little play this has gotten from our mainstream media watchdogs.

  1. Tater Salad says:

WND) — Jared Lee Loughner, the suspected gunman in Saturday’s Arizona shooting, attended a high school that is part of a network in which teachers are trained and provided resources by a liberal group founded by Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers and funded by President Obama, WND has learned.

The group, Small Schools Workshop, has been led by a former top communist activist who is an associate of Ayers. Obama provided the group with funds in the 1990s when he worked at an education reform group alongside Ayers.

Loughner attended Mountain View High School, which is part of Arizona’s Morana Unified School District. Since 2003, Mountain View has been part of what is known as the Smaller Learning Community, a network of schools that have been restructured to create a more personalized learning environment where students often have the same teachers and fellow students from grade to grade.

Mountain View was part of the Smaller Learning Communities throughout Loughner’s entire attendance there, from 9th grade until he withdrew without graduating before his senior year.

The high school received grants to research the concepts of Smaller Learning Communities and work to implement them.

Ayers himself is considered one of the fathers of the Smaller Learning Communities, often providing lectures to schools on the subject. For example, a 2001 lecture at Lewis & Clark College featured Ayers at a workshop entitled, “A Simple Justice: Building Smaller Learning Communities to Know Our Youth.”

Smaller Learning Communities had its conceptual genesis in 1991, when Ayers founded a group, Small Schools Workshop, which provides training and resources to teach schools on how to implement the Smaller Learning Communities.

Small Schools Workshop is a recommended agent for how to implement smaller schools curriculum, including at Loughner’s alma mater, Mountain View.

Ayers’ Small Schools Workshop has the stated goal of providing support for teachers who want to create smaller learning environments. Ayers reportedly recruited a radical activist, Mike Klonsky, to head the Workshop. Klonsky still serves as director.

The Small School Workshop originally was associated with the University of Illinois in Chicago, where Klonsky previously taught in the education department alongside Ayers, who retired from the university last year. The group was headquartered for a time inside the university’s department of education building.

In 1995, with Obama as its chairman, the newly formed Chicago Annenberg Challenge, or CAC, a school reform organization, gave the Workshop a grant of $175,000. The CAC provided another $482,662 to the Workshop over the next few years.

Of course we won’t hear a thing about this or Tater’s post in the media. I’ve noticed that the media switched their tune pretty quickly (this time) after hearing that this guy was more left than right; however, not a one of them has apologized for what they said. Sure, they may have said, “It was wrong to point fingers” or some other half-apology, but none of them have said, “Gee, 80% of America, we’re sorry for insinuating that you’re unstable like this Jared guy.” Or, “Mrs. Palin, we aplogize for twisting your words.” They intentionally laid the foundation that we’re evil and then played the fake contrition game so that they come out smelling like roses. The damage they wanted is done.
It’s also why you see most MSM outlets switching to the hero stories or things about that weird shrine in his backyard. (Which I have to question: did he have his own house? If so…how, at 22? If he lived with his parents, how did they not see or worry about such a thing? I digress…). They’re looking for the feely good fluff stories to detract from the elephant in the room (that they’re being called out on their lying and that it is them – liberals and their media cronies – who have destroyed America and led to the politicizing of everything).

    • Rusty Shackleford says:

I’m cautiously confident that Rush may be right in saying today that “The public just isn’t buying it anymore” meaning the warped and skewed meme of the left’s media machine. Those who do are hopeless anyway. But I have to agree that even many loopy lefties aren’t necessarily accepting the alphabet media’s uptake on all this. If anything, their “reporting” these past couple of days has once again exposed them for what they really are.

    • proreason says:

TerryAnne, you may have discovered the real problem with the shooter!

He probably was lured into a predatory mortgage.

    • TerryAnne says:

Rusty – I’m with Rush on that one. I believe the media is playing nice (or the version of it in their book) since they took such a beating for the 2008 “elections” (their laudatory comments and adulation of Obama) and how their godfathers were creamed in the last election. Yet, they still don’t quite get it and think everyone as stupid as they are. I’ve noticed a lot of liberal projection happening in the last few days (as in, liberals are getting very angry with everyone else because they’re realizing that they’ve been suscinctly indoctrinated their whole lives, but rather than trying to learn how to change, they’re going to force everyone down in their hell with them). I’m not quite sure what broke with this one, versus all of the other assassinations by liberals on liberals, but this one seems to have set them on the warpath. I can see our freedom of speech going and the right to bear arms along with it. Why this one, I’ll never know. Especially since we have yet to see the “poor, downtrodden, psychopathic soul” route that the media likes to pander when a nutter goes batty with a gun. Normally that’s one of their first tactics and they haven’t released the balloon yet. That bothers me.

Proreason – HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! However, all he had to do was just walk out and become a proper liberal martyr, then. ;)

  3. River0 says:

Democrats are desperate now to find some way to change the “narrative” of ObaMessiah’s epic failures that has been a millstone around their neck since November 3rd.

Their ‘blame the right’ tactic is backfiring, and most Americans don’t by the Regime Media’s spin on this story. They’re heartily sick of the fraudulent attacks on conservatives.

The more Republicans expose the monstrosity of Health Control and the 50% rise in national debt since January ’07 when Democrats took over Congress, the worse it is for Dems. Independents are deserting them in droves now.
