CIA Killer Wife: Anti-US War Must Go On

From a commiserating Associated Press:

CIA bomber’s wife says war must go on against US

By Selcan Hacaoglu [sic], Associated Press Writer Fri Jan 8

ISTANBUL – The Turkish wife of a Jordanian doctor who killed seven CIA employees in a suicide attack in Afghanistan says her husband was outraged over the treatment of Iraqis at Abu Ghraib prison and the U.S.-led invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Defne Bayrak, the wife of bomber Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi, said in an interview with The Associated Press that his hatred of the United States had motivated her husband to sacrifice his life on Dec. 30 in what he regarded as a holy war against the U.S.

Bayrak also said Friday, "I think the war against the United States must go on."

Turkish police questioned and released Bayrak on Thursday. But she says police confiscated a book she had written called "Osama bin Laden the Che Guevera of the East."

Well, the book title is about right. They are/were both vicious mass murderers. And Bin Laden t-shirts would probably sell like hot cakes on most college campuses.

And speaking of selling, how long will it be before Ms. Bayrak gets a guest spot on Oprah?

But do notice that she didn’t even mention Guantanamo in her list of grievances? Does that mean we can keep it open now?

Of course the fact that she does mention Abu Ghraib, which the US long ago handed back to the Iraqis (much to the chagrin of the prisoners there, who want the US guards back), shows exactly how much good closing Gitmo will do.

None whatsoever.

However it will waste a lot of tax money and further endanger US citizens, make it that much harder to get convictions, and establish some absurdly dangerous precedents.

Which was clearly the idea behind the whole absurd exercise in the first place.

What’s really maddening is the AP’s willingness and glee in interviewing the murderer’s wife. It’s obvious that by doing this, they demonstrate their anti-US agenda, doing the work of their hippie-US-hater professors they had in “journalism” school.

    Liberalism is a disease.

I hope this family doesn’t hear about what happens in college fraternities.

They will all have to blow themselves up.

  3. BillK says:

Let’s not forget that the “abuses” prisoners received at Abu Ghraib would be considered what prisoners get for good behavior in the vast majority of prisons around the world.

If America still gave a #$@! about its place in the world, with every terrorist or Iraqi they shot they would say “Thats for the Americans hung from the bridge and torched in Falluja.

EXACTLY what I was thinking! My guess is after the marriage, when he first unwrapped the burkha, his immediate thought was “WHOA–I think I would like to blow myself up!”

  7. Perdido says:

According to the way they handle marriages over there (keeps the money in the families) she was probably married to her uncle.

It does keep the money in the family. But it’s line breeding. They’ve been doing this for 700 years. Of course she thinks murdering thousands of innocents is normal.

    They’ve bred themselves into insanity.

This just in from someone with family in the field:

… [somebody] called me and asked me to help spread this new information. She has [family members] that are Army Rangers. They have, and are, serving in Iraq and Afganhistan. Apparently one, or both, were home for Christmas and told her of a frustrating, and life-threatening, new directive thay have recently been given.

They are no longer allowed to “Double – Pop” the enemy. This means that once you have shot or disabled an enemy, you are no longer allowed to shoot him again to insure that he cannot do you further harm. Apparently, Muslims consider this insurance shot to be a “disfigurement to the body”, and, therefore, extremely offensive !

American soldiers, however, consider this new directive as putting their lives needlessly at risk from a wounded, but still dangerous, enemy. This directive against offending the enemy has come down from “on high”. Noone will own up to issuing it. However, since some of our nation’s leaders have strong Muslim ties in their background, they should be suspect.

This is a dangerous new development. Please make others are aware of this new directive and it’s potential for harming our troops.

    Please pass the word.

Our defenders are being ordered to avoid offending the enemy … at risk of their lives.

    This is an outrage!

    It must not stand.
