Too Much Info On Sheehan’s Hysterectomy

From her fans at the Associated Press:

Anti-war protester Cindy Sheehan, center, is caught in the middle as police arrest Tiffany Burns during a protest outside the doors of the ballroom where President Bush’s top advisor Karl Rove was speaking at an Associated Republicans of Texas dinner Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, in Austin, Texas.

Cindy Sheehan Recovering Post-Hysterectomy

Aug 22, 2006 6:09 pm US/Pacific

(AP) WACO, Tx War protester Cindy Sheehan is recovering in a Texas hospital after having a hysterectomy Tuesday.

Sheehan had surgery at Providence Health Center in Waco, about 20 miles from land she recently bought in President Bush's adopted hometown of Crawford.

Sheehan, of Berkeley, is expected to be hospitalized several days and then rejoin the peace vigil…

And here is the spin for her mindless dupes devoted followers from her flunky, the pretend war hero, at the hilariously self-styled Truthout site:

Cindy Back in Hospital but Camp Casey Continues

By Geoffrey Millard

As our valued readers get this on their computers, Cindy Sheehan will have left Camp Casey in Crawford, Texas, for a short stay in the local hospital. She will be getting a procedure done that, while serious, is being undertaken with the spirit of the woman who has become known as the peace mom. As she left for her tent last night, I asked her what she wanted to say to my readers and she said, "Tell them thanks for all their support and ask them to come to Camp Casey." I, having watched my own mother go through much of what Cindy is dealing with, was truly surprised at her never asking for anyone to pray for her or donations but merely requesting the presence of the more than twelve thousand people who were at Camp Casey last year. There are many differences in this past year, and the only thing we know for sure is that in the time Cindy became a name needing nothing to follow it for recognition, 800 US service members died, and while Cindy is looking at an extended stay in the hospital, her activism shows through as she explains her reaction to a Bush press conference: “It makes me want to have rallies in my hospital room!"

Cindy will be in the hospital, but Truthout will continue to bring you updates on her heath and the activities at Camp Casey, to include Camp Casey residents talking to GIs at Ft, Hood, counter-recruiting protests, and much more.

Get well quickly, Mother Sheehan.

The GOP needs you.
