Right of the People:

Look for Carter's pic on some currency with a lot of zeros behind it. You know, the kind we'll have to print when hyperinflation hits. (It's only fitting, don't you think?)

Democrats are like a cartoon.

--Carter laments the poor and helpless Palestinians ==> they plant road bombs to kill him.
--Obama declares the U.S. will reduce its nuclear arsenal ==> North Korea launches a missile.
--Obama says the swine flu is not a big deal ==> WHO declares a pandemic.
--Michelle plants a vegetable garden ==> Obama goes out for a burger, fries and a cigarette.
--Michelle calls Bo a "crazy" dog  ==> well, you know . . . .

And don't get me started on that howdy doody mother, Hillary. Or that horse-haired freak show, Biden.

Rusty, you have to look at the associations and only consider what he says in light of his background. As we know, he is the biggest liar the country has ever seen.

You can't find anybody he has associated with his entire life who isn't anti-semitic. From Wright to Farrakam to a host of Pakistani's who we know little about, to his advisors in his campaigns, to Rezko, to his current cabinet and advisors, to Carter.....all anti-Semites, and in some cases of a virulent flavor.

Then look at his recent words, which for sure, are toned down as much as possible by multiple layers of contextualizers and triple-talk specialists. He can't say a single good thing about the people who have done more for Western civilzation than any other, who have suffered more than any others, and who have created more than any others....not a single good word. Meanwhile he praises to the heavens a failed culture that hasn't created anything the world uses today, crediting them with inventions that were created long prior to Mohammed perverting their heritage, and acting like they are the equivalent of the most brilliant cuture of all time.

The Moron is as much an anti-Semite as Carter, probably moreso.

Israel is in dire peril, because, strong as they are in every respect, they simply can't have an arms industry capable of holding off a billion people forever. Without US support, they perish.

Oh, shucks. Maybe Carter thinks he's the President. Maybe he forgot when he was President, the hijacking and hostage taking, and little middle-eastern children in school taught to hate Americans and circle grenades and bombs to learn how to count. All that money, and he can't afford medical help he needs.

Pro, you said it a couple of months ago that the shadow will once again be cast on "them jews" and it's really getting up steam.

I didn't believe it but I do now.

It's such a wonderful experience to witness the ugliness of humanity in my lifetime while the liberals, who are not the least bit as their label implies want an overbearing government to make all their decisions for them, to have liberty cast aside in the name of security but without realizing, of course, as the saying goes, that they will end up with neither.

And their ridiculous defense of radical muslims. I lived in Libya as a kid while my dad taught pilots to fly the F-27 for Mobil Oil. We left just before Khadaffi blew up the BOAC VC-10's on the ramp in Tripoli. At the age of seven I took an interest in the news and trying to understand what they were up to and as the years progressed, learned that there are a huge number of bad people there, and not just due to being labeled by republicans.

I knew years ago that their own system failed and fails them still. Yet their leaders, through maintaining ignorance and not allowing much education, maintain that it's all the US's fault.

Bloody shame, that. But I pretty much dismissed any hope of any peace with them at all as 1968 became 1978, through the gas shortages, and then as 1988 rolled around and things only were getting worse. 1998 certainly not much better and then 2001 and I was completely hardened.

Carter is no more a representative of the majority of Americans than a fruit bat. He's another one who believes that government is the benefactor of good will to all and can repair even a broken heart. And he's a traitor as well. But alack, alas, we live in a nation that not only embraces such people but empowers them.

Such emotional thinking only serves to get us into more trouble, more often and with higher consequences each time. Why they are so blind, I am completely baffled.

No need to apologize! Nice to see someone who actually knows the history of the region. Also important to note that the Arab League decided NOT to absorb the Arab refugees coming from "Palestine" (never been a sovereign nation... just the name of an area of land originally called that by the Romans in 70 AD when they destroyed the second temple, and the land subsequently got passed around from empire to empire). The Arab League purposefully kept their own "brothers" in refugee camps in order to have pretext for war and to keep them permanently ticked off.

Side note, if you check out Ezra and Nehemiah in the Bible, when the Jews were coming back to the land and rebuilding the what would ultimately become the second temple (530's BC) they were opposed by Arabs then as well. Nehemiah specifically refers to their three biggest opponents (who incidentally constantly beseeched the king and made up stuff about the Jews): Toviyah, Sanvalat, and "the Arabs" - Nehemiah 2:19-20, 4:7-8, also a guy referred to as "Geshem the Arab" in Nehemiah 6:1... trust me... no matter what some clown may say on a Cairo stage, this conflict goes back a lot more than 60 years.... and the right of the Jewish people to that Land definitely predates any group of Arabs who decided in 1967 to call themselves "Palestinians."

Carter is so deceived it's nauseating. How anyone with his lack of common sense could become POTUS is beyond me. I pray for his soul, but can't imagine a more ignorant person regarding world events.

I don't want anyone to die and I'm glad he is safe, but I hope God touches this man's heart so Carter can realize how misguided he has been.

Never forget....Carter has, but he's dumber than a rock.
On May 14 1948, the last British forces left Haifa, and the Jewish Agency, led by David Ben-Gurion, declared the creation of the State of Israel, in accordance with the 1947 UN Partition Plan. Both U.S. President Harry S. Truman and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin immediately recognized the new state
Arab League members Egypt, TransJordan, Syria, Lebanon and Iraq declared war and announced their rejection of the UN partition decision. They claimed the right of self-determination for the Arabs of Palestine over the whole of Palestine.[40] Saudi-Arabia and Sudan also sent forces to participate in the invasion.
UN Secretary General Trygve Lie described this as the first armed aggression which the world had seen since the end of the war”.
The invading Egyptian and Iraqi armies were poorly trained and equipped as the British had feared they would support the Nazis during the Second World War. The Jordanian "Arab Legion" however, was well trained and had aided the British in Palestine. Many Arab Legion forces were still in Palestine when the British left. Arab Legion commanders were high-ranking British officers (who resigned from the British Army in 1948). The Commander-in-Chief was a British General, Glubb Pasha.
The invading Arab armies were initially successful but met far harder Jewish resistance than they expected, causing them to slow their advance. On May 29, 1948 the British initiated United Nations Security Council Resolution 50 and declared an arms embargo on the region. Czechoslovakia violated the resolution supplying the Jewish state with critical military hardware to match the heavy equipment and planes available to the invading Arab states (who were supplied by Britain).
In early June, the UN declared a month-long truce.
Following the announcement of independence, the Haganah became the Israel Defense Forces and the Palmach, Etzel and Lehi were required to join and cease independent existence. During the ceasefire, Etzel attempted to bring in a private arms shipment aboard a ship called "Altalena". When they refused to unconditionally hand over the arms to the government, Ben-Gurion ordered that the ship be sunk. Several Etzel members were killed in the fighting.
Large numbers of Jewish immigrants, many of them World War II veterans and Holocaust survivors now began arriving, and many joined the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).[42] When the fighting resumed, Israel gained the upper hand.
Arab supply routes were long and fragile and as the war dragged on they had problems replenishing their ammunition supplies. The Jordanian 'Arab Legion', refrained from invading Israeli territory and focused on occupying the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
In March 1949, after many months of battle, a permanent ceasefire went into effect and Israel's interim borders, later known as the Green Line, were established.
The Jordanian “Arab Legion” however, was well trained and had aided the British in Palestine.
During the ceasefire, Etzel attempted to bring in a private arms shipment aboard a ship called “Altalena”.
