CBS Reporter: Iran Candidates Are Like Tea Party

From the Daily Caller:

CBS News reporter calls new Iranian president a tea partier

By Patrick Howley | June 17, 2013

CBS News reporter Elizabeth Palmer likened new Iranian president-elect Hasan Rowhani to an American tea party activist in a weekend interview on the network.

“Liz, a man named Hassan Rowhani will be the next president of Iran. Is he in the mold of Ahmadinejad?,” CBS News anchor Jim Axelrod asked Palmer, who was appearing on the program from London.

“Well he was seen as the most reform-minded of all the candidates who ran this time. That being said, they were all very conservative. In U.S. terms, it was as if all the candidates for the presidency came from the tea party,” Palmer said

Actually, all of the eight candidates in Iran’s Presidential ‘election’ were hand-picked by the Gran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Khamenei is the Supreme Leader of Iran and their ‘Messiah.’

And their campaign speeches sounded pretty much like those from our Democrat Presidential candidates of late. Especially when talking about the Great Satan, the United States.

Palmer, a veteran of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation who has filed reports for PBS and NPR, has been primarily covering Middle East issues for CBS News since 2000.

That is to say, Ms. Palmer used to suck at the government teat. So it’s no wonder she would hate anyone who wants to limit government.

And I say, “Anyone who wathches CBS news is like a roach who has had it’s head removed. They may continue to live for days but don’t realize they’re already dead.”

  2. See BS has never been more true.
