Uh oh! What’s that make me? I made the same statement, “BO’s tap dancing”, the night of the Debate. Until SJ point it out, I didn’t know the term WAS considered racist. I always thought the expression, “tap dancing”, meant that someone was avoiding the issues. Silly me.

Sheesh! I have got to get my hands on one of those Manuals with the acceptable PC words that we can use in our vocabulary before it’s too late. :-)

Joe the Plumber represents Middle America, he is symbolic of what we could face under a BO Administration. The MSM and Liberal reaction to him is disgusting and unfair. (I hope they keep it up though as it IS waking many people up and it IS helping McCain.)

Hello everybody socialism is alive and well in the USA and has been for some time. God bless Joe the plumber. I left my trade years ago. I live in Florida and when I was a boy my father provided a variety of construction services without the first license. When I left the construction business (by the way I worked by myself) I had to have a state certification, I had to take continuing education classes each year, I had to carry a workman’s comp policy at $1000.00 a year that didn’t cover me and I had no employees, I had to keep detailed engineering on everything I did, of course I had to pay a Federal tax just to conduct business and the list goes on. When the government gets that involved with a little guy like me who just wanted to work by himself and offer a good service to me that is socialism. Maybe the government didn’t own my business but they might as well have. Contrary to popular belief big business doesn’t mind socialism if it means squeezing out the little guy. God bless Joe the plumber.

Apparently the writer of the sentences above don’t understand the difference between “worth”, “revenue”, and “income”.

A business that costs $250K may not generate that much in revenue in a given year, must less that much income. Revenue does not equate to income. Income = Revenue – Expenses.

So a business with revenue of $250,000 may have expenses of $200,000 (payroll, rent, equipment, etc.); leaving income of only $50K … a business with income under $50K would not have taxes raised under the Obama plan.

A business with $500,000 in revenue and only $200,000 in expenses would have income of $300,000, and may experience higher taxes.

A business with $2,000,000 in revenue, and $1,800,000 in expenses would only have income of $200,000, and thus would not have taxes raised under the Obama plan.

REVENUE != INCOME. INCOME = REVENUE – EXPENSES.

Isn’t it amazing that such huge swaths of the public have no freaking clue as to how their employers decide whether they will have a job tomorrow or not, or will be hiring more employees?

Nope, it’s more fun to paint them as the enemy and wait for the Government to “do something.”

Perhaps it is time to socialize our economy as soon the Government will be the only employer left.
